      Hey brother.. do you think a business that just does paint correction/polishing and wash and wax would be okay without interior detailing? Not going to lie.. not interested in interior detail at all.

    • @kirkwilson5900
      @kirkwilson5900 Před rokem +1

      @@justsomeguy538 in my experience, no. I don't think clients want to their own vacuuming as much as you don't want to either that's why they go to a detailer. No way they'll take it to you for Exterior then find another detailer who will do their interior. I'm a full time mobile detail and not one of my probably 80 or so clients would ever call me back if I didn't do their interior. My premium washes start at 100, and that's only after they've had me detail them first.

    These prices are not bad at all, my prices go from $66 maintenance, 150 basic initial detail, 300 for heavy initial detail. Don't let the people bring your energy down, don't charge by the hour but charge for the quality of the work. If your work is quality and genuine, people are more than happy to work with you. Once again, don't let low frequency energy mess with you. High frequency work attracts high frequency customers.

    I’ve started to almost Completely step away from washes. From what I find people who want this cheap wash want more than what a drive through wash can offer but they don’t value the work that I will put in to for that more costly wash. There service for me has to be beneficial for my time. So now what I do is really only do full details and then I offer those clients maintenance details on a weekly or biweekly service.

Are their products beneficial or detrimental to your vehicle? These kind of businesses typically are not around long term and hurt the industry as a whole for those of us that treat this as an ever evolving art form.

    The people that complain, are the people who cant afford it. They think your prices should reflect their pockets. LOL. Whenever they asked, "Can you do it for less?" My response is, "Can you do your job for less?" If not, why would I? If they want low prices, either go to a tunnel car wash or DIY. Detailing is a labor intensive job, not a automatic. That's why they pay more. Tunnel washes are cheap, fast and low quality. Hand detailers (not all) are higher priced, slower and better quality. Remember!... You are cleaning their dirty, nasty a$$ car. Which they could've cleaned and maintained themselves. Cleaning your car is a necessity. Having someone else clean your car is a luxury. We don't cater to nonsense. They don't get to name their price here. If they think my prices are too expensive. On to the next one.
