I have a blast picking and choosing whether to double a vocal line, add a layer to the texture, double a guitar riff for extra percussive emphasis, always plenty of options, love to hear you picking out some bits that were my favorites to add to this one
I just have to say that your choice the double the guitar in Captain No Beard was such a great choice. I wish I could get that tone by myself. It made me inspired to pick up piano. Thank you!

That band is new to me but what a phenomenal song. I'll definitely be listening to them more. I'd recommend giving a listen to Language I: Intuition from The Contortionist. Another incredible song as well.

This song spoke to me on a spiritual level during a really dark time in my life involving mental illness and wouldn’t you know it I picked up the guitar again.
I have never seen David pause a video so little, haha. This is one of the coolest songs I’ve ever heard. I was intrigued when Metalbirb did a reaction to this, and it completely captures every melodic element that I love. It’s beautiful, heavy, encapsulating, breathtaking, just incredible all around. So glad you got to hear this. Looking forward to more reactions of these guys, and more music from these guys too.
That was badass! I'm a 58 year old black woman who primarily listens to r&b but I will listen to anything that has a beat I can follow or really good lyrics. I have absolutely no idea what they were saying but I found a beat amid all the chaos.. The drummer was amazing and I liked the piano. It was really theatrical. It didn't feel like 11 minutes to me either and I will listen to it again. As always, I enjoyed your reaction and watching you get lost in the music.

Aviations is one of my all-time favorite bands! I discovered them back in 2013 and they've grown and developed so much over the years, and now seem to have locked in the perfect line-up. They're one of those terribly under-appreciated and relatively unknown bands that really truly deserve more exposure. I get goosebumps listening to their music and I only hope that their popularity increases so they can continue to make this beautiful music. This song is exactly as you said, a modern masterpiece.

Thanks huge for reviewing my favourite band, Aviations. They have written what I would describe as the perfect song. Period. Everyone else can just stop writing now, it's been done to perfection with Outliers. Every member of this band, without exception, is a master musician. This is the modern reincarnation of Rush - turnes out, there is a God of music after all. BTW, they ARE progressive rock.
Okay this was amazing, thank you for listening to us. I will kick off my next campaign with the song VANISH CANVAS by ERRA. This song is absolutely incredible in pretty much every aspect and I know there will be people in these comments who back me up. Courtney from Spirit Box just did a re-release feature on it, so maybe you could do that one!!
I know I'm a little late to the party - but if you want to hear a more modern/contemporary metal band with a keyboard player, I HIGHLY recommend Arch Echo!

Awesome song and reaction! I highly recommend Between the Buried and Me. Try Extremophile Elite live in studio. They have keys and every one of them are masters at their instruments. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The full length version of this song has a slightly longer piano intermission in the middle that's worth checking out. Also check out 'Quest' from them. They're far from a one-hit wonder.🤘
P.S. The structure of this song is fascinating. You hear motifs in the melody when you re-listen. I won't run out of things to say about this so I'm going to cut myself off lol
