Wow.. I loved this video thank you Mark/Dan I would really love to do this just scared to as I know I get stuck on some small thing as never seen it done before.. Dan makes it so easy. I am keen to try in the future once I know what the new MFS sim needs..Thank you it looks so much fun, but just doing the software install might be a problem for me.

That set up and build looks awesome, immaculate 👍✌️😊💜

Thanks for the taking the time and putting this video together. I brought a flight sim system from Wired2Fire last month (thanks for your promo code) and they have been fantastic from the start. Firstly, the PC was ready before the estimated pick up date and secondly, the continued support from Dan and his team that have all gone above and beyond, always happy to help when answering my calls. I highly recommend!

For someone who has never ventured down this road, still found this really interesting to see how easily everything all comes together to create these marvels that allow us to traverse our planet in VR! Appreciate the time both you and Dan took to share this for us Simmers and hope it’s great for W2F sales!

I built a computer in 1998 and one during the pandemic and it is so much easier these days. If I can do it " i'm no spring chicken" anyone can do it..trust me.

Mark, I am having a superb experience in MSFS in the Quest 3. Smooth and stutter free. I am using the link cable via the Oculus App. Super sampling via the app at 1.5x. I am not using virtual desktop or Steam VR. MSFS settings and mostly high to ultra. my rig is a 4090, 7800x3d, 32g ram. I am super happy with the experience

Hey Johannes. Maybe you have a comparson to Reverb G2? I have Asus Rog x670e-f 64gb
6000 Mt Corsair CL30, RTX 4090 and 7950x3d and so on with Reverb G2. At the moment im not sore what could i do. I think my modded G2 have a very nice Picture. But i dont see other HMDs. I dont have a comparson. I look to Quest 3, but much people say that can see Screendoor. Other People say Pico 4 was better for Flightsimmer. I need a HMD only to use XPlane, DCS, MSFS and Modelflightsims. Maybe you have an idea. Thank you

Mark, I continue to have an impressively splendid 3D experience as well in MSFS in my ‘wireless’ PICO 4 VR headset which now has a 5+ hour battery life thanks to your recommendation of the KKCOBVR P4 battery pack. In fact, there’s no reason whatsoever for my ever wanting to go back to 2D. As for myself, however, what truly makes the 3D experience that much more enjoyable is that I am running the MSFS on my very first ever PC build, a “Custom Fully Liquid Cooled Gaming PC - (whisper-quiet, 10 rgb fans, 3 large radiators, every component.. gpu, motherboard, radiators, water pump, etc, fully watercooled via a ‘single continuous loop, whisper-quiet) - which I created six months ago. What’s really nice, though, is that the KKCOBVR P4 battery-pack addon to my PICO 4 VR now enables me to ‘wirelessly’ enjoy flying planes, gliders, and helicopters in MSFS in my PICO 4 VR for more than 5-hours. Thanks again Mark for all your help. 👍

Interesting to see as I've built two of my own PC's over the last few years and done various upgrades. However, all this stuff is way above my paygrade (I'm retired)! Despite that, it would be useful to know if there are any sites that offer advice on upgrading CPU's (I have a Rizen 5 at the moment but can't find out if I can upgrade to a Rizen 7 (i.e. will that need a new motherboard?).

    • @gavinjackson1920
      @gavinjackson1920 Před 7 měsíci +1

You'll want to check the manufacturers website for your motherboard which will cover which CPU is supported by it and if you need to update your bios before hand.

    Agree your explanation.
But, with XMP profiles, and 16*4 Gb in an Asus Maximus Hero, I9 12900, the only stable frequency is 4800 Mhz. With 4 lines of Fury DDR5 6000 Mhz.
The solution, for me, was force memory in Bios till 5200 Mhz. and forget XMP profiles. Also with AI overclocking CPU works stable.
Now, I can run MSFS 2020 without virtual memory without sttuters, and smooth.
The RTX 4090 is a must.
    Thks a lot for share.

Yes..."What to do after you have built your PC" is getting more and more important. We can't assume the system is stable, no matter if we run default settings or not, but especially with high-performance, high-density memory kits with all slots populated and XMP enabled, nothing is guaranteed.

6:23 no, that's bs if that case is not grounded via power cable plugged into mains and power supply fitted into case.🤌
