- Today my FPV drone was attacked by angry bird! Probably hawk...
In this video you can see whole action with bird attack and rescue mission.
Dji Avata survived! 😳
Hawk just damaged battery with the claws!

BRO!! Same thing, I was bout to fly at a local university with my avata. And I saw some Hawks in the vicinity, I packed up and left lol!!
They own the sky... But its so nice to fly with them. Sometimes like a victim 😁
in fact it's possible to scare them by simply raisinf trottle to instant get altitude they can't do that and that make them affraid and they usually leave ( may not work with the d*ldo controller ) @@greGWAS
wow that hawk thought it had an easy meal.. i guess one of his talons got cut with the blades.. yikes.. cool video and awesome you found it and went straight back to flying.. i was flying my mini 3 pro and i looked up and spotted a hawk circling mine.. i brought it down quickly.. i didn't want to take the chance it would hit it.. 🙂👍

It's great that you got your drone back, but honestly, I hope the hawk isn't too injured. They're living creatures that feel pain and just trying to survive in a hostile world. He might have thought you were a threat to his nest.
Thanks! You know, I love nature and animals. Forest is my second home... I am so sorry for that bird but I have look around everywhere for about half hour and didnt find any more blood or something. I think he got just small scratch. Once incidently my fingers went to spin Avata props and nothing happen. Just a bit blood and pain. Avata turn off props after 1 sec when get blocked. And Hawk is realy strong! He make few holes in Avata. I will show that in next video. Im sure he is fine now and still hunting ❤
My drone got attacked by a hawk too. He realized at the very last minute it was not an other bird and left.
Luckily the drone camera recorded the whole attack.

Me too. Drone is just a thing and my lovely BIRD friend is alive. Everything is ok with him. I saw him many times now there. He is the bigger and older Hawk in area. I am not mad on him. I feel a bit shame... Last weekend I saw him hunting there. He is so fu...ing big!! 😳
