Have you a pattern for this aswell to download??? It's gorgeous
The link to the written pattern in in the description box.
Amazing !!!
You probably dont give a shit but if you're stoned like me atm then you can watch pretty much all the new movies on instaflixxer. I've been watching with my gf during the lockdown :)
@Leonel Trenton Yup, have been watching on InstaFlixxer for months myself =)
How do I repeat r5 over r6 ?
Is this pattern also called "wheat ear"?
can you please tell me how do you make the starch mixture and what kind of starch do you use ?
I use potato starch. Mix 3 tablespoons of starch with 1/2 cup cold water. Boil 3 cups of water and slowly add starch mixture to boiling water, stirring constantly. Remove from the stove and continue stirring for 1-2 minutes. Let cool. Take your bookmark and soak it in this solution, then squeeze out excess solution and place the bookmark flat on a towel, stretch and straighten the bookmark to needed shape. You can also use pins to pin it down to the towel. Leave to dry.
I hope this helps!
@@OlgaPoltava Thank you very much! appreciate your time and efforts
@@EngRANEEM6 You are very welcome! :)
Hi, could u plz do a video on blocking n stretching .I am new to this concept. Thank you
Hi Huma, yes, next time I make a thread project, I'll show how I block it!
@@OlgaPoltava I Olga, have you already made this video about blocking? It's going to be the first time I will do this, so I m also very curious, thank you already for your time and effort. Byebye😀
How much yarn is required for this?
I didn't measure exactly. Just a small amount.
Whats the hook size ?
Boye steel hook size 5, I think it's equivalent to either 1.25 mm or 1.5 mm. You can work with either one, whatever is the most comfortable for you.
👏👏👏🍀💝🌹

A crochet in uk terms knowns as treble which is double in us terms.
Wish you'd explain terms
Hi! That's a good point you make, thank you! I should probably start mentioning that in my videos. I live in California, so I write all of my patterns in the US crochet terms, but I do have a world wide audience on my channel, so I need to keep that in mind! Again thank you so much for your helpful comment!
Timestamps row five 08:45 row six 11:48
I did not complete it because I did not understand how can I repeat row 5&6. !!!!!! And you are so fast. I stoped in the middle of the work. You need to use different and bigger yarn and hook.
Thank you for your comment and feedback! I greatly appreciate them! I'll keep in mind using bigger hook and yarn for my tutorials, and to go slowly!
Olga Poltava your welcome. This bookmark is sooo beautiful. I will try to do it again later.
U should start the vedio from row 5 again after u complete the row six so u will understand the meaning of repeating row 5 6 ... After 6 row will complete u simply back your vedio tu row 5 and start it.
Really sad I couldn't follow this video....Yarn was too dark for my eyes to see and as a learner I like to look.
Off to hopefully find another video with this pattern as made all the other feathers I can find 😔
Hi Elly, I'm sorry my tutorial didn't work out for you. That's a valid point about the yarn being too dark. This was one of my very first videos, so it's not the best unfortunately.
@@OlgaPoltava NO worries...Sadly I couldn't find any other pattern like yours but I have subscribed and look forward to seeing what else you make. (I have a condition which means I struggle to see different shades, especially in darker colours so often have this problem)
Your yarn is too dark to follow through.
Yes, that's a very good point. That was one of my very first videos and since than I try not to use dark color yarn for my tutorials.
You should never use dark yarn when doing a tutorial.
Good point! Thank you! Happy New Year!
Ur video is messed up
Thank you for letting me know! I would greatly appreciate it if you could give me more information, so that I could improve my future videos! Could you share what exactly is messed up? Thank you!
@@OlgaPoltava hey Olga evey time I view ur video it glitches I have tried several times now because I love the picture of ur pattern
It is not at all visible how you crochet, the image is very blurry and the thread is too dark, so I couldn’t do crochet, disliked
I couldn't see what she was doing and I couldn't hear her so I guess I won't be making this. It's a beautiful bookmark just can't see it hear the video.
For other people it was a great video, good vision en sound. Also for me, I don't have any problems or complaints about it.
Image is very clear for me, perhaps you need to change the lighting on your monitor?
