Found their debut album on vinyl in my sisters collection 30+ years ago and still can’t get enough of it. Definitely one of the greatest bands most people have never heard of.
Freakin' righteous to see these guys sounding so good, so many years on! Blendings of AOR, melodic rock, power pop, hard rock and prog - WHO does that?! Well, New England did - and hearing that a new album is being worked on as an outgrowth of these shows?! Come on - it's good to be alive 'n still rocking, folks! THANKS Ann for uploading this for us who were not there to enjoy.... Truly great to see that these guys are still good friends and having a rawking time hanging and creating...and more great to see such a passionate fan espouse his passion for the band and give him such a touching gift at 1:12:00. Is he the host? (if so, NIIICCEE digs, dude!) Who is he? You, sir...rock. I'm buying you virtual premium tequila shots right now...
Four of the original members of a late 70s band still playing live is something that is a rare animal in the 21st century. New England was a drastically underrated group even in its day. I'm thinking a New England, Cheap Trick and KISS tour for the 'End of the Road' shows. Once reasonable life is allowed to resume in the early 2020's.
Fantastic !!! Thanks for recording this show ! Surprising were the acoustic songs from John. What a great musician ! Hope to see them someday live on stage. At the moment it will be a dream !
Spent time as a tech for the band Alcatrazz which had Jim and Gary I did Jimmy's keyboards as one of many tasks . So. they were so kind and very consistent . Love this band great songs , they still hold up musically, these song had strength and shelf life .
They were supposed to be the biggest band out of Boston at the time. Bigger than Boston, the Cars, Aerosmith. Not sure what happened. Pick up John Fannons solo album. Really good!
One of the greatest American prog and hard rock bands.
Always an excellent yet underrated band!
One of the best bands ever...
This happened because of Nanci! At her house! What a gift to Lenny! R.I.P. sweet lady, and THANK YOU for this AMAZING memory! ❤😊
