Hang in there. I suffered acne in the 70's when there were no effect treatments. I am going to save up for some sort of in office treatment to hopefully minimize my uneven texture due to scarring.

I completely agree about Microneedling. During the years I have tried almost everything to resolve my acne scars and look younger, anything from face exercises (That's for sagging), vitamin C serum, Fraxel, collagen supplements and of course Retin A (7 years straight). However, nothing made any real difference compared to the high-quality derma pen I purchased for under 100 bucks. Within 3 months of use, my skin has improved DRAMATICALLY. Acne scars from childhood gone by 90% which was the main reason I started doing it however, that's not the only benefit, My fine lines have disappeared completely, and my nasolabial folds are way less prominent. I don't look like I'm in my 20s again, but definitely not 56 either. People often underestimate the power of wounding and the revolutionary effects it can have on the skin.

+1 for kora beauticaIs. I've been doing microneedling since it started 12 or so years ago. Nobody believe I am 55. They all say I am in my 30's or early 40's. As you know, as we get old, our skin gets thinner therefore creating wrinkles. But the wounding kept my skin still thick and youthful. Your comment will help so many women to restore their skin..

Ditto on the subject of texture 🎉 I have little, if any, estrogen in my body. I’m noticing that the texture of my forehead seems to be getting a little “rough” … not scars, not acne
(but some of them look like they could be popped(kinda a sorta) and am wondering if this could be caused by lack of estrogen. It’s really starting to bug me because I’ve always been blessed with good skin.❤😮❤

I honestly recommend just going on accutane. I had acne from 10 -29. Accutane was the only thing that worked. I experienced clear skin for basically the first time in my life. I really wish I’d gone on it sooner and not been so afraid of it. I didn’t realize how much of the marking on my skin was permanent until I stopped getting pimples.

      @Katepwe Před 23 dny +2

I used Accutane when I turned 30 (I’m now 60) and it definitely did clear up the acne for good. My skin, nose, eyes became very dry, red and uncomfortable and there was some nasty purging that left a few mild indented scars but no real texture. These side effects could have been much less had I been given instructions on how to care for my skin while on the medication. Looking back, if I had been given the option, I would have used prescription tretinoin first. I’ve had some professional micro needling which has made some improvement.

best way: moisturise and sunscreen. my holy grail is a lightweight moisturiser ( i use invity microemulsion ) and then i use spf 50 sunscreen! try not to use any harsh acids if it is active. stay away from tret, or retinol or retinoid. focus on healing acne first and then the scarring. it is hard to do both at the same time.

I'm in my 40. Took me 30yrs to find out what I'm doing wrong to get acne. Over 10yrs now of no more acne just mini red scars. What I did that works: It all comes down to what you consume. Stay away from bad oil specially hydrogenated oil like vegetable oil; dary products and process food. (Read your food labels of ingredients) Stay hydrate, exercise and eat clean. Check your liver. Clean your colon. Clog colon leads to build up of toxins coming out to the surface. (Look it up) All the products will only help from the outside but the main cause is within. I pray for everyone get theough this stressful battle. Keep fighting and never give up!

Question please. What are the percentages of the highlighted ingredients in the Hyper Serum and the Active Seal? Ex. Kojic acid, the Vit C ester, Niacinamide, etc. I would much appreciate the information. I'm excited to try your skin care line!

Hi! I am a big fan of yours and fully agree with every view of yours about the today’s cosmetics! That’s why I am starting my own cosmetics company right now. Will be in Connecticut, close to New York next week with my family for a week and I will be really grateful if you have the time just to meet and speak. I am with a car and can come to your clinic. Thank you for your time. Wish you a wonderful week :)

I have a few acne scars that formed keloids and I’d like to know what could help for this…by the way I just started to use your products the minute they were available in Canada and I really like the results as of now! Thank you again for all your videos … you’re a great teacher ….I’ve learned so much since I discovered your blog! 🦋🌸❤️🦋🐈‍⬛

Thank you for another great and informative video. Would be great if you could also make a video about the in-office treatments with the latest technology and what are they good for, how efficient they are, etc. For example Morpheus, CO2, Velashape, etc.
There is a lot if misleading info online and I would like to be more educated about this topic.
    Thank you!

Could you put together both an OTC and a Rx version of an ideal week of a hyperpigmentation routine? Having all these ingredient and product recommendations are cool, but when and how to use them all within a routine is overwhelming.
Maybe like a “skin cycling for hyperpigmentation” detailing which ingredients can/should be used twice a day, which ingredients synergize vs which should be used on separate days, and then example routines for each day of the week with products and how you’d layer them!

    • @Storm411z

Even low tech little handwritten sticky notes or notecards with the products or routines with ingredient frequencies for visuals would be helpful 😊

Old little Lebanese nerd here. I look much younger than my 60+ years but the box car scars on my cheeks have always made me self conscious. Acne scars more than just your skin. So I'm intrigued by the post below. I've used Tretenoin on and off for many years and have really seen no difference. So I'm going to order one and try it. Hopefully it works as well for me as Daniellemcdd states below.

thank you. I suffered from horrible cystic acne and had to do three courses of Accutane over a period of about 20 years. I’ve been using tretinoin nine often on, but consistently over the last five years. I stopped producing excess amount of oil and getting acne at about age 42 and I’m now almost 47. The scars have improved, although they are still extremely visible. I have both types. They are mainly in the areas where a man would grow a beard, lol I am thinking about going to a cosmetic dermatologist, and I am going to show them this and ask them about each type oftreatment

I am not an acne girl and never been one when I was a teen BUT I did experience few pimples throughout my 20s (few breakouts) and 1-3 of them turned into a red spot. So I believe you don't need to have had a face full of acne for years to develop few acne marks, just one pimple can become a mark. Also, I am the type who seriously enjoys to pop them so don't do that since it"s majorly because of that it can leave a nice mark 😉

Hello. I love your content. I have learned so many things from you. I have 2 questions:
    - are there ingredients that you can not use on tattoos? Or are there ingredients that are recommended for tattooed skin? Except spf :)
    - which are the ingredients that you have to take a break from? For ex: i can use tranexamic acid for eternity or i have to use it 2 months and then take a break? Or retinol, glycolic acid? I imagine antioxidants can be use without taking a break but actives?
    Please excuse my english 😢.

I've struggled with acne scars (ice pack and boxar scars) and did tca peel + subcision + dermapen treatment. Now after 2 weeks I can already see 90% of improvment. I think I would need to do one more of this treatment and my scars will be all gone. So if you think what to do, I would suggest this. Microneedling, peelings (that I did few times) it self did not help me with scars, and I don't think I would have this results without subcision combined with tca and dermapen. Hope that I helped someone to, at least, make research about this treatment. Good luck everyone✨️

I have acne prone skin fighting with brown hyperpigmentation. Should I stop using 2% BHA twice a week and replace Tranexamic+ AHA serum mix????
