Once again I’m doing a video on how much money my car wash made in just one week. Ever wondered how much a self serve car wash can make. Well it varies massively depending on location, how many bays you have, how many functions you provide for the customer, how much you charge and weather you keep everything working but this should give you a rough idea about my 5 bay car wash in a busy road even though it’s slightly off the main road down a slip lane.
Self serve car washes can be a great passive income business once set up the right way. Once renovated with new equipment you shouldn’t have too many break downs as the equipment is new which will require less time fixing equipment. Having the right employee in place who knows how to fix damages and is thorough will a good clean up and making it look nice and clean for customers is a must which frees up your time to focus on other opportunities.
After working for my Uncle for 2 years at he's car washes I really wanted my own and I came across this car wash. It was completely shutdown for many years so I approached the owner of the land and made a deal with him.
It took me 6 weeks to bring it back to life and open it and now the customers are starting to pour in. Not to mention I opened it during winter so I am yet. to see its full potential but here's a small taste of how its going so far!

I'm working on working up through the company and to one day become a car wash owner, I'm 22 years old, going to college for business currently, again really love the car wash Industry/Business, I could do really anything at my age and for some reason this is my passion, I love all the ins and outs, been working for car washes since i was 16, so about 6-1/2 almost 7 years, its something i love doing and i love my job! I'm saving up currently and taking your tips to buy either a run down one, or my buddy has the same passion as me for a car wash, we may try to take out a loan with money down and buy one, alot of different routes to go but honestly i can't get enough of your videos! Keep them up please, i got like 4 or 5 videos left and then i've watched all your videos hahaha! Great content, wish you the best of luck with your washes :) You will be seeing more of me!

You should buy a extra bucket specifically for the tokens when they come out. Just saying!

This is a 3 bay car wash and was shut down in 2020 after the owner passed unexpectedly. Everything is free m magic wand and most everything looks in pretty good shape. I just won’t know until the deal goes through what works and what doesn’t.

Been watching other carwash videos from others but your videos are always my favorite 👍, do people ever try to use other type of tokens that they get from somewhere else, or are yours different size or something? I like the idea of tokens, that was my only concern
Thanks so much! Every week I might get 10 tokens or so that aren’t mine so not the biggest deal and doesn’t affect profits at all. If I was getting 50 then I would be more concerned and get custom made tokens

I spent years saving so had the funds on hand. If I didn’t I would’ve gone to family. If they didn’t have it I would’ve had to look for a partner or bank loan not that I would’ve qualified at the time lol

Thank you! No issues. My landlord wanted a long lease so didn’t have to negotiate length at all which was good

What is a typical cash flow multiple to purchase a car wash at? Looking at a car wash and laundromat cashflowing 100k/year. Seller asking for 400k for both.

Paid nothing for it. Was shut down for 5 years and bad condition. Put $50k into it getting it open.
