The snowiest day of the 2023/2024 season in California’s Sierra Nevadas was recorded on Sunday, May 5, according to the UC Berkeley Central Sierra Snow Lab.
The lab said 26.4 inches of snow fell over the last day, which it said was 2.6 inches more than its March 3 record.
I'm not a big fan of snow but good for the one's who do
That heavy breathing 💦
Given the ski base is probably 5000ft altitude or higher? Also, cold dry air causes bronchospasm. Which causes irritation, tightening, and narrowing of airways.

Where in the Sierra?
Don't you mean Nevada's Sierra NEVADA MOUNTAINS? Yes, I understand that they are in California also but the majority are in Nevada, and the answer lies in the name of the Mountains, Sierra Nevada's.
Right?! This says nothing.
Sierra Nevada is Spanish. It roughly means snowy mountains. Sierra = mountain, Nevada = Snowy.
The very large majority of the Sierra Nevada mountain range is in the state of California, not Nevada.
This Global Warming is just way too hot🤡🤡
Stop supporting genocide
Scientist had to dumb it down to "Climate Change" for folks such as yourself & yet you still are Clueless.
FACT: Depending on where you live. Spring might start in March, but don't let your calendar fool you. Many parts of the U.S. can still see snow well into April and May.
They had to change it from Global Warming to Climate Change, but now the climate is changing for the better.
