Always planning mischief lol. He just doesn’t get that he can’t break through all the fences to play with every dog on the street. He will always come back but why can’t he play first!
Beautiful magical space, with secrets to reveal. Love to see the journey Candy you embark on, one trowel, one cut at a time. Gardens teaches us to let go and let nature do it's thing without interference, sometimes freedom I guess. Take it one piece at a time, as Next year you will so need this space as changes appear in your life. I am with you change is not easy, sending you a hug. ❤

Wow! I loved this video my darling. I think the Magic Garden has become The Enchanted Forest. I believe magic folk are living amongst the brambles; hence the moving of the gnomes. I’ve always been astounded by your strength and determination when taking on any project and to hear your laughter as you roam around taking it all in your stride is priceless. When you said job for today, I thought yeah mine would be go back in the house and lock the door 😂😂 Lessons from this video; life finds a way, life brings beautiful flowers along with the prickly brambles and magic is everywhere.

I love garden videos!! They always remind me to get back outside and ground myself in real life. Also how can one not want to see more plants!? And yes please give yourself grace, it sounds like your parenting workload has been like 2 extra full time jobs. Not having downtime between it all can be so dysregulating, on top of the actual anxiety involved.

Congratulations to Tilly!! It's difficult to do anything when you have a deadline to meet regarding your kids. Then we must hyperfocus on the issue at hand for our kids. Priorities are in place. The garden is next. Thank you for sharing your garden and your thoughts, Candy!

I had to face facts and accept that I just wasn't able to maintain my garden without help so I understand your struggle but you are doing a wonderful job at being a steward to your nature spaces

My garden gnomes are frequently stolen by the squirrels and/or the wind. I set up little nature altars wherever they end up in the yard - even if it's 50 feet from where I wanted them. :)

It's beautiful, Candy! It's 'wilding' while you're busy with other responsibilities. Seems quite happy to grow on its own. I recall your 'moon garden' from last summer. I would love to see that again with its magic.

My goodness Candy. You have had a lot to deal with. You have done really well. Dont forget to take good care of yourself. We have just moved house and its been non-stop since we moved in! That does seem potentially stressful. I would do a couple of urgent things, and then just focus on little areas at a time. If you get a small area perfect, you will feel good looking at it. You have some beautiful plants. The large area that is overgrown at the back… I’d consider digging the whole lot up. Maybe just saving and moving a couple of plants worth saving, then turf it. So much easier to mow. I’m doing similar to a massive overgrown bed that I don’t have time to maintain. Digging it ready for Autumn turfing …garden centre rolls.

I can't believe how well they did after you cutting them back. Do you use compost in everything ? You should see my gardens at the moment lol 😂We were gone three months and then it has been soo hot since we got back that i haven't got out to check it out till today! Everything is overgrown with weeds and the passion flower has sprouted all over the yard! Oh my gosh do i have some work to do but it has been near 100 degrees every day with no rain till yesterday and not much. Please take care of yourself and don't stress out over the little things or anything at all for that matter. I would love to see you pulling cards in the Magic Garden again and i think it's Great you are doing the Rosary. I use Mala beads sometimes to help ground me. I have so many things going on at once i get scattered. I am pretty sure i have adhd and it is hard to stay on task. You Amaze me at how much you do! OMG Candy, I just recently bought my house, and I have weeds everywhere, and I'm talking in just little garden beds. I've just been plain slack, give yourself peace, your garden in humongous plus you have your precious children who you tend to. You are nothing but a superhero 🦸♂️❤
