I passed one a 71 Super Cheyenne with a 402bb for my first vehicle. I am kicking myself now for doing that because it was sold by my parents to buy me a new Jeep Wrangler in 1996. I wish I had just taken it but at that time it wasn't my type of vehicle.

I love that truck that is my dream vehicle
I have a pickup that I used to drive 100 miles a day for work. Since Covid hit, I have been working from home. Now it mostly sits. I put about 2,000 miles on it in the last 18 months. I don’t have a battery tender and it sits in the driveway. How often should I drive it? I’m in California, so gas is an arm and a leg out here.
A car (or truck in this case) is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. The value books are a guidance and probably don't take into account the latest demand. My dealers don't use the books but look on the list of what cars recently sold for at the wholesale auction.

Found myself in the same position with firearms. I would not seek out a firearm I have no intention to shoot. And found that if the firearm I will shoot is too nice. I do not take it afield. And that is what they were meant to do 😉👍
