Visit www.doomsdaydiesel.net for complete adapter kits! In depth look at the wiring needs of the OM617 and what can be removed from the Toyota Pickup/4Runner
Hi Joe, Glad to see this one. You did forget to show what the completed Ford 7.3 down pipe looks like. I'll keep checking your website for updates. If possible could you update your parts list? Makes the conversion easier when you have the parts on hand and don't have to wait for orders to arrive.
Bought a truck someone else swapped. I’m going thru it un-halfassing some things. Wiring is a huge pain, as the man didn’t follow your ideas. Connections look like someone gave a kid a roll of e tape.
Very informative and detailed info for swaps. Much thanks.

Would love to see a Jeep XJ in depth swap video series.
Starting the swap but I’m unsure if I’ll need to get the 22r wiring my Toyota was originally diesel 2lt should wiring be the same?
Hello 👋🏽 joe , I’m wondering if you got to finish this project? Just watch all your videos 👍🏾 now you a pro !
Joe Peterson awesome 👏🏽 I’ll be waiting on the next video !! Thanks for the reply.
Hey Joe, how did you go about wiring the mph sensor? Did you just go straight to the gauge itself?
Thanks
Hey man, where are you from?
It would be cool if you did a 22r version of the video 🤙🏼
This is a 22R truck
Hey Joe, do you have a video or any information on what wires to pull for this swap on a 3.0 truck?
They can all go besides the starter and A/C wires. Much easier than a 22R
@@doomsdaydiesel okay awesome, what about sensors? Just save the transmission Sensors and the 4x4 and reverse indicator? Anything else I need to keep?
@@codyjarmin5980 the non-engine related stuff is all up to you
great vid.. what radiator did you use?
I'd like to know too
I used a 1994 one all aluminum, had to redrill to clear the hood
