  • Elon Musk is visiting Beijing with media reports saying he aims to discuss enabling autonomous driving mode on Tesla cars in China.
Mr Musk wants to enable Full Self Driving (FSD) in China and transfer data collected in the country abroad to train its algorithms.
FSD is available in countries including the US but not in China.
The news came after a US report tied Tesla's autonomous driving modes to at least 13 crashes, involving one death.

China will develop into a developed country. The popularization rate of higher education in China is 50%. Don't compare China with India. Low-end manufacturing will definitely move to India, but it is not enough to rely on charity from western countries to become a developed country. China is now being blocked by the West, and China people know that it needs free competition to become a leading country in the world. . It is good for India to take China as its goal, and the last word is to develop education and retain talents. The 21st century is the Asian century.

@@batman-nx9srAll based on facts from Reuters or bloomberg.. Full self-driving has been hindered in China, for both domestic and international brands. Business leaders' visits are pre-planned and scheduled, and just like a CEO of a Top 500 company, they wouldn't cancel their Davos summit meeting for no good reason. The reality is that India is not currently Elon Musk's top priority; China is key to their business objectives and growth. It's doubtful that Tesla can afford CAPEX worth billions of dollars in India, given the slow pace, bureaucracy, ever-changing commercial laws, and business environment there. The ROI from such an investment wouldn't make sense. Additionally, Reliance India wants the Indian government to host an auction for exclusive satellite broadband rights, while SpaceX only deals with open licenses for all. If Elon is forced to bid at auction, it's unlikely he'll be interested in India.

Have you seen the self driving buses and taxi in China. Have you seen the "mapless" self driving car from Huawei Aito? Sefl driving software is almost standard to many Chinese EV cars. It is not a big deal. In fact, I think Chinese self driving car software is better than Tesla.

Came here to read the Indian bot's comments, wasn't disappointed. How will the extremely superpower India punish this guy for his insolence? You do not simply arrange a meeting with Narendra Modi and cancels it at the last minute. That is not cool, bro. What is even worse is that you had cancelled this meeting just for China. 😆😁😅😏
