- I always knew Lowlight was a legend among all the Arknights community but I never knew why exactly this was the case so I started researching.
Lowlight is an amazing person Human being and we can be blessed that someone like this made Arknights what it is today!

In a similar vein, Yu Zhong from Sunborn/MICA also has the community moniker of "Producer who just collabs with whatever they are interested in". Whilst there is speculation is out on *why* they separated, it is currently evident that HG and MICA will not cross paths
only one being is able to cosplay andreana and causally pull off the most accurate gnosis impression known to man

It's really impressive on how many artists in Arknights that also drew Touhou art including Namie
Everyone goes through a 2hou phase in doujin/artist circles, while not everyone play the games, both the music and characters are really marketable, and ZUN doesn't really care much when independent artist use his work
Touhou is mad popular, especially among anime/general subculture artists, so it's no surprise
No wonder some are very familiar

I think its quite telling that all of Arknights's top level creators are all artists
but not at all surprising. the art is what drew me to the game. and i've never really player tower defense. but i love this game and most especially the art. of the UI, the mats, everything.
@@Raptchursame, i only played pvz before and i don't even know arknights is a tower defense game. But the art is so good i can't help but try, never regret it
Lowlight is also a certified gamer, the reason why we got big collabs such as R6S, Monster Hunter and Destiny 2, it's because that those were his favorite games and that is pretty cool!!!!

I remember when I was still in the Pixiv Fantasia community and saw Kal’tsit, it was cool and I didn’t think much of it. There is no words to describe the feeling that I felt when I came to that one big realization about my currently most beloved game.
Lowlight is the number 1 arknights operator who can beat the whole seaborn by himself
I really wish for Ex Astris and Arknights: Endfield to be a huge hit, so Hypergryph can be launched sky high and many people will know how passionate and amazing this game developer is.

@@mylesobrien7477 Hypergryph's premium / paid game (non-gacha and not a live service). Still in development, already held an offline and closed playtest.
As much of an absolute LEGEND lowlight is, I think it'd also be interesting to get a spotlight on the unsung heroes who work to make the game a reality.
But if we're talking big names, BaoUner would be my next choice. Arknights would not be the same without its in-game music, and from what I hear BaoUner is one of the main reasons Arknights sounds so GOOD.

Well times really flies, its seem 3/4 years of Arknight and its change so many thung n good development, anyway thanks dev that make this wonderful game, from art to music and the gameplay all are tip top.
I just want to say thank you to lowlight and all those who helped in developing and publishing arknights. Definitely felt the passion flowing from this game.

Love this content my dude, been a huge fan of Lowlight but never knew too much about him aside from him creating W for GFL which was crazy to me. Gotta say seeing him edited in a son near the end of the video was hilarious. Makes me wonder if this was for his coworkers to see if that were them cause if it was that be a flipping blast to watch for a work dinner or something.

A 10 minutes video about Lowlight is enough, but if it's about Hypergryph and Arknights then it needs to be 6 times longer. cuz you will also have to include music, plot, worldbuilding, game play mechanics and UI&PV.

GFL fan here. There’s a lot to note about Lowlight and Yostar’s involvement in the game. Of course Lowlight worked with Yuzhong on Codename: Bakery Girl and Girls Frontline to the extent that GFL would go on to heavily influence Arknights UI and character design. He also wrote the first six chapters of GFL’s story before he left Sunborn after their drama with Yostar resulted in the game being called Dolls Frontline in Japan.
Not to sound heretical, but the first six chapters are also considered the weakest part of GFL’s story and are believed to be a non-insignificant reason why most adaptations of the story have failed miserably.
The conspiratorial part of me says this was intentional. Leave your current company to start your own after having deliberately put little effort into their product so they can’t challenge your new product when you’re taken in by the company that just copyright-fucked them. Not a bad plan.
The one thing Lowlight and Yostar didn’t account for was Yuzhong’s sheer willpower and Sunborn’s ability to subsist entirely on second hand Ferraris and the EOS announcements of other gacha games.
Also Codename Bakery Girl is getting a remake and you can currently download the demo on Steam. Do it, it’s good.
You kinda got the whole thing upside down. Why Yostar exists as today is exactly because Yuzhong kicked its founder, Yao Meng's team out of Sunburn, the man sitting next to him in 3:06, who used to sleep in the same double-deck bed with him. GFL UI influence Arknights UI? Both are Lowlight's UI designs, there's no one influencing another.
Arknights earlt chapter also considered the weakest part of the story
So maybe that just lowlight problem lol
