Always fun sharing stories with my Vinwiki fam. Sad day here at the RUC. Richard the guy I mentioned in the beginning of this story. (300C) passed and we are actually headed to his funeral. Guess my buddy gets one more Cadillac ride. - Rabbit.
Sorry to hear that man. If you gotta get a ride to the other side, making it there in a long black Cadillac is the way I'd go too.
Sorry for your loss. Thanks for sharing your stories. Take care
Thanks for the story and updating us, Rob. May his soul rest easy.
Sorry to hear that, Rabbit
Rest in peace Richard
This guy has the uncanny ability to tell a 30 second story in 15 minutes.
And have you hanging on every word of it.
I'm actually married to a man that does the same 😅 they get longer as they age too 😁
You can tell me any story you want with a voice like that 😅😅
I was pretty intrigued and entertained throughout this whole 10 min story.. AND i even watched it after I watched the 30 second/'short' version... i even think that this story could use just a few more juicy details that elude to who the people he would pick up and drop off were, as well as what the PI did with the intel collected on those people.. or who the PI worked for, or at least the type of people that he did PI work for..
Even if he made up a couple things that might make u speculate or maybe make people think that they can accurately guess who the people were.. kinda give it the Bert Kreisher treatment if ykwim..😄
Top 5 guys...on here!
Everytime I watch a Rabbit video I can suddenly remember how second hand smoke tastes, back when times were simple
Good times
Seriously lol. Im teleported to a wooden stool somewhere lol
I remember my godfather smoking his cigarettes and the smell too when hearing Rabbit. His voice unfortunately was not as cool as Rabbits.
Takes me back to every restaurant asking if you wanted a seat in the smoking section or the still full of smoke section.
Camel non filters is what made a man a man. Now they suck on peach flavored water vape juice ….
I love how Rabbit G-rates tales of debauchery. 🤣
“A lady that hangs out on the bad side of town.” Def not a JC Penny Gal, eh Rob?
That's a Walmart Woman fo' sho' 😉
A Dollar General woman of the night!
@@danielseelye6005 Crack up.
Rabbit is a professional storyteller! I could listen to him read an instruction manual.
You got that right! He could make the dictionary sound like a movie strip! 😂
Next gps voice!
Rabbit is the man!
Rabbit should be a consultant for the new Grand Theft Auto games. It's crazy how many stories he has.
Yeah they don't want to tell good stories at Rockstar now, they want to do political stories
“No, Ed. It’s already gone; sit down.”
Yessssss
I guess nobody in the comments feels the same way but kinnda seems like the limo owner story didnt really have an ending. I assume it was all about divorce work but could of been blackmail stuff also and was he still doing the same work when you saw him years later. That Caddy on bags was sweet.
I agree that it sounds like marriage infidelity stuff or blackmail, since they used the word entrapment in the video title. That “private investigator” sounds more like a middle-man hired by the disgruntled wives, to get evidence on video of the guys skunkin’ around town, so they can get their asses handed to them during the divorce proceedings 🤣🤣🤣
At least I’m not the only one wondering what it was all about.
@@jesse00pno I am pretty sure that in some states and in some situations, the person filing for divorce is pretty much incentivized to prove infidelity. A little $5k expense here or there is going to be less than a rounding error for the mark, the client, and the attorney.
You all apparently missed the fact the limo driver was working for a private investigator.
I guess I'm the only one disappointed to not learn the rest of the story and feel like I just wasted 10 minutes I'll never get back.
When you hear Rob start with, "for the sake of the video I'll call them..." you know it's going to be interesting.
Always love a good rabbit story ✅
Rabbit is my favorite story teller, great stories and a great story teller voice
I kept waiting to hear why the PI wanted that specific guy. 😂 Fun stories! I sent it to my friend who has an old caddie because she will love it.
I can listen to Rabbit's tobacco and polyp-laced voice for hours as he tells his stories. Bravo!
So you like his cancer ridden voice?
Not only a great storyteller, alot of life lessons hidden here....
Was sad to hear of Richard’s passing. He was a good friend.
Always love watching Rabbit, and that voice! Sounds like he's had Covid 37 times! 😉
The voice... Burbon🤪
Smokes and bourbon
Don't u mean the recommended 37 boosters?😅
I keep waiting for him to cough and clear his throat 😂
I heard this story once before on RUC channel. I loved hearing it a second time though. Love the car stories on VIN Wiki and Rob Pitts is a story telling legend.
My Dad was a Car Salesman for 15-20 years. Colorado, Arkansas, Ohio, Kentucky. Met many people, including celebrities
just had my daily dose of irony as the ad before this video played was for ebay motors
So what was the story on the people getting picked up by the limo ? Been nice to know that
Ah rabbit the best stories
You don’t get a Rabbit story without getting several.
