- America is country full of Middle Class people who are struggling to just barely survive in a very low wage, and very high rent economy. That’s a wonderful combination for the top 1% of earners, but a life of misery for many others. One large group of Americans who suffer because of it are those with disabilities.

Thanks for watching!
My husband had mobility issues and we looked all over to find a commercial rv that would work for him. Didn't find anything, so I bought a race trailer with a drop down tailgate and I built in the features that he needed. We hauled that trailer all over the west. He got to enjoy the last years of his life.
Turn your scars into stars.
Hi Bob, as a wheelchair user, I so enjoyed watching this. I'm unable to self propel and it's people like you that let me travel all over the world through watching videos. My body is disabled but my mind is free. Thank you for being inspirational and happy, safe travels. 💕
This gentleman deserves our admiration. Good on you man!
ADA Compliance officers, are you paying attention? Let this gentleman show you how he designs a practical, accessible life!
AGREED !!!!!!!
My mom was an amputee. Didn't slow her down one iota. 💜
I am totally blown away by Michigan Bob's attitude towards life. I needed to watch this video today, it spoke to me loud and clear.
Thank you so very much Bob for interviewing Michigan Bob, it was like therapy for me. He's an amazing man, I see a future as a motivational speaker for him!
Wow! That screen door is a great idea! I’m inspired. Thank you! ✨💖✨
Good for you! My mom has polio, she refuses to be called disabled. Thanks for sharing.
Your mom MUST be a "proud lady".... And also a FINE role model for ALL !!!
Always so happy to see videos featuring fellow mobility aid users! Bob hit the nail on the head when he said accepting help is one of the hardest things we can do. But kudos to you Bob, for setting your intention to fully live your life, and making it happen! Happy trails! Thanks for the great video!!! 👍✌
I'm handicapped, using a rolling walker but I'm bound and determined to make it to the 2020 RTR. Thanx for profiling Bob in this video.
You can do it Terry! Best wishes ♡♡♡
Terry Myers I hope to see you there Terry. If I do make it I will look around for you to connect. Cheers!!!
See you there! 😁
Thanx F&T and Lynn :)
Look me up on Facebook. Search Terry Myers and then look for the American flag and Navy flag as my profile pic. We can get to know one another before the next event.
Wow! Good for him. That screen system is brilliant and looks super nice too. He's right, looking for what we CAN do, instead of focusing on what we can't is much more effective & productive.
Great job!!! Very inspiring. I am also disabled and in a wheelchair most of the time. This gave me many ideas to get myself set up to get out there with all of you and LIVE!!!!!! Thank You Bob & Bob!
You can crush our bones but never the human spirit to venture out and shake the tree of life. My Mantra. "We only kick this rock once Give it hell!" Happy travels!
Beeps.
really impressed and love the life attitude/
Being disabled...these types of videos inspire me so much. Thank you, Bob...and Bob!
I love that you asked if “handicap” was ok 💜
Michigan Bob is amazing! Love the screen door! Hi Michigan Bob I’m from Michigan too!
What a great segment, this is what media should be used for , learning and life’s experiences, Thank you for showing people this . God Bless him
That was your advice to me Bob. Iam working on it I will make it eventually. BEEN waiting for an interview like this for the 5 years I've been watching Bob love this so much gives me more hope and inspiration ♥️♥️♥️
I wish more people had the great attitude that this gentleman has. Very touching video.
GOOD FOR HIM!
PERSEVERANCE WILL GET YOU EVERYTHING.
YES! 🧡 Disability and MS Awareness🧡 Great Video
RVing with MS Multiple Sclerosis
Me too.
Geez🤦🏼♀️, I think I may be a wimp.This guy is INSPIRING
and impressive with his ingenuity.
I hope it gives precious souls that need the encouragement
a lift and a gentle push.
Love that door. Ingenuity to a new level!
when there's a will there's always a way!
The screen door is awesome!
I have a mix of illnesses that has resulted in the disability of chronic fatigue. I moved into a 16 foot traveler that is way easier to live in and less isolating that the multistory suburban home I had before. Plus I have to be able to house myself on my part time work. It’s worked out great and I just published a book about my first year. Like Bob said, everyone with a disability is different. Bob has the energy to need an off-road chair. I mostly stay in except for where I can go with my electric scooter - I see the world through my windshield!
Bob I’ve said it before in other videos, may the Gods bless you sir you find the good in everyone and every rig out there. You never seem to be negative. I do hope to meet you one day while traveling or at an RTR in the future. Cheers!!!
An inspiration to all of us who have disabilities in one form or another!👍
This is truly an inspirational story! I love the saying "I was alive but not living!" great great great!
Bob, you are such an inspiration!!!!
Renegade is not in business anymore but there are other options. I have MS and three years ago I fell backward into the brick fireplace in my home and broke my neck. At first I had little use of my arms and legs but now I can get into a wheelchair and push myself. I want to get out of the nursing home I have been in ever since my accident but there are so many nay sayers here; I am not listening because this summer is my break out time! I too am very independent and will figure out things as I go along. It is so great to see someone else in a wheelchair (so sorry for your accident) being a nomade! Now I know I can be on my own after seeing you. Thanks for this video, I really needed something like this in my life right now. Best of continued good fortune on your journey.
There are so very many ways to die. Being stuck in the ground is just one way to prove death.
Great vid.
Many thanks.
Great video! Great inspiration. This dude is very resourceful. To think I whine about bad knees. Thanks for posting.
Hats off to this guy!
I've been watching these videos for about 4 years and dreaming about traveling around the country full time. I was on oxygen full time for a while, but now I only need it at night with my bi-pap machine. I use an oxygen concentrator. I question whether or not solar power would be sufficient to keep my machines going all night.
I would ask an expert in solar power. Maybe a back up generator?
Theresa57 Camper Van Kevin uses a c-pap. He’s recently gotten a class a but lived in a van etc. Go check out his channel. I seem to recall the type of batteries the solar charges, as to how far you can draw them down over night etc. Getting a good solar expert as suggested above is a good idea.
Yes it can be done if money is no object and you plan to plug in to shore power each night in your RV that also has solar and a generator as backup.
If funds are limited then you need to do the math regarding your electric consumption. It is the same exercise everyone else has to do when planning a solar system but you have to add to it the special equipment you need at night.
Once you have calculated the amount of electricity you will need each day, then you can price the system you will need to supply that power. The size of you battery bank will determine how many days you can still have electricity if it's raining during the day or heavily overcast. If your night time machines are necessary to keep you alive, then you must have a back up generator.
A representative from a Solar company like AZ Wind and Solar (that Bob recommends) can help you with your calculations but you will need to supply them with the specifications on your special equipment in addition to the regular/normal energy needs you will have during the day and night.
Thank you Bob & Bob. You both are kool dudes. Your handsome home is neat & practical.
You are an inspiring and beautiful man. Best wishes. ♡♡♡
So impressive! Don't live with self pity is the message I hear!
What an amazing man! This man is changing his life by example for others, I understand his independent spirit. Bob you always find the inspirations, thank you.
This guy is amazing. I take care of disabled persons in wheelchairs full time and there's alot of extra things to figure out but this guy shows it absolutely can be done.
What an awesome guy! I love his cargo trailer - especially the screen doors!
On a side note, I can't understand the thumbs down. Those people must be unhappy losers.
Whenever I see a thumbs down on a great video I imagine someone watching CZcams drunk as a skunk and can't tell one icon from another.
@@jackiew6598 - Good way to look at it. Sadly, when it comes to Bob’s videos, there are certain people who will automatically give them a thumbs down. I think they’re just jealous.
All I have to say is Wow! Love how Bob is awed by Bob from Michigan
great video .
That really captures Walt Disney's saying, "First, think. Second, believe. Third, dream. And finally, dare."
Bob is definitely inspiring!
WOW!!! This man just made my day! Tuned into your channel
and ran into this beautiful soul.😘 The peace and joy and vitality he exudes is so invigorating. It's as though he just shrugged his shoulders and said, I don't know what's so puzzling. I just did what i wanted to do. 😁😁😁
An attitude that empowers all of us. Way to go!
Love the door idea and the entire rig. He's and inspiration. Thank you for sharing.
Mobility challenged...been so inspired by this gentleman. I'm ready to go! I have a similar attitude...if you tell me I can't...stand back cuz I'll show you I CAN!

