What is your favorite sunscreen? Let’s chat in the comments.
I’ve been using Beauty of Joseon Sunscreen Rice + Probiotics SPF 50 PA++++. It’s lightweight feeling, and sheer. Been wearing it for about a year.
I've been using cover fx sunscreen drops added to tinted moisturizer. I like their glow booster drops too.
Sweaty summer with humidity is on its way though so I'll switch to a gel moisturizer if any.
At 57, my skin is still oily and outside sweating I have a hard time finding sunscreen that works on face besides the thick body ones. Bummer is those sting eyes.
I'm going to try a gel sunscreen that's supposed to be more sweat proof and just add bronzer drops to tint it.
Per your recommendations, I have bought and loved the Missha sunscreen and the Canmake Mermaid one. LOVE both and they work well over my moisturizers. If I want a tinted moisturizer, I use the Australian Gold one as it is nice and neutral, not orangey, and affordable.
@@christinescott5002 I used to use the Mermaid Sunscreen, before I found Beauty of Joseon. It’s a nice sunscreen.
As an esthetician, just an FYI with whatever sunscreen you are using as your actual sun protection, make sure to use 1/4 tsp in order to get the actual protection. :-)
Thank You for showing the products with prices. So much easier than looking for them in the description 😍
would love a video on heat proof/summer make up.
I absolutely love the Rephr brushes!!!
I love the Alana Mitchell! I bought it after your video.❤
I bought several rephr brushes during their recent sale, such a good deal, and I have never used them but heard so many good things, can not wait to get them. I will keep you posted:)
I absolutely love your videos! You are the best! Thank you!!
Thanks so much Judy! You are so kind. Your support means the world to me.❤️
Great video, with detailed info. Thanks Laura 🙂😁
Great product recommendations and technique ideas....Thanks!
Love the whole look with all these products. The eye shadow is beautiful on you. The Vaseline lip products peek my curiosity! With cool undertones it’s difficult to find a subdued shade of red. As always, I learn so much from your videos!
Great video. I've been using the D'ablo spray for a while and love it. I use it before my skincare and makeup and then after as a setting spray. It just melts any powder I've used together with the rest of my makeup so I do not end up with any cakiness.
Thanks for using the Elf halo blush. I was curious. It looks very nice on you.
Thanks Laura Rae, I just loved all the make up products, and those blushes thanks ,have a lovely weekend 🤗❤️❤️
You too! I hope you have a fun and relaxing weekend!❤️
Mineral fusion also has an SPF formula in a cylinder/ brush powder for like 15 bucks. Alot cheaper and just as effective.....🌞😁
Trying to see how the colors run on this Catrice? Are you a neutral, warm or a cool tone in general??!
If you did a shade match "without" the tinted sunscreen, what colors in the winter and summer do you usually go with??!
Ty. Great video, will buy some products you mentioned❤.
Great video! I do wear sunscreen daily and it can be a challenge when I wear makeup. I LOVE the purple eyeshadow on you! Really brings out green in your eyes. Also, I love my Rephr brushes. So soft, and they hold up really well over time. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend! ❤😊
Thank you so much Stacy. I have fallen back in love with purple eyeshadow. Hope you have a beautiful week!❤️
Hi Laura, Love your look today, and the purple eye shadow looks so nice, brings out your eye color. Glad you decided to try it, one of my favorite colors to wear. I use rephr brushes, really like them, and use I the BK Beauty Brushes too. I’ll be checking out all the products. Thanks, and have a nice weekend ! ☺️💜☺️
Thanks so much Debbie! My love for purple shadows has been rekindled. I also love the BK Beauty brushes. Hope you have a beautiful weekend!❤️❤️
Your look is so very pretty today:)
This is a fabulous look you have on today. The straight hair and perfect makeup colors and application make you look even younger than usual. (That's a compliment.)
Looks like she may have had some type of procedure
Btw.. love love your hair style! It looks amazing on you!
Thank you so much!❤️
Wow Laura, you looked gorgeous before applying products! The eyeshadow looks great too. I would love if my skin looked as great as yours. I’m dealing with two cryotherapy lesions from skin cancers on my face and can’t wear makeup. Two stitches & black eye from a biopsy below my eyebrow. I’m a hot mess and not going anywhere for a while. I love your channel and still have to watch! Happy dancing!❤
God's speed to healing❤🙏😇
@@elcehl Awh, thank you so much! 😊
Lisa.. I am so sorry you are going through all of this. I hope everything heals quickly.I will be thinking of you.❤️
@@LauraRaeBeauty thank you so much!
Good morning Laura! I'm currently using no.7 daily moisturizer with 30 spf under foundation...problem is, it pills up😢 Thank you for your recommendations and providing links! Have a fabulous weekend!❤
I am loving the DRMTLGY universal tinted spf 46.
I’ve learned so much from this video. I use the D’Alba and I have oily skin still at 68! I love it but never thought to apply it with sponge nor did I know it can also be a primer! Your skin looks radiant with nothing on it! Your skincare regime is top notch! I’ve had no luck with sunscreen tried tons, makes my skin breakout and messes up my foundation big time.