Is he Irish? ☘️
I came across this guy on Facebook recently and now I’m going on a binge listening to his stories. He could sell ice cream to eskimos 😂
“Hit the switches!” Is the ultimate party trick for any car guy.
A friends dad had one for a limo service when we where kids. When it was not rented we would take it to town to go party.I understand Cadillac time of my life.
That's another great story! Have a Blessed Christmas, Rob.
"Short of whooping his ass *beep*" 🤣
I'm only part way in and I've already decided to fully rebadge the ole' 4Runner as a Coup DeVille Caddy!!
Man Rabbit and Christopher. When they are telling their story i can close my eyes and be there. All those amazing stories and people they have met . Love it . Greetings from the Netherlands and up to the next amazing story 💪🇳🇱
Lol Every time the ol' Rabbit comes on my reaction is always the same. "What on earth did he get into now!"
0:51
Now that’s a powerful “SOLD” almost took out the power grid lol
Hahahhahahahhaha
YES! Another classic from Rob "Rabbit" Pitts. 😎
Love your stories! I’m sorry for the loss of your friend. Take care!
yaaaaaaaaaaaaay Rabbit! time to turn up the bass on my audio settings for those deep luscious vocals
Always wait for these ones !
Love my 2016 CTS V-Sport. Was looking at a 4 door replacement for my M3 due to having a daughter now and glad I tested one out. The car gets a ton of attention as well. It's not stock by any means (full build on E85). So much fun.
I had an 88 caddy funeral limo with 20 inch wire wheels ,, had a blast in that thing. I enjoy your stories btw and hope all is well your way !!
His voice is soothing af
My uncle joe used to wheel and deal all the time and always had these crazy cars . He had a 65 Cadillac convertible, 70 Corvette with 454 and 4 speed etc. One time he got this Beautiful 1963 Cadillac limousine . The car was immaculate. It was black with black & ivory leather interior. It had a bar and record player in the back. Just beautiful car with like 26k original miles. This is like 1990. Well I used to take cars out all the time when I was home on leave from the Army. Myself and a few friends had a blast in that Cadillac Limo . Went to Chico Ca on a friday night when all the college kids and locals would cruise the " Esplanade " . If that Cadillac could talk there would be some ladies now in their 50s who attended Chico State in the early 90s who would beg that car to be quiet !
Hey Ed, Merry Christmas!!! 🎄⛄
Dude's VOICE is "COKED OUT!"
"It's already sold, sit down Ed." LOL!
Rabbit sold me the idea that my next car should be a caddy
I am more or a Lincoln man myself. But am the owner of a new Cadillac. Cant say im impressed. Less than a month of owning it I have had a fuel pump control unit go bad and cant even drive it. I drove my Lincoln from 100k to 200k and only changed the oil tires and breakpads.
Now I want to go hunting for an old limousine!
This man is born to tell stories, bless him and his voice ! Great job!
I always enjoy listening to Rabbit tell a story. I especially enjoyed this one bc I drive an 88 Cadillac that belonged to my grandpa that I bagged and slammed to the ground. Sapphire blue and same body style as the one in the video except it's a four door, not six. I actually have the Caddy in my intro video for my CZcams channel Skillbilly Syndicate if anyone is curious to see it. Anyhow, another great story told by Rabbit.
Welcome back Rabbit!
Dammmmmmm that P.I. was a crafty bugger
Absolutely agree about Cadillacs! I love them myself. One of my all time favorite cars that I've owned throughout the years was a 1996 Cadillac STS, in fact I owned two of those exact same model and year caddy's (not at the same time though). The Cadillac CTS-V Wagon is one of my dream cars that I'd love to own one day.
love when he says no ed its already gone sit down.
Not going to lie….i seen the short of this first, and I was expecting something sinister lol.
When I think of the perfect southern accent, I think of rabbit
"When Rabbit was a Bunny" ? Lol
"79 Cadillac built in the 90's"
Somehow that tracks when Rabbit tells the story... 🤷
Puckett Bros Mfg only bought Cadillacs from Ginn motors in Lawrenceville so when they were upgrading the cars dad bought me one that had been driven by one of the sales guys. Had it myself for another 7 years or so. Got rid of it around 2000. I loved it.
Love any story Rabbit tells.
And I took a puff...
Rabbit stories are awesome 👌
I just bought a 90 Cadillac 6 door limo
Put a lift kit on it 31 inch tires and took it to the Baja 1000
By far the funniest car I’ve ever owned
Back around 1984 ish I had a rich friend and his father let him drive his TransAm and his big Cadillac Brougham. Both great when you are teenagers driving around with that level of car, but the Cadillac was just amazing at how comfortable the ride was.
That is one sick Limo in the thumbnail…SICK.
