A great deer hunting property is about more than having great food plots and stand sites. Having the best deer habitat doesn't mean it's a great hunting property. Discover what you might be missing or what features may need to be tweaked on your property with a free review of your hunting property.
Your list is spot on! The amount of stress deer feel from hunting pressure is such a huge contributing factor in influencing their movement, or lack of movement. Great Video and good luck this habitat season!
Another great land Management and deer education video, thanks!
Excellent teaching..I am blessed- I have about all these Good features--over hunting- GOOD WORD !!
Lots of good information sounds like a winner thanks for taking the time to post this
Your intro was right on the money. 🤣 Great video and great idea. I only wish I had property of my own to have someone like you or Jeff Sturgis come out and evaluate it. Your instructional videos sure do help though. Thanks and good luck.
Thanks Don

Here in Big woods Canada. I've never seen a deer use hinge cut tree's as bedding areas. :(
Tried water holes..
Tried Food plots.
Hanging licking sticks.
Then I talked to a Local DNR Biologist.
Tagged deer here in my Area. Deer move almost 20miles to 60 miles to deer yards for winter cover. We get 17 feet of snow each year.
Moose Also.
JOYS Of Big Country Way up North :)
Us mere mortals who can’t afford land are stuck with public or getting permission at small properties nothing we can do we get what we get
This video is public land czcams.com/video/TiExRYqURfY/video.html
@@SeeMoreBucks public land here is terrible
No food no terrain change it’s all surrounded by private land that’s pressured and everyone amd they’re mother hunts public land here it’s impossible to shoot anything. Over 100” in my area and it’s sad
@@SeeMoreBucks I’ve been hard core bowhunting Ohio here for 23 years only killed one big buck all we see are 1.5 yr olds I do the best I can on my part but I can’t help the land or control what others do no one lets deer walk and we are in heavey amish country to boot I do not own land but I have access to private land
Randy - this is good stuff . But you need to diversify. Come to Texas and see some major differences. !
I would love to check out Texas but I'm already in 19 states
Yeah - Well you’re in the same places 650 people are doin the same Bs. Come round out you portfolio! 🤪
When will there be openings in the calendar?
Sometime in June
Do you also help with leased properties? Just picked up a great lease in a different state and I’m new to whitetail hunting. I’m from the west so elk and mule deer are my forte. But don’t won’t to ruin the property I’m leasing and would like to know how to hunt it.
Yes I create hunting strategies for leased properties as well
Where’s the link below? Nothing popped up I’m interested in 2021.
Never mind I found it. I sent you an email. Thanks for all that you do!! Good luck this fall
If you want to kill big bucks get Randy to draw up a habitat plan!
Randy ... I scheduled a property review thru the link above with you yesterday, 3/25/2020 at 10:00 ... cleared my schedule and then nothing, NADA, no email, no texts, no review.
Sorry Jeff! A different Jeff had to reschedule and I moved your call instead. I just sent you an email with some times for today.
75 acres Catskills N.Y?
Whoever the tree feller is for the thumbnail is lucky to be alive
Right 😂
That's intentional it's called a hinge cut, look it up. It is commonly used to help improve deer habitats.
@@luauboi that might be intentional, but it sure is dangerous. Especially if you’re not familiar with the properties of different tree species. You might want to look up tree felling barber chair. If you are making cuts like this it could save your life. There are much safer ways to put a tree on the ground while keeping it on the stump
how much do you charge for boots on ground property assessment? do you have a link to website?
