I haven't played starcraft in years.
I see that the old "failed cannon rush into void ray spam meta" is still on play.

I swear I would play more if I was playing only ZvT or ZvZ, when I was playing I got so used to protoss cheese that I rarely lost to it but I was so disguisted that even at masters you see shit like that it was lowkey one of the main reasons I stopped
@@mixalis295 aggressive strats have and always will be a part of the game, and tbh cheese is usually the easiest match up - if you're masters then you're scouting well enough surely?

Please leave the game so that I can continue to be matched with players who are better than me rather than lowering my mmr so that I am facing equivalent competition. It just makes no sense to me
Cannonrushing your way up the ladder is already certain get you overmatched opposition.
I'm LOW rank and absolutely hate it when you get a game and they quit immediately and up your MMR by a 100, totally screw me, I know I'm gonna have a really bad time for the next couple of games.
I didn't earn that MMR and I'm just gonna get wrecked for the next 3 games minimum, why would anyone want that.
That's why so many toss complain that other races are op. Toss is the easiest race for cheeesing up and then they get matched to players who eat them in longer games

I havent saved a starcraft video in a couple years. But i felt your defense against cannon rush was an effective way to do it and a way i could learn to do it. Thank you for posting this.
Also against protoss you can pre-emptively take your third as your second base. If they cannon that, you can just give it up and take your natural. The advantage of this is that the cannon rush does not impact you getting troops out of your main, so it is not a big deal if protoss is left with some cannons there after they take out the hatch.,

When I used to play Starcraft II online (10 years ago); those kinds of encounters are very common. When you play enough sessions and are confident in your abilities to deal with those kinds of encounters; you simply treat the opponent as if you were playing against the A.I.
Hahaha. This reminds me of a game in which SOS was using Stats' account and got cannon rushed, SOS initially told Stats not to worry but then ended up losing. SOS had to ask his opponent to leave so that Stats can keep his mmr. Stats was rofl in the background. It was hilarious.
Like Vibe says : dont pull drones when canon rush is already set up, just build 3 spines and attack with other units when the 3 spines burrow right next to cannons.

My favorite was defending an all-in rush in Command and Conquer that was considered best strategy only to be called a noob f***t and ragequit.
This type of shit is why i play agaist either AI or friends. I can get good without dealing with the frustration of cannon rushes, proxy everything, and zergs doing poor imitations of the german taxi.

Cannon rush was not behind the mineral line which meant first cannon was out of range of the hatchery allowing it to finish and give her time to get static defense and zerglings out

I didn't call my opponent a toddler. I assume you're talking about the beginning when I said "I can't hold all these toddlers"? That was about my lings/spines/queens/drones constantly moving. They were like toddlers trying to touch a hot stove (the cannons).

I think the rational behind this move was, that he thought ZG is a smurfing GM, that's why he was implying that it's an alt. If that would be the case, asking a smurfing GM not to rob your points is somewhat more understandable.
@@SystemUpdate310 on the other hand... doing cheeze plays like that tends to be something you'd see in a GM match itself. So if he's complaining that he thinks a GM is on an Alt, who succesfully defended against a cheese strat you'd see used in a GM match.. then he's someone trying to 'act' like a GM himself.
Now if she had obliterated a full on, true, attack with ease.. then i could see him giving that line. But not when its a case of him trying to use a cheese play for a easy win only to be blocked.

Wow! First time seeing ZombieGrub. Wow! I wish I had those skills. People that are good at StarCraft are from another planet. Real humans can't do this. I can't.
It took me 10 years of playing SC2 to get to masters. I was still at gold with about 25 apm 3 years in. I slowly worked that up to an average 120 apm. I'm slightly over 150 when I'm try harding. Top players average over 300 apm.
