      not always its an extra callout the airline pays for same with the 70, 60 not something you typically hear

      @@thomasagsmith123well pretty much yes always, because if they don’t pay for it, it still can be a smooth touchdown but it is sufficient for it to be smooth when you hear5. Difference between sufficient and neccessary.

      i think it’s because there is a trigger on the side stick with acts as a PTT

    Why are both pilots hands on the joystick? In all the other videos I have seen only the person responsible for land or taking off hands are on the control.

      It’s so the other pilot can take control from the other pilot instantly in case of some failure (side stick fault). In this case, the Captain is the pilot flying. If his side stick were to suddenly fail, the First Officer who’s pilot monitoring, could immediate take control and fly the aircraft (after pressing their take over push button). This is SOP in most airlines that fly the Airbus type.
