I'll never own a JB cd, or go to a JB concert, but I can listen to him tell stories and kick out lil licks all day long. Go Figure.
Listen to his music, go see him live, he is INCREDIBLE!!!!!!
You’re Missing out buddy . This old guy is still always looking to improve, in anyway possible, and going to a Joe Bonamassa concert is motivating, entertaining and money well spent. It’s the best night of the year too( sorry honey).
I’ve never listened to his music ,or know anyone into his music, but he ALWAYS sells out the local Fox…. Somehow makes loads of money to afford these things. So power to the people who support him.
I have nothing against the guy, just was never into blues (besides muddy and king).
That’s the realest comment in all of guitar CZcams
Amazing how Joe is always so willing to share his wealth of knowledge and is such a down to earth guy. There aren't many guys like him out there.
That was very kind that Mark took time out to mention the passing of Ed King which I loved seeing him pop up on guitar videos .
R.I.P. Ed !!!!!!!
When Ed King was in "Lynyrd Skynyrd", Ronnie Van Zandt, used to use him as a "Punching Bag", and he got tired of the abuse, and left the band!! It's a shame how Ronnie treated him, and "Lynyrd Skynyrd" lost a great talent!!
I love Joe and his passion for vintage guitars. You can tell his love and appreciation for the art of collecting...it also helps to be one of the best guitarists in the world that's a millionaire with enough disposable income to purchase whatever he wants. He's a virtuoso and can't help but playing a guitar if it's in his hands. He legitimately can't go more than 30 seconds without playing a riff.
The art of collecting??
Norm!!! There is a simple silent switch located on the side of that iPhone!!!!!!!
I could see, and rewatch this over and over again! I love this story's on the couch with Norm, Joe, Mark and everyone invited telling their stories. I'm a geek myself, a little geek 😁 Kind regards from Belgium.
I drove my parents crazy playing "Incense and Peppermints" sad to lose Ed King. I appreciate these videos, the memories everybody shares are great...
These are the videos I love the most, great stories and great playing.
I really enjoy these type of videos where Norm participates by sharing stories, talking about guitars or to guitarists and when he discusses what he just bought; especially when it's multiple guitars.
Beautiful gear, and JB has the tone at his fingers!!!!
We're doing tubba them next week. Cool Joe 😎 God bless you guitar man " turn it up" Ed King!
Jeez Norm, couldn't you take ten seconds to thank Jen for all her contributions to the store? :-)
white knight
Best guitar videos out there ever Joe Bonamassa is just a great guy so is Norm and his staff thank you Jen for the videos
I love the finish on that 60'.
My two fav guitars. Gotta love those 60's necks.
You 60s lovers and your small hands...
I love this guitar, and all the guitars on the walls behind the couch, as well as this laid back talk session. But I couldn't take my eyes off that 2 tone submariner.
You can see norms pride in joe watching him grow from 12 must have been very good to norm over the years and i think it shows hes almost like a dad to joe love the continuous joe and norm collaborations its makes the channel like nothing else and thank you for creating the amazing videos you do norm your a one of a kind guy in all the best ways!
Kind words for Ed King (RIP), very sad. Good to see JOE, great sounding Cousin Jethro!!!
Coo; convo. Good to see brother Nick.
Gorgeous "1960 Sunburst"!! RIP Ed King!!
Joe can play those standard blues licks but make them sound exciting all over again.
I've got a custom shop re-issue of this LP and it rocks!
God Bless you Dear Norm always rewatch I got your excellent videos and what a treat with Joe there Priceless! Prayers Sir .
I'm very happy to have found this series of videos Norm put up. I have earned a great deal about vintage guitars from them, the ting I like the most is that I discovered Joe Bottamoso. I can not wait until he comes to Heashey Pa again
Great chat guys. Be nice to see more of this type of video.
I love how much oomph the attack of that thing has.
I f'n love this channel. You guys are wonderful
All class acts but Jen should get a thumbs up Norman. RIP Mr King
one of the best looking LP i've ever seen in my life!
what a beautiful axe! It really sings
It's fun watching you guys just shooting the "sh@t." A historic musical education as well.
