Hey guys, do you think Valve is ever going to organise themselves against cheating? I totally love CS, but cannot bear the stress caused by cheaters, so I’m already organising myself moving to Valorant and Fortnite
Bro why are so many fucking idiots in this game. Cheating IS DEAD and there's only a few idiots cheating to try to get high rank in premier. Valve doesn't need to do anything when there's 0.2% of people out of the average 1 million cheating. This is coming from the cheating scene.
I for one think they're actually working on anti-cheat behind the scenes. As a long time Linux user, looking at the kind of stuff they've been working on (compatibility wise), I've noticed an uptake in the work that's been going on WRT the anti-cheat clients like EAC and battleEye. I'm not suggesting they're going to integrate these AC solutions into CS2 (although it's possible they might become a part of the approach), it does suggest that someone (or some team) is looking at anti-cheat solutions that exist, and how to make those run on both Windows and SteamOS/Linux. Most people here may not care, but CS2, just like CS:GO, was sold as running natively on Windows and Linux. A kernel-level AC is not as easy to implement for both systems alike (which incidentally is why valorant does not run on Linux or MacOS). The whole idea that a kernel-level AC is absolutely required to stop the cheating problem is, honestly, false. It helps fend off scripting exploits, and perhaps some cheats that take advantage of, say, a mouse or keyboard driver for trigger/aim bot stuff. That being said, almost all cheats (including free ones) are ring 0 anyways. I genuinely believe that Valorant's AC has been quite good marketing not just for Valorant, but for the cheat-makers. The notion that it's so incredibly hard to write a cheat for Valorant is quite laughable, really (they had cheats out during Valorant's beta all the same). The more people believe vanguard is somehow making it 1,000 times harder to cheat, the more cheaters without the skills or know-how will be willing to fork out money to cheat. That's probably what makes Vanguard most effective in its job: it's making cheating more expensive, not all that much harder. Another aspect that makes Valorant less infested with cheaters is the fact that the underlying unreal engine is less customisable (from the outside looking in), and let's be honest: most cheats are built-in as gameplay mechanics (walls, bhops, recoil-less weapons, ...). I also wouldn't be surprised that, because Valorant is essentially property of a Chinese owned company, and quite a lot of cheats are being made in China (at least so I've been told), there are some more severe repercussions for cheat vendors, and I wouldn't at all be surprised if Riot (or their parent company) occasionally buys cheats themselves, just to reverse engineer them, and detect them. The latter is something that does require an invasive AC. Anyways, I'll stop rambling now. I, too, love CS, and I too, am absolutely fed-up with the cheating. I'm personally convinced it's gotten worse in CS2. Just in case anyone wonders: yes, I do know a thing or 2 about how cheats work, but I haven't cheated myself. I'm just a software engineer, and I've been dabbling in some kernel module development recently. I've looked at some of the source code of cheats out of curiosity. Owing to the nature of my work, I suppose, I really don't like the idea of an invasive AC, but I understand why people are asking for it. I just think people shouldn't expect the problem to be fixed just with this bit of invasive software that always runs in the background.

1 month of this video and still not vac 😢
23 years playing and the problem still exists. I hope using AI can finally help but I'm skeptical..
Ai will be used in cheats. It will never get sorted and will only get worse. Me and my mates gave up a few years back after preserving for long enough
bro like 2 mins in you know he's cheating
Very nice valve .... 04/02/24 this profile still alive
How complete dogshit must valves anti cheat be if it can't even detect this. Surely its not that hard to detecting cheating like this?
the fact the game was so close to
The funny thing is that account is have yet to be banned. VALVE WTF ARE YOU DOING
Obviously left clicked with that first r8 kill. He just knew when to hold down because he's walling.
This guy is now in Apex
97% HS while aiming at toe level is wild lmaoo
What's going on with the knife inspects?
side note, this dude is funny af
🤣
He just had a better gaming chair.
litteraly aimboting his way around and anticheat "there is nothing to see here"
he uses the r8 beccause if someone holds a corner u can still one tap them with it lol
Dude is SUPER cheating and its still not banned, thats cs2 for ya.
I managed to avoid ALL cheaters and Russians in both premier and FaceIt for the past month. Wanna know my trick? Sold my computer on eBay. Feels fkn great👑
This is why I stopped grinding premier, after I hit 19k I started playing against so weird ass players. They weren’t as obvious as this guy but they definitely knew things that they shouldn’t have like where I was when I never made any noise and the angle was already clear in their eyes. They need to have a better anti cheat
imagine being the permavirgins that don't kick blatant cheaters
The fact that this guy is not even being detected by the AI..... how in gods world.....
The ai is still learning. Vac live isnt on yet. They’re only using normal vac while live is learning
Im pretty sure if he had only wh he would have been absolutely rekt by cactus and kmmt
so annoying to play this game with so many cheaters out there.
09/03/24 and this guy still not banned, unbelievable...
"41 kills, 97% HS"
He wanted me to find out if he was cheating against him. ok....
and valve just sits there and allows shit like this to happen. i reported many cheaters who where obviously hacking like this guy, who clearly had walls and gave a f. no one has been banned yet, thx gaben.
LOL, no dude above nova would walk looking at the ground. So blatant and yet no VAC, what a shame.
He is "suspect" if u suspect him. He is only suspicious if he suspects anyone else for something
this guy is boosting someone in that team a 100%.
if a recall, he was actually solo queuing, we asked the other team to kick and they did not want to since 2 players lost prior to this game. Unfortunate circumstances.
@@endzocs5816 so they would rather win with cheater, than lost with honour? what a scumback players on high elo.
@EIDAMKOOOO we beat one of them 1 game prior so he did not care about using a cheater to win. Shameless
How the fuck is he not banned straight away? Valve what the hell?
crazy hes not banned still
Cheating has been an all time high ever since cs2 came out. I used to be MVP every 2-3 matches. I no longer play competitive because of this and switch to casual. Now they're crowding that place too. cs2 is infested with cheaters. I also have a theory cheat where the hit box of your character is misaligned making you miss even if you hit dead center.
do this a series bro
The snapping is so clear, ofc he cheats.
Dam that's brutal valve needs to straight up start deleting steam accounts and any other accounts that log in from the same PC.
thx for the steam link, reported and shared it to my friends to report. so many cheater.. this game is ruined
his teammates see that he was hacking but they didnt kicked him because they care more about Points, but they cry if they play against one ...smh
so many hackers daily once you hit 18k plus. valve really not giving a fuck is frustrating
yeah thanks for the real cs experiences
Its blatently obvious that Valve has no interest in preventing cheaters from playing, some of the most expensive inventories belong to bonafide cheaters.
i saw an aimbot in a dust game that was just like the first revolver shot but he had headshot three ppl at once with the crosshair moving to three peoples heads killing them in less than a second his own team kicked him right after
He has his aimlock and trigger bot configured to CTRL, Notice how he crouches every time he kills someone
