Of all the demos of this amp - this is by far the best. I have the amp and watching other demos I didn't recognised the amp the way they demoed it. ! Finally someone who can play and who gets the amp sounding like it actually does using practical settings. - Well done.

The Sky King is a true incredible amp... Over an Imperial, the dual attenuation is really the key feature.

Twangy sounding pickups!!! Even the neck pick up!!!
I've owned several Suhr strats. very twangy or trebly. they do sound and play nice but too delicate sounding, too thin. I'm back to Fenders and totally happy in the tonal dept.
Very nice amp and sounds amazing but at 3k I'll have to sell one of my kidneys.

Sorry, the Deluxe Reverb you use for the demos sounds far better. Richer and deeper. All the Tone King amps I’ve heard sound clinically sterile.

Go listen to a Sky King in person. The Deluxe Reverb can't touch it.
I think it's the guitar that sounds bad..
I have the hand wired ‘64 Deluxe and the Sky King, nothing clinically sterile out of the Sky King, my Two Rock CRS would even classify as leaning more sterile on average settings than the Sky King. They all three bring a different pretty girl to the party. They each hold their own and couldn’t part with any one of them.
