Love that Doug did not at all plan for the very inevitable possibility that someone may blatantly join the wrong team.
Whats more ridiculous is it would have been super easy to code in a check for the first letter of the username. But banning people did generally seem to be a good way to keep people honest. Plus it allowed for the meme of milking them to be used, and was pretty funny.
It also surprises me how many don't understand the concept of A Crew, Z Crew or Alphabet Crew. I mean it's literally in their names?
@@livingcheese2910 Yeah, but a lot of people (Like me) don't remember the exact half of the alphabet. Doesn't help that the alphabet has an uneven number of letters. Also, Doug himself forgot several times during this stream which unit belonged to which team.

@@yondev They probably wouldn't, because ice archers literally can't deal damage. They're a support unit that slows enemies down and occasionally freezes smaller ones to death (spoiler alert: dragons are pretty big), not an actual damage dealer.

the fact doug let a crew use dragons throughout the entire thing was pretty rigged imo, dragons have too much range for anything to contest them
Added to the fact that whenever he set everyone up, he bunched everyone together right at the front. Put some ranged units at the back of the field and those dragons are going to struggle, but he essentially set Z Crew up to lose each time.

Doug is partially correct. Dual leadership was seen in WW2, but typically with the Nazis. It didn't work very well and usually ended in Hitler taking sides and making decisions. This happened with the Defence of Normandy. Erwin Rommel wanted Panzer units to move south to defend Normandy, but the other General working in his area wanted to keep them in Calais as this was where the Germans believed an attack would come from. After much debate, the decision went to Hitler, who decided most of the panzer units should be held at Paris as his own personal rear guard and could only be moved with his permission. This left both Normandy and Calais unequipped for a defence. The Allies land at Normandy and move in land. Erwin Rommel requests the Paris units move to intercept, but this request is denied as Hitler is yet to wake. By the time he does finally get up around midday, the Allies have a foothold in western France and the Panzer units are no longer useful. Dual leadership doesn't work, had Rommel had his way Normandy would have been a fortress, and there would have been units in Calais ready to move, but this did not happen

Musketeers have much longer range than dragons and are powerful. If you got some big front line unit(s) to distract the dragons for them, (a couple tanky ones, not 100 weak units), I think they would work well. But 90% of my TABS knowledge has come from watching Doug so don’t take my word to the bank. I don’t own the game
