- To address the constant comments about people not being able to work: right outside the frame is a street that was cleared, so we aren't stuck as badly as you think. Yes, the cars were buried, but it was possible to get out of the neighborhood.

this is so satisfying to watch the houses lights turn off slowly and the clouds moving
Doo Doo Fart
Cletus F Falitus ahaha wow so funny you sound like a 4th grader
Zoe Green your judgmental
Iceman nah who the hell just randomly comments “doo doo fart” she was being nice. I think this kid sounds like he’s 5
Santtu Weisell baby
I love how everyone came together and dug their cars out of the snow.
Same, I enjoyed the friendship ❤️
I thought in complexes like this you didn’t have to shovel the sidewalks.
Morning of to work
@@dsj82 no one left after the storm hit, they were clearing out cars for nothing i guess lol, maybe in case someone needed to leave but even then they weren’t getting out of that parking lot with those cars
@@solochristo65 If these townhouses are owned not rented then each homeowner handles their own maintenance.
I love how they kept trying to shovel and plow but the weather is all, " *I'M NOT DONE* "
Haha
xD
"To make this the most amazing snowstorm of 2016, I'll just make your efforts to put aside my snow useless"
People on the first day be like: Okok, no shoveling today, we get it...
Lol bless the hearts of those who went out thinking “yea if I shovel some now it will be less the next time”
Anyone one notice how beautifully the earth is revolving ??
Foreel💯💯... It's so beautiful
Something flat doesn't revolve. It DOES rotate though...

I find blizzard videos irresistible for some reason. I really liked it when the house lights came on that nice street. People got out there and cleaned that snow off the entire street, not just their own house or car. Great teamwork!
E Mack I was thinking exactly the same thing. We do the same thing when it snows at the airport.
.
But they only moved huge amount to the center or parking. That's all they done. All the snow were taken away by heavy machines. Without it they would stuck till summer in that huge snow drift they made in this "teamwork".
Same here, dude living in a tropical country right now on a 2 hour video streak of snow blizzard timelapses. can't move send help.
loved it too
I remember this storm... I live in Maryland as well and I remember walking outside and sledding down my backyard hill as the snow fell down in a complete utter silence. I love snow so much. The silence when it's snowing is beautiful. I don't know how this turned to me fangirling over snow but it did.
Misty Forests same, we haven’t had good snow in a while lol
The Sounds of Silence in a snowstorm. When I lived in New Jersey I took an 11pm walk in a snowstorm. It was so peacefully quiet. A great way to relax and enjoy the snow.
I'm the same way. I hope we'll get a big snow in March this year
Now imagine the same, but snow doesn't even start to melt for the next 5 months. God damn Siberia.
Yea, I live in MD as well. DMV weather is a big off tbh.
I love a good snowstorm. Cozying up on the couch and watching the snowfall is one of the best things about winter ❄️.
Wish we had snow here in Las Vegas, when I'm not working that is given people here can't drive even on a clear day.
I love to see all the neighbors in the community pitch in to make a path
I liked all the little ants coming out to work...
Marshal Jim Duncan. So many little busy people. Great MUSICK.
Yeah they come out at same time lolz
😂😂💀
Um bom tempo para caminhar kkkkk coisa linda cara, só é chato na hora de tirar a neve cobrindo os carros
And achieving nothing... No cars moved.
This is like watching ants when they are agitaded by some external factor.
OMG ITS ACTUALLY YOU!
bruh what r u doing here lol

God I love snowy nights. Can't wait for winter again!
Me too. I love snow
yeah I'm jelly. I'm in New Orleans where we get a "dusting" about every 10 years......
Boy I feel for you guys, I would really miss snow if I lived somewhere like that
One of my favorite memories as a child and something I now do with my own children is going for walks at night when it's snowing and looking at Christmas lights
Bob SMith, I did live in Philadelphia for the 96 Blizzard (youtube it) it was awesome. I'd just bought a CamCorder and took lots of footage. I watch it periodically.
How beautiful it is when we work together.
This video will never get old! Love the way it was captured, from sunset to sunlight. Great job!!!!
Funny how everyone got this on there recommended in summer of 2020
How did you know??? 😂😂
I searched for this 🤷♂️
Think it's because it's expected that this year will have extreme winters all over the globe :/
I was looking up country snow scenes...... snow falling in the country is beautiful but this was a good video also.
It's a sign.

