This song should have won. It had everything. Tune. Lyrics. Politics. Cheese. What more could it have had?
I love this song so much!❤️
For the life of me, I'll never understand how this fantastic song didn't get first place, not to mention how it came last.
Such beutifull song and performence. Loved it then love it now
Same ❤
This is so typical Eurovision. An anthem to remember
It deserved a much better place
One of my favourite songs ever
Underrated
Brilliant song, performed with pathos and poise. Perhaps not a winner, but deserved to come a lot closer to that than it did.
They placed last. One of the most underrated songs at the ESC
I second that! A very good memorable song that deserved much more.
What?!? I didn't know that watching random old ESC videos and presumed this was a winner or at least a high placer. This is definitely better than some winners imo.
I really liked this song. It was my second favourite after Ireland.
I agree, one of the best norwegian ESC songs in my opinion
One of the best last places ever
The people of Norway thank thee...😊
Schöner Song!
Er hat einen höheren Platz verdient 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻♥️
I really wonder if Norway has ever had a better entry at ESC
a very underrated song that year ...............should have been placed higher
In my TOP 10 ALL time fave Euro songs 👍🏽🥰🏆👏🏽🥳🎊
We were happy they played a few bars of this at the 2024 Eurovision Semifinal 2! Such a great song!
Great song
A me la canzone piace molto, bravo ketil, brave coriste, coristi e bravissima la orchestra con un bravo direttore, canzone meravigliosa.
I picked this to win on the night. And you just have to love that Bolero jacket
they couldn't handle how dope this song is
You don't even understand the words
jeg elsker denne sangen🙂

2:28... The immersion, the power, the passion. Pretty damn metal really.
excellent interpretation and great voice why last place?
I guess Norway was Europes UK back then, many times we deserved better scores, yeah a lot of non winner songs previous. But many were not last place songs.
This song was not too bad actually. Should never got last place.
Buena voz
FELICIDADES
I think Ketil & his group were just unlucky with this one. There were other songs with references to the wall coming down at this contest and songs about gathering people together. It is well performed and the chorus sticks in the mind , but it was treated as just one more song on a similar theme. Ketil is a talented performer/ composer.
Toto cotugno
Odd that they went for the onstage rhythm section when the orchestra is actually doing this entirely live (and this is probably their best performance of the night too).
Yeah, it's simply because Ketil wanted to have his band with him on stage.
...in a suit that would frighten Georgio Armani!
minor classic!!
Cute.
Die Idee war nicht so gut - dennoch zu gut für den letzten Platz
Great song, underrated indeed. This festival meanwhile has become a show of clowns and idiots with a complete lack of musical taste, skills and expertise.🎃
Political song. 0 points.
Insieme wasn't political?
I think you mean "political song sung in a black suit - 0 points".
Political song sung in a white suit: winner.
It was aimed to be positive. Very few people in the early 90s were negative to the Berlin wall being destroyed. It was an age of optimism and this song captures this in a beautiful way. Even the russians were fed up of communism and wanted capitalism.
practically all the songs from 1990 were political, Ireland, UK, Germany etc all sent songs with political messages and the winning song was literally a pro-EEC fanfare piece.
This year was all about politics
CRAP
The song's message is actually hopeful and optimistic. Check the English lyrics of it. 😊
