Joe's got such fine attack. That strat deserves a player like him. Bravo.
Joe's attacking my inbox with junk mail that will not go away.
@@1000mg. LOL, yea... it’s true
🤣
A time will come when joe will own all the guitars in the world..
Jan. 9, 2021.
not all guitars, but all worthy and old ones oh yeah !!!
Don’t underestimate John 5s tele collection... it’s unreal
Lol
Part of me thinks that's great. Another part of me wishes hundreds of those were back on the market. But when you got the money and the desire, why not hoard something everyone wants?
Joe is such a great ambassador for the guitar community. Great guy!
Not typically a strat guy but would definitely make an exception for that one.
I was on the Bozo The Clown show c. fall 1966. My first grade class took the bus from Detroit to Windsor, Ontario, where the show was broadcast and we spent maybe 90 minutes on the set with a break in the middle. It was a shock that the set was so colorful, as was Bozo himself, ‘cuz I’d only ever seen the show in b&w! A guy named Art Cervi played Bozo. At the time we didn’t know there were different Bozo actors in different cities. We did two shows, one that went out live and another that was taped for later broadcast. Never got to see either one. ☺️ But it was an exciting day, one of my clearest childhood memories.
Great playing. Wish they made more hardtail strats.
Me too. Especially ones with maple fretboards.
Fender Mod Shop allows you to make it HT 😉
@@Masterfighterx
I know. They just added it as a Mod Shop option this summer. I’m seriously considering it.
Joe is so unbelievable and I think he keeps getting better in everything he does, thanks Norm, and Joe B 🎸🔥🌎🔥
Muddy Waters and Howlin Wolf said a guitar player never quits, he has to play his way out of this world.
Joe and Michael Lemmo are extraordinary to watch..NORMS!!
I saw the Shadows back in 1984 as a 10yr old kid at Blazers in Windsor England, and they were great! Five years later in 1989 I purchased my own Fender Strat from Macaris in London in Fiesta red just like Hank Marvins!!
Upstate New York talent right here baby!
Joe’s noodling is better than most players best and heavily rehearsed songs. Dude never misses.
“But he lacks feel” -every talentless hack on social media
@@matthewtucker1699 Sorry, but if the shoe fits, wear it.🤷♂️
Noodling isn't all that.
David Campbell your right👍🏻
I love joe. Always a good story, always an interesting lesson, and always great playing. Gotta be cool to just sit back and relax and jam with him. Thanks Joe! 🙏
Some players, you just envision them with a certain instrument...whenever you see Joe demonstrating a Strat, it just wouldn’t be right if it was not a hard tail. Timeless playing from a master. Thank you.😀
Joe, don't even joke about retiring, your career has to outlive me
Great Joe wow that's the way to demonstrate that fantastic Srat, Jeff in LA USA
It's true what Norm said ...the Year that never was ... we players , singer , performers ... sellers of instruments , collectors ... we are all one big family waiting to get out and make some music ... I am gigging 2 hours this week and I love it !!! Keep the faith people!
I love the 5 way switch Joe👍
Yeah it’s been a rough year for everybody God bless everyone Joe is clearly One of the best guitarists in the world
Lookin good.
Them's some sweet Strat tones. Classic.
Man I’d love to play a few songs with Joe. What a fantastic player 🤘😎
Joe, the hardest working man in show business!!!! Great guy!
I just wanted to say Joe cool used to be Joe Montana but JB is now the “new” Joe Cool! I would love to hear a hard tail “Sleepwalk” on this so cool guitar! Glad for ya Joe. Plz keep your masks on, don’t listen to any naysayers about COVID. A customer and friend I saw today was in the hospital for the last three weeks and lost 50 pounds and was just taken off oxygen but he looked very sick still so stay vigilant please NRG’s Live to all, and Love 2
Yep,
I’ve been a hard tail fan since I was a teen. Actually the only Stratocaster I care for. And that “54” is nice.....Enjoy that one Joe.
Congrats Joe ! She's a great road dog ! Thanks Norm and Jen ! 😎🎸👍
Wishing you great success with the beautiful 54. And have fun replacing that older 5 way switch on that very cool road dog. 👍🎸
Interestingly, Clapton preferred the sound of a blocked trem Strat instead of a hardtail Strat.
I have a clapton strat and that thing plays like beast
So many sounds
Ahh, some new licks. Nice.
Way to go Jo don’t retire make another CD you rock man keep up the good work👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I love this. Here’s a great guitar that you can’t buy because I already did! JOE HAS SPOKEN!
❤ this Strat 🎸 😌
AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! love it. we will all get through this, Bless from the UK! xxx
Smooth, clean...tasteful.
At this point in time, I would have already seen five to ten shows. Which isn't that much , but the anticipation was almost better than the actual show. Having fun with your friends, road trip to the show, etc.
2 greats together! Norms alright too. Sweet guitar Joe hope to see you on the road with it soon.
I love Joe. Got his merch. That neck gets dirty from finger prints. Joe will take his rare guitars on the road and plays them unlike others. The best concert I've ever been to was Joe's.
My dream. Hard tail and maple fretboard
love you, Joe!
So, you are saying there will be a 2021?
That's the most optimistic thing I've heard today.
It's a hardtail! 🎸
Hard tail Strats are my favorite Fender guitar.
