    - normal charger for the phone that is vertical and doesn’t eat too much of interior space
    - normal central storage

This is a huge no for me. Waste of time to use GM as a basis. Terrible reliability and Blazer EV already has battery/charging issues.
You can get a CRV Hybrid for $15k less, more cargo and interior space, similar power, farther range, and it’s made 100% by Honda.
Not to mention I think this is VERY expensive for what you get. Low range, cheap materials from GM, and an exterior the size of an Odyssey with an interior of an HRV?!? Insane.
I truly think this will be very unsuccessful. Honda should have waited to do their own.

I drove it. It's probably my favorite Honda (I don't like Honda). It's more tame than my Cadillac Lyriq or the Acura ZDX with 500HP AWD. This is actually a clean-looking, sensible Model Y competitor which offers more than the Tesla Model X.

One of the best looking hondas in a while. And, the 2 colors shown look great. My only problem with it from the review is that it doesn't come as a hybrid and I live in a high rise condo. 😥

Not a fan of hybrids. The range is minimal on electric and you still have all the expenses of an ice vehicle( gas, oil, and exhaust system). I went full electric in 2020 and this boomer is never going back. That’s just my opinion.

What's expensive to you, may be affordable for others. This is a large, electric SUV. If $20k out the door for a new vehicle is affordable to you, those days are gone, long gone. People want more conveniences, more space, more technology, more power, more range, more safety, more reliability, for pennies on the dollar and Tesla can't even do it.

as the review said - Honda has its own supply chain on this, so it should be just fine and it is nice to know that GM will continue on with the platform for many years apparently if you do hold onto it for a long time - with EVs many lease as a mitigation to most being in a evolutionary track and its uncertain for most looking to the longer term ownership.

This is a fail by Honda. People don't buy a Honda because of where the buttons are located, they buy a Honda for the QDR factor (Quality, Durability, Reliability), which this won't have. While Honda was able to choose the style and design of the interior and exterior, it's still a GM platform, using GM parts, built at a GM plant in Mexico. Factor in $70k for the AWD model with mediocre metrics (power, range, etc) and an interior that looks like it should be half the price, Honda should have just passed. Save those "electric resources" and follow Toyota's steps to offer hybrid options for all cars. EVs are still likely a decade away from being realistic alternative for everyday vehicles for the people. For now, they are still just play toys for the rich or a bad purchase option for those stretching to afford one. Save yourself $30k and just get an HR-V EX-L NAVI trim. Until EVs are comparable in price to their gas counterparts, it's a fool's game.

I’m sure it will sell well. It is a fine looking EV-CUV. But sadly… I feel that as more electric vehicles hit the market, gradually the ‘Soul’ of these automotive giants is dying. Honda, the world’s largest engine manufacturer (cars, motorcycles, marine, generators, etc. even jets!) should stick to what they shine at… especially with their cars. One word… VTEC! (Variable Valve Timing & Lift Electronic Control… well actually six words). That is why people fell in love with them. VTEC is in their Soul. This latest Prologue, albeit a ‘fine’ vehicle… in my opinion… is essentially Soulless. Thanks for the video.

Electric vehicles have 3 things to sort out, so they can sell:
    1. Price - it must be lower than conventional powered, even hybrid cars. The complexity is way less than a turbo gas engine, but the batteries are expensive for now.
    2. Range: must be comparable or more than a diesel powered or hybrid vehicle. Also it has to apply while towing, for trucks and transports.
    3. Charging speed must be under 5min, from 5% to 100%, so you don't lose time on the go on longer trips.
I'll add the 4th one: Electricity must be cheaper than fueling with gas or diesel. Because the more demand for electricity in the future, the more the price goes up.
When all those apply, I'll replace my Bi-Turbo V8 with one. Or at least I'll consider buying one.

Also, I was born in 1971 and live in Québec, would really really like you to provide the space figure in litres. I have a rough idea of what a cubic foot might be but boy I know what a litre is, and I think anyone who has bought a 2 litre of pop in N America understands how much 100 of those bottles are etc. Excellent review and man I hear you that the Ariya is a better choice but the Prologue has a certain something.

The Prologue and Blazer share quite a bit more than just the skateboard but Honda has done a great job turning this into a Honda. It's well executed and the Ultium platform is a good one. Those are big positives.
However, the fact that their are unique-to-Prologue parts and that this is is a one-off for Honda means that parts availability and Honda tech support in the future will likely be iffy. That would be enough for me to look elsewhere.

this is interesting. Its really Honda in name only. Sort of designed or rather developed by GM but manufactured by Honda. I have always been impressed by Honda's simplicity of design. If you really want a simple no glitzy car with a solid engine and great mileage then go for Honda. For years their CR-V was the what you called the pioneer of SUVs. The compact SUV.
But this is good. The engineering of GM with design of Honda.
It is very Hondaesque though. Simple in design with hopefully good utility and performance