Another great video, thanks for all your time, effort and research! Love that you find affordable dupes, even though I can afford CT it’s a lot of hype and so overpriced!
It looked better before all these products…. It ended up a flat, cakey mess… there was no ‘dew’ or anything like that-she covered up anything the elf halo wand did!!! Just waaayy tooo powdery!!!
That’s the beauty of makeup, you can stop and any point when you are happy with the look. I wanted to show a complete look for those that like powder and need the makeup to last all day. After a few minutes, the powder melted into the skin and wasn’t cakey. The good news is, it stayed and looked nice through 12 hours at work.❤️
I really enjoy finding affordable options that work. I have struggled finding sunscreen too. I am so thankful to have found a few that work.❤️
My favorite for winter and dry skin indoor all day use is the Sun Bum tinted SPF 30. It's all mineral moisturizing but at the same time dries down with a matte finish. I don't use it in the summer though it's paler in color and doesn't absorb my oils as well as the Australian Gold tinted SPF 50 BB cream. Plus I use spf 50 in the summer. That one also dries down matte but is more pink in color. I like it for my oily skin/acne skin. It's so affordable, I love it alone with powder or you can put foundation over it. It's not good for dry skin though
I would agree. Australian gold brand SPF is an unsung hero. A real gem in skincare. With a nice tint of color. Great choice 👏😁
@@AMDG_-nk2dp thanks! Ironically the fair to light shade is dark enough that it probably doesn't work for fair skin tones but then they can use just untinted white mineral sunscreens anyway. Plus the price point of the Australian Gold is unbeatable. And the sun protection is top-notch. It's so waterproof you can shower or swim and it doesn't come off. It has to be removed with an oil cleanser at the end of the night
I will have to try the Australian Gold again. I have used it in the past, but I thought it was too orange on me. I will try the fair shade.❤️
@@LauraRaeBeauty the medium was too orange on me too. If the fair is too pink, I use a yellow powder to neutralize it. It works great on hands too. No transfer
@@LauraRaeBeauty That sunscreen is a vital part of my day. Great feel, color, and lasting power!
I love the sunscreen and bronzer. Thank you for recommending such great products to try . Do you know if you get credit for items when we put them on wish list and buy them later? I want you to get the credit .😊❤️
Alba botanicals is also great skincare products brand......🌞
I’m using DRMTLGY but I don’t know if it’s my favorite because I haven’t tried that many!🥰
Hi Laura Rae! What makeup sponge do you use ?
I use the StansOut sponge.❤️
I did get the Alana Mitchell sunscreen and liked it but I think I like the DRMTLGY tinted sunscreen better and it is about 10 dollars less.
I am curious about what you liked better? I have purchased the DRMTLGY before but felt like I didn’t get enough coverage from it. Maybe I need to order again so I can test them side by side.❤️
@@LauraRaeBeauty I am not sure which I liked better, I did the DRMTLGY today and I will try the Alana tomorrow and get back to you:) I know for certain the Australian Gold tinted face was far too drying on my skin, even over moisturizer. Has anyone tried it?
I absolutely love the Refer brushes. I have the eye kit, the basic kit, and I love them so much that I buy one every time they are on sale. You can get them at a discount and all you have to do is leave a review. I don’t use any other brushes.
Thank you for sharing this. I am so impressed too. It seems to make my eyeshadow look prettier. ❤️
DRMTLGY is a tinted moisturizer spf46, mineral or chemical and I usually prefer the mineral:) I am still trying to find my holy grail sunscreen.
Undefined R&R sun serum. A little pricey but it's nice
What grade do you teach and what time must you get up to do the filming before work?!😂 I teach fifth and barely get in on time everyday doing just some basics to get ready!🥵
I am teaching third grade this year. Most of my career I have taught second, third or fourth grade. I wake up at 3:45 AM every morning. Thank goodness I have always been a morning person. Hope you are having a great school year. Summer will be here before we know it!❤️
@@LauraRaeBeauty I wish I was a morning person! 3:45?! I don’t know how you do it! I’ve taught first, second, fifth and computers K-5. My class this year started out great, but hormones are kicking in. They are done. 3 more years and I’ll be too! Retirement here I come!
Thanks for all the great tips! I’ve purchased several things you have recommended. I’m 51 now and transitioning to makeup for mature skin has been mind boggling. You’ve helped a bunch! Once a teacher, always a teacher!♥️
revlon is good =yes the lash is the best
How old are you if you don't mind me askin? You look great!
In July I will be 59.❤️
@@LauraRaeBeauty me too❤
This would be way too much product on my face if I used all of the products mentioned. I also have oilier skin though.
I have 3 or 4 Rephr brushes, namely the ones supposedly good for hooded eyes. The brushes are just meh. The bristles are not soft.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us.❤️
I think there should be a line of Drug Store makeup specifically designed for Men. Makeup that meets the needs of Men and it could be stocked in the Mens section where the Mens toiletries are. Why not? .
