    Hey Adam, it's been quite a ride. I got my Fisker about a week after you took delivery of yours and today (Memorial Day) I traded it (an Ultra) for a Blazer EV RS. They gave me $28,000 for the Fisker with no fuss and the Blazer had a $4,200 discount plus an Ultiam Promise Bonus cash of $7,500 bringing the cost down to $42,895 plus tax, license, etc versus the $53,000 for the Fisker.
    It was harder to get the On Star Ap. to work than it was to buy the car even with the sales lady's help and having to call On Star and go through multiple agents and repetitive steps to get it to work.
    The dealer said he would ship the Fisker to Orange County, CA rather than mess with it here in Paso Robles, CA.

      Congrats! The Blazer is an awesome choice, and it sounds like you got a great deal. I also had a very hard time setting up OnStar. Thanks so much for sharing this!

    I absolutely love your videos.
    You are clearly fair to every brand out there and state the facts.
    I'm from Norway and I own 2 EV's.
    One is a Peugeot e-2008 and the other one is Maxus euniq6.
    Yeah that Maxus is from China and I absolutely love it.
    Looking forward to more videos from you.🥳

    I think getting the Prologue over the Blazer EV was the right choice. Having more options for infotainment is always the way to go. And to be honest, I give the Prologue better styling points over the RS and base trim Blazer. Although, the Blazer makes a comeback with the SS styling, which isn't available at the time of this video.

    • @Aslash304
      @Aslash304  Před měsícem +1

      I also think the SS will be better looking, and obviously have more personality and performance. But the Prologue has CarPlay and is a good looking SUV, even among the ICE competitors. Excellent feedback!

    Great video. I am curious how knowledgeable the Honda techs are on this vehicle.
    FYI Honda is also building a battery plant and planning to make EVs in Ontario Canada. I am hopeful about their future products. I had a 2009 Civic Hybrid that was problem free. A friend’s kids are still driving it to this day with the original battery pack.

    Great video and great insight. How does the Prologue compare with the EV6? The Honda looks like a great option, but I do like some adrenaline when driving.

    • @Aslash304

    This video is like a bitter breakup song with Fisker. It’s a good video and I enjoyed the cathartic jabs at the ocean. I test drove a Blazer EV and it was all around okay. The only real bad feature was the back seat where you can feel the plastic on your lower back. I’d recommend everyone give the back seat a try. I was concerned about the horsepower but it seemed adequate, although I do wonder about passing while going uphill. I think of the Ultium group, if you aren’t trying to trade in a Fisker, the slightly smaller Equinox EV might be the way to go.

    • @Aslash304
      @Aslash304  Před měsícem +2

    • @Molishious
      @Molishious Před měsícem +2

      @@Aslash304 No, but when I went to test drive the Blazer the saleskid (spent most of the drive on his phone, fine with me really) said they’d be getting an Equinox in this week. I’m seeing people posting their purchases in Reddit now so I know some people are buying. I’m probably going for the 2025 Ioniq5 refresh, but since that’s not going to happen for a while I’m still checking out the options

    I'm curious about the Google navigation and how well it manages longer trips. In my Polestar it does a generally good job, but they do appear to be missing some stations and labels others incorrectly as non-compatiable. Also, it really overestimates consumption. I aim to get to a charger with around 10% and it invariably gets me there with at least 10% more than that.

    • @Aslash304
      @Aslash304  Před měsícem +1

      I took a short trip today, and I noticed the overconsumption bit. I will address this in an upcoming video. Thank you so much for your feedback!

    Would you think a pre-owned 2022 BMW IX50 would have been a better purchase if you had the OCEAN EXTREME/ONE? I'm considering it but HONDA seems a step down from the extreme in terms of performance. Of course the software seems WAAYYYYY better on Honda.

    • @Aslash304
      @Aslash304  Před měsícem

      BMW iX is a great vehicle, but still around $70k used. If you need 550 horsepower to get around, the Prologue won’t do it.

      @Molishious Před měsícem +4

      For some it will be having CarPlay. Others the styling. Lots of people will see Honda and think it’s a Honda. I like the screens a lot better on the Blazer but the I like the boring but pleasingly normal styling on the outside of the Prologue better. Maybe they’ll like the exciting name. “What will we call it? How about “Prologue” because this what we’re doing before we actually make an electric car. Fine, whatever. Who cares.”

    Is it possible you'd come out ahead financially had you kept the Ocean? Isn't your Ocean the core of your content and viewer interest?

    • @Aslash304
      @Aslash304  Před měsícem +1

      Yes. If nothing ever happened to the car, and I could continue to be guaranteed to get service, and my 12v didn’t die, making the car undrivable until a service tech recalibrated it, and I consistently had extensive and massively impactful news to break regarding the vehicle specifically, then yes. Right now, I can continue to report on the company without the risk of losing everything on the car. And, frankly, I was so embarrassed to drive it that I would eventually lose motivation to repot on it. There will be folks that leave the channel because they are Ocean owners specifically looking for information on the car, not the company. But, if I consistently report on the newest available EV to own, the audience should be broader than just Ocean Owners who require their reporting to be done by a current, not past owner. Then again, it could all come crashing down, and I would be forced to go back to detailing more cars.
