Dude so I just figured out a good start against cannon rushes. All you have to do is make a depot and a barracks in the ramp like you did, but make sure the instant you can start making/afford a barrack you send 1 scv to scout, if ever you see a prob on the way let the scv continue scouting while you take 2 scv from main and have them block the entry in your base.continue blocking the path with 2 scv until you make your Marine, the Marine replaces the 2scv(and continue mining)This prevents the probe into getting into your base and might continue the rush bellow ground since he has no high version you can simple take out his rush with a seige tank or attack high ground.
If he order his probe to collect minerals from one of his patches, the probe will pass trough the 2 scvs "blocking" (collectors can pass trough other ground units when harvesting ).
i'm so fucking sick of lame ass protoss players relying on the cannon rush. it's so fucking frustrating. thank you for showing a good technique. I will never allow this shit to happen again.
The skill needed to perform cannon rush is so ridiculously low compared to skill needed to defend it. If that's not imba I have no idea what is. The most disgusting and laughable is that these players usually even brag about "being better"...

Could you also half build the barracks and then start the second supply depot to finish the wall before the probe arrives?

after they succesfully put down the first cannon it is harder to defend. but if you scout the first pylon its easier to defend than to do the rush.

try to block the ramp and dont make probe to be up to your base, pull some scv with marine to attack it
