I have learned, so much, and had so many hours of joy watching your matchless talent. You are one of my channels that I stop everything when you show up! Oh Olga, out of all the crochet videos I watch, your are the absolute best! Your attention to detail is second to none! Your work is of "old world crochet" such as done by my great grandmother who taught me. Also my husband's grandmother who was from Poland. I still have many of the beautiful articles she crocheted. There is another youtuber I follow who haa a subscription fee for 8 to 12 lovely afghan patterns and the only thing they record on youtube is the finished product and info on where to go to buy their patterns. Peehaps this may be an option for your patterns. I have Raveley and Etsy as well. Can I find yoyr pattern shop under your name or do you have a specific store name? And just so you know, I have created patterns as well and know firsthand how difficult and time consuming it is and $5.00 is not too much to ask for a pattern. In fact, most people do not attribute value to an item unless they pay for it. You have more than proven your worth and I don't blame you at all for wanting to leave youtube or being tired of "takers" I will miss your videos and your gentle and kind approach and will seek out your patterns on Etsy or Ravelry. Btw, which venue is better for you for me to purchase from? Thank you Olga for your relentless generosity and Bless you and your children!❤

You are a very talented lady and I often watched your videos for the sake of seeing your very pretty designs. I'm more of a knitter and only crochet on occasions, but one of your patterns peaked my interest and I always wanted to make it. I have now gone and purchased the pattern on ravelry, and I don't think it too expensive because I know how much time and work goes into designing something. I'm sorry to see you go, but I do understand. When people maliciously try to take your living from you it hurts. I hope to see you again one day. Hi Miss Olga I've watched crochet videos on you tube for years. I've been thinking about doing it myself. But then I see how cruel people are towards each other. I just want to do it because crochet is my comfort zone and I want to share it. But videos like this have deterred me not to. I love watching the videos I have watched from you. I'm so sorry this is happening to you There is another way to use the channel that will help you generate money. Just do a short and link the pattern to the short. Quit giving it away for free. People are so happy to take and never give. Bless you and your sons.

I have appreciated you and your crochet tutorials and all the excellent work you have done with making your videos. I think and hope I understand. Perhaps after a break and rest in the future you can use your website for streaming and selling patterns in your own online store, and possibly share a page with 3-4 other specific Crocheters, as a team if you like that idea, a doily lady, a blanket lady, a clothing lady etc. I agree with you about the bad change in You Tube. You have more control with your website and don't have to pay fees to their platforms etc. You are a talented lady with a gentle spirit. I have enjoyed your videos very much. You started me into white thread crochet! I am loving it now. I hope I see you and your work in the future! Oh Olga, yours was the first channel I came to as a learner to teach myself how to make something as a gift, you guided me through every step with your wonderful explanations (and I adore the way you say crochet), and enabled me to make something I never thought possible. I am so sorry that things have become so cruel when it comes to people targeting your shop, there are so many people coming into this space now where crochet designers such as yourself are being treated so poorly by new crocheters who believe that they are owed content and free patterns. Honestly this has made me revaluate how I have been using your videos and I will now be going and purchasing the two patterns I used to make a cardigan and a scarf because you are RIGHT, you do deserve to make money, and no one is entitled to your hard work for free! Dear Olga, I am desperately sorry about this. I know that a lot of really good artists have a hard time making enough money to just cope with life. I am horrified that people can be so cruel as to put nasty comments on your shops. It is difficult enough under normal circumstances to make an honest living. I have never made one of your patterns, but I am absolutely a fan of your wonderful videos. I wish I had money to buy all your patterns. Just be aware that there are more people who love and support you, than people who are haters and want to destroy everyone who looks successful. As a retired teacher, I subscribe to many crochet channels on You Tube and in fact, have a channel myself. I have watched you for awhile and have always appreciated your makes. I contacted you recently to ask permission to take your Rabbit Tracks Baby Blanket patters and adapt it to make a 'Somebunny' in the Meadow Blanket for my channel. You graciously allowed me to do that very thing and now there are blankets hopping all over the United States! I have always given credit to you as the original designer, mentioning and thanking you each episode. We have been working on this very blanket during the month of July and are using this last Sunday to put on a special border. My channel was started in January and I have found the streets of this crocheting community to have been very friendly and helpful. I am dismayed to hear that you have been treated with disrespect. I do hope that this break is temporary until the ugly dies down and you can return with more of the beautiful things you have to offer. I always enjoy your videos. You have beautiful patterns even bought some in the past . Lately some channels are experiencing burn out and getting stressed trying to keep up making videos. I also want to point out to new crocheters that watching a video tutorial is helpful but when you buy the pattern and crochet along with the video you are learning how to read a pattern for only a few dollars. It’s unfortunate that this is the result of such selfishness. I’m sorry you’ve had to deal with this. Wishing you the best and I hope you have better days from here.

Wow that is absolutely horrible to hear that people do that, leaving comments like that. I am so sorry, and the amount of time you put into your work speaks for itself. I made the flower scarf pattern for my mother and it's still her favorite thing that I made her. You are one of my favorite crochet CZcamsrs, and I completely understand where you're coming from.