This is one of the best videos on the internet. Watching it sporadicly since day 10. Thank you for that ❤️
I'm so thankful for this video. The scenery with the song go so well together. I still listen to it somewhat regularly many years after I've first seen this video. Cheers!
Very cool. Its funny how they dug the cars out but threw all the snow in the road so the cars still couldn't go anywhere.
Otherwise you risk being totally blocked in by the compacted snow, produced by the plow not being able to get close.
cplcabs. That was a supprise surprise.wasn't it?
That is townhouse living no where else to put it
it was a surprise. We would throw the snow behind the vehicle. But I suppose they had no place to build a snow bank. Our snow banks are there for four or five months.
They put it on the road so the plows can take it away. Even with winter tires good luck driving through that deep of snow anyways.
I was in Maryland during the blizzard of January 2016. It was stunning ⛄⛄⛄⛄!!!
paulina guichard I enjoyed the blizzard in 2016 more because I was home. I was trapped at work during the Blizzard of 1996, and that was an experience!
1:55:. Liked the transition from cloudy skies to clear night sky.
I live in Southern Maryland and I remember this snow storm that came through! It was the best snow storm in years
Absolutely love how everyone is out shoveling together. Also, those clouds! And when it begins to melt at the end, that was brilliant, ha!
I remember this blizzard, I live in MD too...probably the last time it snowed this much😔
This is amazing!!! I’m so jealous!
I live in Greece where 10 months of the year are sunny and we barely see any snow in our lives... such a pity
im so thankful that i got to see so many snowstorms as a kid, it has literally snowed 1 time so far this year
I hate cold more than anything but I do appreciate how beautiful the world becomes when it’s buried under a nice blanket of snow!
there’s something so endearing about watching people go about their little lives in time lapses lol
That is probably one of the best time lapses ever made. Seeing night fall and daybreak over a couple of days was cool.
Wow. Amazing watching the time lapse. My husband says he doesn't remember this snowfall. Well I sure do because I walked from work in it. Took me 47 minutes to.walk home. Great video.
This was beautiful. Thanks for the video.
Hi
That was oddly satisfying, thank you for sharing!
It's so great to look how these people are working together
I miss when we got this much snow. It's been years now.
I live in Ohio, by Michigan. I'm used to it. Lol. I HATE shoveling out my car. I'm not young any more, and don't rely on others to do it for me. I might look into it, though, the next big one. It's backbreaking.
I will never complain again, good team work.
so.. nobody went to work during that time lapse.
basic also inconclusive analysis you have formed there, if you was to believe that you are assuming they have all lost the ability to walk.
@@ItZFlipz that comment is too high iq for me could you simplyfy it please

I recall this storm! I lived in NoVa. It started on a Friday, snowed all weekend. Then the sun came out and we shoveled and shoveled. It was awesome
I originally saw this video back-to-back with some documentary about the Arctic, because I watched a lot of those over the winter months. The part at the end where the sun comes up after some of the snow has been removed is a perfect illustration of what's happening to our glaciers, and I will never unsee it that way. Just replace the asphalt with big dark expanses of sea water.
1:33 lower left car was almost completely covered in snow. than a dude came and uncovered it, it was so close to being completely covered. it broke my inner monk.
this is my second time watching it after about 2 or 3 years and it feels weirdly nostalgic
I love these big snowstorms. Was living in West Baltimore and work in Towson didn't get to work for 3 days but enjoyed the time off. Have always loved snow and the more the prettier lol.
4:29 The clouds in this scene bro 🤨