I swear I am trying hard to listen and watch but that black les Paul has my full attention. I need that in my life
great "on the couch" segment guys
I have a 1992 Les Paul Classic which is a reissue of a 1960 Standard. It has the thinnest neck I've ever seen an weighs only 8lb 2oz. Amazing guitar.
That les Paul sounds great!!
hope Norm's discovered the "Silent Mode" switch by now, SMH
Beautiful burst on that one
It honestly sounds more like a tele with hums. The sound is so sharp and crisp, no other les Paul sounds like that. Only teles
I was thinking it may be my favorite sounding burst. Maybe low output pickups?
Nice 'hang' ! I have an EPI LP Std + in CSB that i like alot. Often thought about leaving it out in the Cali sun to get a fade like Joe's '60. I think they 'fixed' the finish so that wouldn't happen. Blues Cruise. Marcus King!!! That vid from a few years back still SLAYS me!
Bad Boy! don't put any good axe out in the sun, as the precious neck will warp!!
Come on Norm. Turn your damn phone onto silent and give some kudos to Jen.
hes running a business during filming
Jen was prankin' him lol
Hey Norman turn that fcukin’ phone off you jerk !!
You should know better.
Norm....the phone man! Shut down the phone! I love you shows.....even with the phone on.
My good friend plays in a band on carnival cruise...employed through bb king blues club I recon....could hang right with Joe or anyone else here...honest
I'll take fifteen minutes with M. Bonamassa anytime, thanks!!!
Gross. Be sure to clean up afterwards.
0:11 Reppin the house of Guitars! Love it!
Norm, you need to petition CZcams to add a ❤ button just for when Joe is on...
Could you do a review on that john lennon gibson les paul
What do you mean by “unfortunately it sounds like me playing a Les Paul”? To me that is one of best things in the world. 😀👌🏻
Kool Stuff look at all those git fiddles ! :)
Wow look at that ! 4 whole Left handed guitars !
"Unfortunately it sounds like me playing a Les Paul." Love it! LOL!!!
If you watched this 'til the end - you just know that Joe left with Norm's watch. That guy would sell his grandma for $10.
Very cool
Loved that Ted Greene got some love here. Got into teles because of him. Also how does JB know so much about vintage gear!
His Dad was an instrument Dealer/Broker.
GOOOOOOOD OL' COUSIN JETHRO!
Joe Bonamassa is one cool bluesman, yeah! 👍
obrigado por publicar comentários sobre estas obras iluminada por Deus e feita
por homens desta terra um grande abraço a todos vocês meus irmãos Americanos
South of Brazil
I don't play the guitar. I would still hangout and listen to these guys talk shop
That vintage pre cbs ringtone.
cant wait to see bonamassa this fall in Stockholm!
4:52 little section of leftys over Joe's shoulder
Do they always record these videos after hours cos I always never see customers browsing around?
When Mr B. says that Ed King was a member of our forum. Which forum was he speaking of?
So nice you talking about Ted
Norm is always so Cool !
Nice Guitar!👊
That burst sounds fantastic. I’ll take the ‘63 ES-335 over the burst any day though.
Got to say that, ignorantly, I have no idea who Joe is. Just found out about Norm’s Rare Guitars, so I have lots of catching up to do. Initially, didn’t quite “get” Joe, but he’s an acquired taste. I’m doing some acquiring. Cool dude for sure. Nerdy. And that brings more in my mind than so much more. He’s passionate. He’s down to earth. No more to say. Got some more digging to do. And digging good music, and those who make it… for sure. Thanks to Norm for a new drain on my time :-)….
♥️♥️🎸Gretsch BluesGUITAR'S,Dubro's, DoubleNeck's!! Some day soon we'll see Joe Bonamassa play a CIGARbox Guitar
Nice episode Fam
"unfortunately it sounds like me playing a Les Paul" lol
WHATS A < LES PAUL LOL > ??? IS THAT A NEW MODEL ??
@@harleykingman I guess you didn't see the end quotes after 'paul'?
