- Hi! Today, on the way to my shelter, I fell into heavy snow, the road was very snowy. I prepared firewood, insulated the walls - now my shelter is not afraid of any frost! He has experience. He went for some birch tree bark to light fire. Birch bark has oil in it which is great to start fires with.

Beautiful cabin! Safe place to stay in during snowstorms. The cabin is well built, clean and organized.

Wow living in a house during a snowsturm must really be hard , i have never seen anyone survive a snowfall that was this servire , as i wach this video i am awed by the woodsmans survival instinct and skills, shurely no one else has ever survived falling snow like that especially being inside a small room. I will save this survival video forever for my own family to watch long after i am gone.

Putting the rocks on the stove make a good heat retention ❤
My grandmother would heat cast iron irons, the kind without electricity, on top of the wood stove to place in beds to make the beds warm in winter in Montana. She would wrap the chunks of heavy iron in towels and they would stay warm for a long time.
Love the sound of logs being cut for the fire and the trees in back ground blowing in the wind how restful and peaceful

+Хорошее видео. Когда вы колете щепки для растопки 2:10-2:29, виден существенный риск попасть по пальцам на левой руке. Попробуйте придерживать палочку, по которой бьёте топором не пальцами левой руки, а второй палочкой (25-30 см), которую нужно осторожно отколоть от полешка в начале работы. Потом держите палочку в левой руке, а её свободной стороной прижимайте полешко к земле чтобы не падало. Если и промахнётесь немного топором то попадёте только по палочке.Так вам будет намного безопаснее, быстрее (т.к. можно сильнее бить топором) и, надеюсь, удобнее. Буду рад если в чём-то помог. Успехов)

No ventilated cap or elbow pipe on top the ventilator pipe - to stop rain or snow from coming down the pipe and into the shelter.

... с ходу придумалось как сделать приточную вентиляцию с подогревом: Взять чуть шире трубу - одеть на основную печную по всей длине закрепить(ну т.е. и через крышу проход - сразу 2-х зайцев убъете - термоизоляцию повысите), отступив сверху немного и сделать свой козырек, чтобы осадки не попадали .... вот и будет вам приточка с подогревом! ... только вторую "высокую" приточку придется закрывать на время протопки ... скорее всего основную трубу придется повыше сделать, для разницы высот, чтобы тяга была ... ну и растапливать с открытой верхней приточкой(открытой дверью) ...

Looks cozy enough. I know those oil or kerosene lamps will warm a space as good as anything as long as you've got good, safe ventilation.

no problem, the heated room keeps the temperature at a comfortable level until the morning