How does this man never run out of stories?
I love how the 1st ad I see on rabbit's video is for ebay motors hahaha
That caddy limo sitting on the wires and vouges 🥲🥲
Great story!
Talking about "Air Ride", I'm 74, when I was 15 years old I was riding with my Aunt in. Los Angeles, as we stopped at a traffic light, a 1959 Chevy all customized stops next to us, then it dropped on the ground !! I thought I was "seeing things", then the light changed green, as we drove away, the 59 customized Chevy turned the corner and it. "Raised up" !! I ALWAYS wanted to know what that was that made that go "up and down", as time went on I became a autobody man and started my own shop in Long Beach, I found out about Hydraulic Suspension, and started installing it in custom cars, I was so intrigued by it 😃😃😃 GREAT VIDEO thanks
Yooooo it’s Rabbit! Better hop on over and listen 😎
Awesome voice and great storytelling ability.
the full limi story is even better on Rob's channel
Which video was it on his main channel
@@Dieselfan1997 confessions of a limo driver
You had me at rabbit
Ahh, the famous Mr Pitts! Love these stories!
Just like Cooke in Commando ! lol . . .
"you know what I like best, the price !"
Rabbit is my FAVORITE story teller!!!
YAY Rabbit on VinWiki!!!!
I swear this guy has the best stories!
Awesome video.
Rabbit should write a book!!
My last 2 cars were new. I loved my automatic 01 IS300 better than the new ones. I wish it would have been a manual sportcross instead but it was still my favorite car.
In the UK we don't "the Cadillac of...", we say "the Rolls Royce of..."
Man Rabbit almost got me convinced to go trade in for a caddy...
You mean to tell me I wasnt the 100th person to leave that bar???
All for the love of cars. What a story.
Nice story 😊
I learned to drive down the road (and off road too) in a 65 Cadillac, a beautiful car with more hot buttons than a 15 year old girl; it held all of my buddies and more beer than you could lie about, an AM/FM road cruise machine of high speed luxury, I always felt we could get one of those new Pintos in the trunk and haul it away for a prank… we never got around to such a minuscule thing, we had bigger fish to fry!
Best in the business!
if cars could talk...
go Rabbit!
Rob can TELL a story! NO doubt!
Rabbit is the best guest on vinwiki, never heard a bad rabbit story.
rabbit is back!
Interesting that from 1974-1976, the normal Cadillac Fleetwood sedan was the longest production car ever made and measured 21' 2" in length. You state @0:48 that, (3 years later), the 1979 Fleetwood limousine version measured 21' 9", merely 7" longer than the '74-'76 Fleetwood sedan?
A buddy of mine put air suspension in his golf, 1.6 liter engine with no horses in a mark 4 golf, and it was just SOOO much fun to drive that thing around town. When you saw girls you liked parked at a parking lot outside the club you could like stop with the rear end towards them and do a little car ass-twerk and make them giggle to get them to text you, and when people with more money had a large mercedes and you're parked next to them while talking they think the thought "wow what a tiny car you have" in that teasing voice, before they have managed to utter the words you lift the car up so you look down on them, and then you slam it down to the chassis and go "what you only have solid state suspension, what is this the year 1912?". Air suspension is probably the only thing you should ever put on a cheap car, forget about power and styling and a nice paintjob, just go with the air suspension. Its endless fun.
What a voice. ❤
If I could get that dude to read anything (hell, even an encyclopedia) for me, I wouldn't have to take sleeping pills anymore.
As soon as I accomplish, setting up my endeavors, I’m buying me a big ass ol caddy too! I love a 59 Coop Devilles! Good luck finding em. But one day! I love Cadillacs
I watched the whole story because I thought he was gonna tell us why this guy gave him 5 grand. Nope. Just kept him on retainer.
that is a crazy cool story
Your grandpa and mine could have been best friends! Before I was born my grandpa drove Aston Martins and grandma drove a late 60s Bentley(I have vague memories of it), but in the late 60s my grandpa started buying Cadillac Eldorado for himself and Sedan DeVilles for my grandma. Until the mid 90s grandpa bought two new Caddys every September when new cars came out. When grandma died in 97 grandpa refused to sell her car. It sat in the garage until he died in 2006 at 98 years old. By then grandma's Cadillac was a brick with 7500 miles on it.
I enjoy his stories too but this one felt like I was waiting for the climax that never got there. Would’ve been cool to know what came of from those limo rides, convictions, extortion, blackmail, honey pot or whatever those things are called.
Honey pot for a PI specializing in divorces is my bet.
Ya I didn't get the point of it neither
Glad someone else said this instead of just acting like they got it. Vinwiki comments are annoying, nobody knows what these guys are even getting at.
So that's how the "FAKE Limo" videos are made 😆 🤣 😂
