This song should have won
Just learned that Alyn Ainsworth, the conductor of this entry, passed away just shy of 5 months after this performance. He also conducted the UK entries from 1975-1978, including Save Your Kisses For Me, which won in 1976. Rest in Peace.
This should have won Eurovision
Fantastic backing vocals!
Give a Little Love ❤❤❤️❤❤ Back to the WORLD ❤❤❤🎉😊🎉😊🎉❤❤❤❤
It's a beautiful song.❤
I have always really liked this song, Miriam Stockley is performing heroics in this number which really adds to the whole song, I still like it now.
Miriam Stockley was fabulous here! Solid entry from the UK.
It’s a shame this didn’t come out nowadays
Greate❤🎉😊
We've come so far on this great planet
We should be proud of all the great things we've achieved
But in our search for life's great knowledge
We go on takin' out and never plant new seeds
Give a little love back to the world
We can't go on takin' out forever
Give a little love back to the world
We still got time, let's do it together
Give a little love back to the world
We've got to stop, think of tomorrow
One day our children may have nothing left to share
Let's do it now, then in the future
They will look back at us with pride and know we cared
Give a little love back to the world
We can't go on takin' out forever
Give a little love back to the world
We still got time, let's do it together
We got no time to hesitate
Tomorrow it may be too late
Give a little love back to the world
We can't go on takin' out forever
Give a little love back to the world
We still got time, let's do it together
We still got time, we can do it together
Give a little love back to the world
(Give a little love back) to the world
"Give a little love back to the World", they sing. With three planetkilling units of hairspray in Emma's hair. Well, the song itself is brilliant and sweet. 12 points to the UK 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
😂 that's a good one😂😂😂😂
😅😅😅
Love this
If you want to hear more about this fab song my friend emil has a podcast called Eurovision legends, there are 2 fab episodes with Paul Curtis.. Fab song, and Miriam Stockley is a legend too.
A good song.
This Song should have won Eurovision Song Contest beautiful brilliant Song brilliant Singers
Love the bit at 2:20 when Emma turns round to look at Miriam, probably thinking WTF!
Anthem words, Anthem esc soft pop composition...heard a dozen times before then. Ema is a perfect vocalist.
But....that year there was only place for one another anthem....not the world's one , but the european....and it was the orchestrated pop-rock anthem in a much refreshing way from these kinds of songs on esc by then.
Love from Turkey
Perhaps this is one of the top 3 songs of that Eurovision year. this reminds me of Nicole's winning entry in 1982, A little peace, Nicole sang a couple of lines in other languages. But legends here in Paul Curtis, Miriam, Emma. IT was one of those years in which was no stopping Toto from winning, they had also World Cup going and so on. This song is a timeless classic though!
Fabulosa
Como casi siempre
El pop inglés
Una de las mejores de aquel año
Should have won best. Song
❤❤❤
You to Emma angel queen Michael
Superb song. Pity that it did not win.
Uma pena que o condutor dessa canção faleceu após alguns meses dessa apresentação. Que descanse em paz!
Se mereció mejor puesto
I love it
Loved it then
Still love it today ❤
Rick flair love the hair
Hands up if you had this hairstyle 👋🤣
Just about every girl in my year at school had this hair style at the time
This song is so cowardly about its main message. Somehow I don't think "searching for life's great knowledge" is the main motivation for deforestation and oil fracking.
Were they sure that the message had been from UK ? They would support the USA during the Iraq invasion that year.
Who cares
Could be an extinction rebellion song