I just wanted to say I thought that quote was pretty funny, hence the 'lol'. it actually made me laugh out loud
Tremendous tone
Yep sounds like one of the best guitarists in the world playing one of the best guitars money can buy....
Forever remember Ed King😞
God, I remember I was out on the route and walked up to this house and these kids had the widow open and I heard Sweet Home Alabama. Joes's little riff reminded me. But, there was never a song I hated much more than Free Bird.
Ted greene was definitely one of the best, chord chemistry is that book that will teach you amillion A chords lol
RIP Ed King.
early pat sticker pickups are identical in construction to the late pafs . the only difference is the sticker .you can get early patent number pickups for less then some boutique winders are charging for paf clones .
When Joe starts playing at 2:10 ish, he holds that guitar fairly interesting
Playing a LP on a couch is always a pain in the neck lmao. The big rounded body always gives me a problem so I have to angle it akwardly
Nice shirt
JB: “What kind of watch is that?” JB has ADD... Hilarious!
It's a steel/gold Rolex Submariner
Joe is such a tasty little player and that guitar sounds gret!
NOW HERE THIS! NOW HERE THIS!!!! WE WILL NNNNNOTTTT! LOSE ANYONE ELSE!!!!! Y'ALL STAY HEALTHY & STRONG & WWWWWONNNNNDERFULLL!!!! & JOYYYYYYOYS & HAPPPPPY!
Ya HEAR?!?
Ted sounds a great guy !
That's a gorgeous Les Paul. It would be much happier in my hands!
I'm puzzled...that bridge doesn't look like a '60 bridge...Unless I missunderstood something...someone can explain that to me?
I KNEW I was saying SWWWWWWEEEEET JOE BONANZA for a reason!!!!
Yes Sorry about Ed King. Had No idea that JB was gonna play Sweet Home Alabama!!! LOVE that Color
Does anyone know about Hoyer guitars....cant find my particular guitar on the net but it looks identical to a 1965 Gibson es 335 down to the color of felt in the case. Mint condition too... I thought Hoyer, a German company was around before Gibson...Hoyer founded 1874 Gibson much later 190? I think.... so who copied who??. or was Hoyer just an older unsuccesful guitar company that copied everyone else who came along...just curious... Thanks.....
Sure you might not mean Hohner guitars? Same German company that makes mouth organs?
Happy birthday Jack.
How's it feel.
Man I live through these vidios.i would be happy with an Epiphone. I want one or a Gibson so bad ..I save up then something in life happens where I have to spend it
Looks like a frank Sidoris from Slash’s band In the background window shopping!
R.I.P Ed King !
Love you ted rip
I love ya Norm but TURN YOUR PHONE OFF MAN!
Nothing like a guy telling a heartfelt story about a friend passing and a phone keeps going off. Really disrespectful.
Like your phone has never gone off at an inappropriate time. We all do it, even Norm.
AND TURN UR IGNORANT SON OFF TOO , 4 GOOD !!!!!!!!!!
Maybe once. But 5 times. Not trying to be hard on Norm but damn.
Money is more important than Joe don't you think.
hey Mark, you play authentic!! ^^
Gibson Les Paul Goldtop IS THE BEST GUITAR IN THE WORLD. My father gave me this guitar that he use for 43 years. I have the original amplifier and the strap and case. I say it is the best guitar BECAUSE it has NEVER lost its original sound, it has a sound with body, substantial and fat sound. This guitar is from 1955 ( late ) with its 90’s pickups. My father protected it AS A DAUGHTER, and NEVER NEVER NEED REPAIRS BECAUSE IS GBSON.
Norm Sir you are a Class Act a Historian a Legend to be Respected Sir !!!
I would just love to sit on that leather couch some day & jam on a cool Les Paul or Strat
Aww come on Norm, at the end of the video, no love for Jen?
I bet the teacher Joe was talking about was Carmen Caramanica. Local guy.
Is that the guy from Gibson video ?
the red spot on joes 60.... reminds me of Ed's red eye...
The red spot is from the original hang tag preventing that area from fading.
There are are few like that out there.☺️😊
Joe B is a fantastic person