Wow ! You are so the man !
Great playing Joe.. really sweet.
Alot of work went into being able to play like that. Love the songs mountain time and slow gin. Great artist!
.... as the Little Rascals used to say ... "and how!". Unbelievable. Joe just lacks the unique creativity when it comes to song writing, but I love the guy's playing.
Now thats entertainment!!! So funny....thanks guys....and Jen.
rings like a bell 😮
Thanks Joe! That sounded great👍👏
Mr B is great! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
joe b the king of tone!!!
Awesome thanks for sharing JB
Sounds so good!! Yes!!
Great tone
damn , that guy has some mad skills , his speed and dexterity is truly amazing , and what a great sound out of that strat , I would take that guitar in a second , even tho I hate red guitars , just a classic Stevie sound on the neck and middle , but pure Joe on the lead p/u , I have two strats , and I luv them both , the are just so versatile and fantastic sounding , not quite as smooth as this one but on a straturday , it is the shit, thanks guys.
wow Joe doesn't stop to amaze me with his playing
Mr.B looking forward to hearing your new album. 🎸🎛️🎸🎛️🎸🎛️🎸
Wooooooooooowwww
Joe is such a nice boy.
That is shameless which makes it better. Always awesome Joe!!!
But...what kind of a lovely voice has this girl?? I'm in love!💕
That was perfectly splendid!!
Nice
how do you guys not have over 1 million subs yet your channel is awesome
Pretty rad. On my own Straturday", just my mid '80s Arbor Woodstock style. Rotating the herd. More Trower this time.
Had a '75 HT, SB, MN. I miss it all the time.
I love my SSS strat as is but now I want to swap out to a hard tail after watching this. Joe will always be my fav guitarist
Damn that's awesome!
OOOOOooo!! Red, '54, hard-tail, maple neck, original switching!! a real musicians' tool!!!
Sounds just like if Joe was playing my new strat. Nuttin amazing here
Stellar playing 👌🏻
Get Joe back on tours ASAP..! He’s bored and buying up all the guitars...!
👍 for hardtail strats!
Make sure you bring that to Peoria next year. Seen you there earlier this year before everything shut down.
Whoa!
I feel for Joe. You can hear the frustration in his voice over not being able to gig.Understandably. Hang in there and hope to see that Strat on stage soon Joe!
So cool to see Joe casually swapping out for Lemmo!
My god how good he plays
Someone get Norm a hip lookin' mask. I love you Norm!
hey joe when are your 51 no casters coming out...cant wait to see you again at The Bakersfield fox
Nice!!!
THANK YOU 😊 I JUST BOUGHT YOUR CHERRY 🍒 BURST TODAY FROM ARTHUR'S MUSIC STORE in INDIANAPOLIS. Saw the AMOS EPIPHONE not for sale... On display signed by You. Looking forward to PLAYING MY NEW CHERRY BURST
Laura? I went to school in Indiana 35 miles north of Indy with a Laura Moore. Nice gal. Cool .... and so is the purchase!
Ya I'm EXCITED! I didn't go to school in Indiana though.
How much does a 54 refin like that cost. Can’t imagine many pop up that are refinished?
This one made an appearance in a Paul David’s video « My holy grail guitar » or something like that and it was 37.900$
@@arnonono131 How much?!?! I’ve casually had my eyes on the market for a pre-CBS Strat or Tele refin and I’ve seen them generally go from $10K to $25K, with the more changes from original, the less expensive the example. Perhaps the year has some affect on the price too, but almost $40K for an otherwise less than fully original? Maybe if the Fender Custom Shop did the resto? That’s nuts
@@arnonono131 that was a different guitar. It was original
@@robertpierce6444 You’re right my mistake it was a 64 in the other vid, but Joe Bonamassa still owned it 😂
@@danwilson9530 original 54 strats are usually around 60.000$ but ... originals
Круто играете , приятно видеть когда есть такие коллеги! Я тоже с вами)
Исполняю различные каверы на гитаре, как акустика так и электро)
🎸
I feel like this store will one day be renamed Norman Joe's Rare Guitars.
Cool.
I could divorce my wife for that guitar 😎
Just paint her Dakota Red ;)
@@davidcampbell4174 I did it, but she didn't like it 😝
i own it now😀
Woooow
I am always buying guitars for a tour I don't have lmao
Joe Bonamassa would have some great guitars to buy if he ever decided to scale down his collection, trouble is because of who he is the price is immediately higher than the guitar is worth just as a guitar.
This tone is unbelievable! Sounds like he’s using a compressor maybe? Would love to know what amp is being used and if there’s a compressor in line. Regardless, fantastic strat tone. Damn.
Another refin with jumbo frets zzzzzzzz play dream on Joe
I came here for Joe's guitar wisdom
🎸👍
Love the vids
Is that a reiisue custom shop hardtail?
Norms done a great job of selling all those hardtail Strats..personally they just aint a proper Strat..but some goons will by them...
How common are vintage hardtail Strats? IIRC, hardtail's were a bit cheaper than Strats that had the trem
It won’t be long if you need to buy a tweed amp or Stratocaster you Will have to go to JOE 😃
Didn't Joe buy one like that last year? Of course 2 is better than 1 so that's up to him.
