It sucks to never know if a death was your fault. I'm glad we can review demos again, but for a while there I felt lost. One game I'd be popping off and drop 30, the next I'd be lucky for 12. That's not to say it was all cheaters, but if I can't pinpoint my own weaknesses when I'm unfairly killed. IF they get the cheaters under control, this game could be magic.

To catch a greater portion of cheaters who have access to better developers, they can start by hiring cheat developers to help write them anti cheat measures like EVERYBODY ELSE does

what can I say, great game, playing against this shit all the time and they go unpunished, like people wanted 2 things from CS2, 128 tickrate and Anticheat and we have neither and there is even more cheaters than was in csgo
Well you cant blame them, valve literally told the world (cant find the post now) that their anti cheat is having issues and not working as intended and that overwatch is being replaced by AI AC.... Everyone knows reports are useless because overwatch has been removed (except for grief, which atm is being abused even more than it was in csgo because all the legits just auto report every1 because theres always atleast 1 cheater in every game now)
i have a cheater in my friendlist since 2017 and he is still cheating his ass off. No Vac Ban yet. I used to watch like daily his games when he was online via the watch-option ingame... Its disgusting.
climbed from 1k to 13k in a few weeks, can confidently say that cheaters become alot more prominent when you get to 10k. cheaters in over 50% of my games.

Players who are better than their elo in mechanics and game sense but dont remember to use them/panic/lose focus easily (get emotional over bad plays by teammates or themselves or over good plays by enemies and thus lose focus) will look exactly like a noob player who just gets insane plays sometimes but other times do dumb shit silvers are known for. Because they are a great player who cant consistantly use their skills (you can argue this makes them not a great player, sure, but they still have the capacity to once in a while make a great play, that doesnt originate from pure luck and thus can play consistently for one match way above their average skill level and then again bring back the average level when playing badly in other matches.)
So I highly doubt you are correct with that 50% cheaters part, unless you have verified that in over 50% of the games there was someone banned or blatantly using aimlock or wallhack in the demo. Since demos havent been on for long, maybe thats not relevant but to clarify, what they here called wall hack is not blatant enough. I want to see player tracking through walls middle of the head for 10 seconds straight while moving in random directions without any sound cues. I want to see 10 consistant middle of the head instant flicks from far away in a row. If the playing cant be described with any of those, the player is as good as any other player at that elo anyways, so shouldnt really matter but thats a whole another thing.

@@iarmycombo5659 im gonna call the 1 badge 100-300 hours with a 80% HS rate and a 100ms reaction that can destroy you while YOU are the one swinging and not even having time to react,i get prefiring i do it too but when its literally every time i swing the same person it happens,and its like they are undefeatable. its just not realistic to say they are not cheating. if they were actually that good they wouldnt be around 10k elo.
and these kinds of players are in every match ive played in premier aside from 1,ive only played around 15 or so because its so bad. usually 1 or 2 possibly on both teams, sometimes literal just HVH from both sides. premier is horrible right now.

Oh I know it can never be stopped but a timely ban that doesn't take months would be nice. I was once qued against a hacker in prime that was full on using airlock through the wall killing everyone with the auto, download the demo and there was no doubt he was hacking, he didn't get banned for almost 3 months, he stacked up almost an additional 300 hours before the ban hammer came down.

There's very little more rewarding than playing a tough game of CS and knowing it was a fair fight, but there is little more demoralizing than playing against cheaters and getting your ass whipped by a player that is clearly cheating and there is almost nothing your team can do about it. Please Valve, do something.

1. Steam already has a CCP backdoor, Valve isn't stupid to create a separate executable for China.
2. Blame Valve for not fixing any bugs, Valorant, so far, I haven't yet to encounter a cheater.

I have went to 9999 6 times already. Now with demos back out, I been looking at some suspicious players and I would say 8/10 times, they are cheating. It's not just the enemy players but people on my team too if I solo/duo.
Look at the global leaderboard, so may cheaters on there and I've matched plenty walhackers while queueing with friends at 5k ELO
@@hattemalhaar3135 There are alot of cheaters in 4-5k elo because of low trust factor. They get boosted and can only get some much elo for the wins. The whole system is busted and I could confidently say that it's much worst than CSGO ever was in the 12 years.
i got placed in 2000 elo and now im 10k. When climbing i didnt notice any effy players until 8k+ when i started noticing some weird ass players. If i could i would rather smurf in 2k elo than play in 10k where cheaters will toggle on and off in a match.