Amazing!!! I’m so inspired 👍👍👍
I believe this man just showed me how to live again.BLESSINGS to you and your family. I'm getting out of THIS bed now. TODAY.
Do It James. Act now on this surge of motivation before it dissipates
He is 100% right. I had a hard time admitting I needed to be in the wheelchair. I went into a depression for a little over a year. The wheelchair sat in a corner over a year! Then I really wanted to get out of the house. slowly I started liking that I could go shopping again. The one thing I know is that you have to be real careful . And if you ever get that feeling in the pit of your stomach you shouldn't do that in your chair. "Don't do it" I did and fell going down hill into traffic. Luckily a young man stopped and stopped traffic. I was all beat up. But my chair was fine. My food went rolling down the hill. Fire department came, with police and ambulance. But I learned. Now I pretty much go where I want. But I know I still can't do everything I did. and I don't drive. always wanted to live like y'all. But my husband doesn't want to do it permanently but says we will go some weekends. So It's a compromise :)
Amazing personality.
What a powerful and inspirational man Bob is! I think he really hit the point when he talked about whether you really want to live or just stay barely alife, waiting for death to come. I think many people relate to that - I surely did. You managed to get right back on your 'spiritual feet' and fully enjoy your life. Good for you! The rig seems to serve all your needs and gives you a stable safe home. I think it is wonderful and heroic what you achieved here, Bob! You have managed to rise above your limitations and reach new levels of fully living and being yourself. I think that is really a sign of strength and determination to LIVE. Thank you for sharing this with us. Greetings to both of you heroes Bob & Bob - Jason
Bob from Michigan. Nice build. The screen door is a great idea. I could use that design on a building around the homestead.
Oh, my. This had me in tears... of respect. Hats off to you, Bob!
Really like this watch! It is different being born with a disability and having one later! I would expect no less of myself as well! 😎
Am impressed with Michigan Bob's determination and inventiveness to DO what he loves. TY for sharing with us Bob!
This man has really encouraged me!!!!

What an inspiration!
Great video.
Awesome video from Bob of (wheeled) Bob! I've been recovering from a stroke the last few years & figuring out if I can begin living again... I found both Bob's advice super motivating & encouraging! 👍👍
That’s a great setup! Love it! Have a great time out there! 😁❤️🎺❤️😁
Life gives us what we need to transcend. Gifts vs adversities. Blessings Bob🧚♀️
