    A truly wonderful piece of workmanship Paul! You're not getting results fast but the outcome on the other hand is so wonderful - great admiration from me :-) Regards, Joachim

    Another master class demonstration of what you do best Paul. You certainly know how to scratchbuild and the results are outstanding. Ah well, looks like I will have to be happy with just building kits for my layout, lol
    Cheers

      Thank you Geoff, there’s nothing wrong in kits, I like them too. It’s the adaptability of scratch building that gives me the extra pull to continue down that road though. Paul

    I'm not building a signal box, but this is an excellent tutorial on getting a hipped roof done right and I will be referring back to it in the future. I've only attempted pitched rooves so far. Cheers

    That is a real roof construction there Paul. The finished effect is very good indeed and the box is really coming together as a professional scratch build. I think the signal box will be the next scratch build once I finish High Elven station. I will see how I adapt the roof. There is a system for roof tiles by Your Model Railways that I have been wanting to try. Stephen

    Hi Paul, I can't believe the lengths you have gone to in modelling the inside of the roof ! The signs of a true perfectionist (or completely bonkers) :) A truly fantastic build that keeps getting better ! Rgds, Andy

      @GalgormHall  Před 4 lety

      Hi Alan if these videos do anything I hope they encourage fellow modellers to give scratch building a go. The process, no matter what you build, remains the same requiring just a little forethought and planning to put the build together. Give it a go and if you’re on Facebook please share your progress with me as I’m always interested to see other modellers efforts. Paul
