I remember u guys well from fall of 79! I bought the 8-track back then, picked it up on vinyl later. Loved your sound, good tunes, glad to see u guys are still rockin'!
Excellent reunion concert...gotta love all the SUPER BLACK HAIR COLOR drummer Hirsh Gardner was sporting! At least guitarist/lead vocalist John Fannon doesn't mind at all, showing off all his gray; AND still a great head of hair, he does have! I kind of wish there was just more then a single action camera shot, shooting the video, that REALLY lacked, but luckily, the audio was recorded with multi-track and there was time invested into properly mixing down all the live audio tracks and the multi-layering keyboard signals coming from Jimmy Waldo, which greatly helped the finished audio mix sound EXTRA FULL, in contrast to the single camera angle. Gary Shea was humbly adding great bottom end to the whole finished product. A great job to 1979's "NEW ENGLAND"! BCRadio
Nice to see Japan still appreciates great rock and roll music. New England is a drastically underrated band of the late 70s and early 80s. This band along with Starz and Cheap Trick should be the opening acts on the KISS, End of the Road tour ultimately.
I've been loving on you guys since '79! I love this song, played it for a lot of girls in the meantime. LOL. I'm glad you guys are still rocking it good!
Thank you for responding! It gives me the opportunity to say thank you for your music and thank you for one helluva great night back in '79. I have seen many shows since then, but, you guys were the very first concert I had ever attended. Kiss was the headliner, but New England was the first to take the stage. Awesome night guys! (side note, Kiss has never responded to anything I have ever said to them on social media) It's safe to say, I am a fan for life. You guys are a total class act! Thank you for being about the music and for being a real down to earth band. I apologise for being long winded here, but that night, that show, meant a lot to me and I'm happy I am able to tell you that. You are very right, it never does get old. Peace
Love you guys. Saw you open for the Outlaws in my hometown of Shelton, CT. This song still chokes me up, more so now that I’m divorced. Still sound great.
This band is so good they should have been huge. Criminal that they were not. All of their albums are excellent. ❤
Still holds up strong and sounds every bit as amazing as it did when it came out all those years ago.
Still sounds great, I had the original album!
oh yeah, me too, wore it out
Excellent song! I had the original cassette tape of this and played it until it was nearly7 worn out! Great cruisin' music.
Takes me all the way back to the late 70s......it was my all time favorite for a long time, and still ranks towards the top!
Played this song in almost every band I was ever in. Saw them open for Kansas in Mobile in 1980. First album is still one of the best debuts ever!
Played my drums along to this album. Broke my first drum stick to this song 😊
LIVE - Fine performance of a fine song. REAL Band.
Such a great song! Being in Japan when they played this, I'm so disappointed I didn't know about the concert.
Still sounding great!