The blatant cheaters are ez to identify, the good players turning on/off wallhack or even low % softaim are hard af in my opinion
ahhh kinda but not really. Most of them have better reaction time than pro plays when picking, because they are cheating... They will pick looking at you in an off angle 90% of the time.
To catch some of them, pretend you are going to pick while running and stop before you do. It never fails to catch a wallhacker.
@@Jus7here those are still bad players , if a good player is cheating thats much harder to notice, it could be as simple as having radar , or 0,5 fov aimbot ( which is really low ). They can easily get away with them if they are not totally stupid.

They didn’t play for a few days and lost a bunch of rating. The one that was #1 lost 15k rating for not playing for 8 days

Yesterday I played some wigman, my teamate who was hacking was acusing the other hacker from the enemy of hacking entire game. both of them was doing prefires and watching trough walls
I'm yet to play competitive in cs2, I'll wait until it's a bit more playable, and obviously these kinds of shenanigans aren't very encouraging either.

2 weeks later and none of them are banned. Most have played today. VAC truly sucks.
same in mm. now that the replays are back it is quite clear. and also you can see it in stats. 2 out of 5 games we played had people with WH and in one occasion a guy decided aimlock would be good. one idiot tried to hit me though vents/AC on vertigo. the 2 games where we can't see any cheaters were against a lot better players so we (the casuals) got defeated. and the difference between losing against much better players and cheater is so obvious. also i did not mind to lose against them. it was in both cases a good game and good effort by us. i learned a lot from those two games. but i hate the games with cheaters.

I really wanted CS2 to have good matchmaking but unfortunately I can only really play Faceit. I canceled my Faceit when CS2 came out but the higher elos are bullshit and hackers every other game practically

I have 14k hours on my main alone, every single match I play is cheaters vs cheaters. When I join a DM and spectate it's always 90+% cheaters.

As a 10 year vet in csgo (im old af now) It pains me to say Valve doesn't care unless it makes them look bad in the publics eye VS the communities eyes. All of those profiles have been playing recently and no bans or nothing have occurred.

Why is it that cheating always multiplies at weekends? I play 3-4 hours a day at nights and in weekends there seems to be REALLY hardcore grinders or just cheaters on every game I play.

the problem for me is not that valve wants to move away from Faceit the problem is how they are doing it. I saw one video of one Montenegrian or Serbian ANti-cheat developer , he made anti-cheat for Valorant and in this interview he said it is not cheap to battle cheaters and that could be the reason why Valve does not pay somebody like him to make proper anti-cheat for them.
It would drain Valve's hard earned cash if they ban cheaters or hunt em manually piece by piece lfmao.

almost 2 months later and none of them has been banned, 4 of them turned comments off on their profile, Zack looks like it's possible his account was stolen at the time and he got it back after, also possible he was just trying them out because of curiosity

It's definitely True that there's a lot more cheaters on high ranks. But honestly, CS2 is messed up too. I've hit Headshots when i didn't even have the aim on the enemy, much less the Head. Such stuff needs to be fixed first to determine Cheaters correctly. Sometimes people will be having a Good Day or a Lucky Game. I've both been that and been against such players. Gotta be pretty good to vote ban Cheaters.

Hey John, this guy Lowenbrau and Winner play together often and it was obvious both are cheating. I found Makima suspicious for various reasons you didn't mention but obviously not as blatant as the other 2.
Lowenbrau has an account with +10K hours and only 1 game. The most stupid thing which makes it obvious he bought it is that that account only has 1 year and 11 months, meaning he'd have to at least play 15 hours every single day for 2 years. Yet has only 21 official matches registered on that account, out of which 5 were found to have friend of his cheating and VAC banned (the player is not present on this match)
Lately he's been stacking with a group of 5 (again not the players of this match), and it's pretty likely they all cheat.
That said I can assure you you'd get back the -114 ELO you lost in that match as he's too dumb and decided it was a good idea to cheat when matched against other streammers and top rankers like Fl0m and JoJo, and being too conspicuous (He still lost while cheating against them by the way)