God bless you there people! I love that heavy snow storms and snow generally cause in my town at Athens we cant get that amount of snow. I really love this video. I wish i couls be there :(
I come back to watch this video at least once a year... my favourite video on CZcams
I love how the community works together
Really nice. I love alot of snow, but like everyone, hate to drive in it. Now, when I retire, I hope all my winters are like this!
pinkfreud62 you're ok with all this?can you hope from Antartica please?
Wrong, not EVERYONE hates driving in snow. Great donuts and power slides. WHat is up...no one makes an effort to go to work...sad
Steve Coleman Well, not everyone then, but alot do.
Buy a real jeep like and it's a blast to drive in. You really only see plow trucks and Jeep's out playing in the snow when the roads are bad.
youtube: “wanna see a time laps of a blizzard”
5 million people: “sure”
Amazing! Fantastic footage and awesome cooperation
i lived in maryland when i was a child and this happened to me once in 2007 or 2008 and it was the most wonderful things for me. it was my first time seeing snow and school was cancelled for a week. the snow was as tall as me, and i was about 5 or 6 at the time.
Just the amount of effort everyone put in like... people actually working together is hard to find these days and it’s nice to see
i am so glad that Baltimore ended up being "The Bullseye" to this snow storm...Not Newyork,or Boston..Baltimore was officially clocked at having 30.8 inches in 24 hours.
Thanks for putting the name of the song in the description!
I was in Loudon County va during the great blizzard of Jan 16
I hope I will live in a snowy climate again and have to deal with the snow. I know it sounds weird, but I would rather do that than overheat in the sun and deal with allergies constantly because of the plant-perfect climate. I miss the quiet nights of a beautiful snow storm.
Nexees Agreed. I like winter WAY better than summer, especially with climate change tweaking the thermostat to “hotter” in the summer. For me, summer nowadays is sweat and stink and mosquitoes biting clear through the bug dope that I have to wear almost constantly from May to November or risk being a human chew toy for those bloodsuckers!
Great video. Thank you for sharing.
The fact that people are helping each other shoveling snow is nice
1x Speed: Slow snow and desolate music
2x Speed: Fast snow and cool rock song
2:15 god that is satisfying!
That is what I grew up with here in Idaho. I swear the snow landscapes are beautiful, but I pray there'd be a way to keep it off the road. It was cool seeing people come out and work together in clearing it, instead of 1 or 2. Helping thy neighbor is always a good thing.
This the best video I've watched so far... It had me concentrated on it😂😂☃️❄️🌨️
Ain't no plow truck gonna touch that! Front end loader time.
Rip to the guy who left his window cracked.
Holy crap! I had to watch it a second time just to see. He sure did leave it open

I'd love to experience something like that myself, we used to have tons of snow when I was younger, but the last couple of years has been really bad 😢
It amazes me how long that took. Thanks for sharing. Two days at the absolute most to clear that in North East. This video has a valuable lesson involved with it. People need to prepare for natural and manmade disasters. What do you do if nobody comes to help your community? Everyone needs a backup plan.

I remember this storm. Can’t believe it was already 4 years ago. But the 2016 Winter was very interesting, not much snow, record warm, dry, then out of no were a massive blizzard. Winter Storm Jonas was the worst blizzard to ever hit my state of New Jersey, we picked up over 30” of snow. Now it’s 2020 Winter, it has been very warm recently but hopefully we get another surprise storm. :)
I remembered this also I was 10 now I’m 16 can’t believe it been 6 years….

Looks so magical. I miss the mountains. Think it’s time to move back.
Wow,living in Quebec, I feel sad that it took so long to get that road shoveled out. Up here were used to massive snow storms, and that storm would have been cleared up by early every day, and regularly every day until the end of winter. Not much ever closes up here due to snow
Right? It was sort of agitating me lol
this kind of snow happens only once every 5-10 years here in Maryland. We got a 2 hour school delay for a potential 1/10 inch of ice (it wasn't below freezing). We just aren't used to it.
Don’t feel bad. We love getting “snowed in” occasionally. It’s a nice break to our normal “go, go, go” culture
Is it funny that I live in Maryland?
No, of course not!
But, this was so cool to experience!
This was the last blizzard I had in my house. It was wonderful. We had a blizzard in January 1995 the very first year I bought my house in a blizzard when I was leaving my house in 2016 a perfect beginning in the end.❤
That is quite a sight and it is satisfying that how the clouds move fast in time lapse.....👍
