Just watched a ytube video where it indicated a 9 year old Teslas valued at over 120 grand new are being sold at auto auction for less than 10 grand. I just turned down a offer of 15 grand on my 11 year old Toyota Venza 4 cylinder gas suv. Not certain but it probably sold new at that time around 40 grand. These are quoted in Canadian dollars. No wonder the EV market has tanked and some of the newer player companies are declaring bankruptcy.

It's the Forester for me. One of the main reasons to move from a sedan to a crossover is a smoother ride and more distance between you and the bumpy road. Making these crossovers sports and handling oriented in their non performance trim is a downfall in my opinion.

Range, how long to charge on a long trip, where to be able to charge, also I have read how much material goes into the batteries, also danger of explosive fires, customers advised to leave cars outside away from the house. Id rather drive my 2005 ford taurus!

As of July 18, the 4k grant form BC, the car needs to be 50k or lower. Tesla had to drop the MSRP of the model Y by $1k so it can qualify. I presume you might see that on other vehicles that were compliant before at 55k. This is good news actually for consumers.

This current design needs to be scrapped and a true sedan developed. An entirely different and actual luxury sedan. I don't know if the designer here was trying too hard to produce an amazing Cadillac, but it didn't work. Cadillac should follow Bentley's example of what a luxury sedan is.

Interesting (and not at all surprising) that ventilated seats are not preferred up there. Here in Florida it's darn-near a requirement! :)

In NC having “leather” seats that aren’t ventilated is not fun. Cloth is a better option but it means you can’t get a lot of other nice features like a power liftgate.

On the last question, my must have is a heated steering wheel. My hands have gone numb when driving in the cold, even with gloves on, and that has stopped since we've had cars with heated steering wheels. When Audi doesn't even offer them on cars like the A3 and Q3, they are 100% off my shopping list.

i can almost guarantee there is NOTHING wrong with the car in the first place. im still at the beginning but he brought it in just because he thought he ran ove something? he didnt actually have any codes or warnings? this is a damn scam and he got screwed... shame on that dealer. that dealer needs to e put on blast.

Infotainment on dash is better for line of sight

We have had four Tiguans over the years. A ‘16 (front wheel drive six speed), ‘18 New style, ‘23 Comfortline R, and my old ‘14 Comfortline, oh and all are AWD. We love them. Very comfortable, really good mileage, literally no issues with our new ones re 18 and 23. Done some big trips and 25,000 kms in the 23 already. A proper transmission is awesome. We drive the Rogue and a few others and really, it was an easy decision! Just my opinion but also the best looking SUV in this segment by far! I would like proper pipes out the back as commented on here. The infotainment is very good in the Comfortline and I hope the dash does not go the root of the GTI re stuck on the dash! Comfortline is absolutely the way to go! BTW, also very good in snow!

The UX is also far lower to the ground than the Cross hybrid. Good for short and young people, worse for older and taller folks. The Corolla Cross interior is pretty basic in materials and styling, so if you want things luxe, go with the UX. The Cross XSE will get you most of the power-controlled stuff for less. Be prepared to pay the higher insurance and repair costs for the UX, and accept the lower resale percentage for something that isn't really doable for families or hauling much of anything. Fewer people want this car. For a reason.

You’re right about having to go out of state for a car. I live in Florida and tried to get a RAV4 Prime with a premium package from my local dealer. After four months I gave up and in one day I had one secured in Maryland. In seven months I’ve only seen two others in my town, and one of them had to go to NJ to get it. It seems it’s all about Florida not being a ZEV compliant state.
