I love your tutorials. You are an awesome instructor. Very clear, not too fast, not too slow. I have been looking for bookmark tutorials/stitches for stocking stuffers and various other gifting reasons. I love the variety you show, BTW I also am a big fan of your "new stitches videos. Thanks for sharing.
🧐🤔 hmmm a thumbs down?!?! I detect a bit of disrespect/jealousy. How about you start your own channel if you think you can do a better job 😃 Sarah is a precious young lady inside & out and loved very much!
What a fun bookmark. It is a great way to use up little bits of yarn. I used crochet thread. It is cute.
I just finished one!!! Thank you!!!!
I've been looking for just the right bookmark to make and found yours today. So excited that I immediately made one following both your written pattern and your tutorial. Your tutorial is excellent! I had no trouble doing the 3 tr together once I could see how you did it. I am now a subscriber!!

Starting chain is multiples of 6 +2 for those wondering!🤗
Thank you sarah
Absolutely Beautiful Sarah ❣️ be making these to go with books for Christmas gifts this year❣️ Thanks so very much 🤗💞👍👍👍🙏
You’re very welcome, Peggy!
Thank you for this beautiful bookmark tutorial and for having all the information about this video on the description box. 🌷
You’re very welcome :)
I found the answer on your web site. Thank you
Thank u i was satisfied when I’m doing the tr3tog😂💘💘
just wondering is there a specific multiple of chains that we can use if we need to increase or decrease the length especially when using a different yarn?
Starting chain is multiples of 6 +2
Row 1, is that being done on the back of the chain? I’m new and all the other bookmarks I’ve made the stitches are worked on the top loop of the v but this seems as if the chain is turned around and working the stitches on the back of the chain. Hope this makes sense
♥️♥️
Hello, i love this pattern. Is there a multiple to work to if you want the bookmark a different size? Thank you!
Starting chain is multiples of 6 +2
Great bookmark! This would make a wonderful Christmas gift. Since my yarn store doesn’t carry this yarn can you suggest another yarn?
I would select a yarn that has a #3 or even a #2 for the weight on the skein wrapper. I used a 100% Cotton, but you can use any fibre that is available to you :) I think even in a %100 wool it would look amazing!
How do you make the waves?
Loved the tutorial, made my first one tonight! Just wondering if it's okay to make a bunch of them using your design to sell at a craft fair in the winter? Thought they would be a good stocking fillers for people to buy for around £3. Of course I will only make them if it's okay with you I just love the design and they were so easy to make!
For sure you may sell the finished products at a craft sale :) (just not the pattern itself) I’m glad you like the pattern and hope they sell well for you! Have fun!
@@RichTexturesCrochet thank you!
Hi! I’ve been making your bookmarks using crochet thread (size 10) and they are beautiful! I was wondering what the chain multiple was for the beginning chain so I could increase the length. Can’t wait to make this one!🤗
Starting chain is multiples of 6 +2 for those wondering!🤗
THANK YOU! I wish all tutorials would state this right up front!@@lindsaycate2429
I really love this bookmark! The only #3 light weight yarn I have is Mandala, which has long color changes. I do have some Caron SS, do you think that would work? If so, should I use same size hook you used? If not what size hook..maybe a 4mm? And number of stitches for the chain? I'm sorry for all the questions but I don't have a lot of yarn...just mostly worsted weight #4 yarns. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated as I would love to get started on these. I love the pattern. TIA.🌼
I don’t mind the questions :) is try the simply soft, it’s a #4 but on the lighter side. You can try the 3.5 mm or go up to a 4mm. Try the same stitch count and see how it looks :) if it’s too big I can see if I can figure out the multiples for a shorter foundation chain
@@RichTexturesCrochet Thank you so much Sarah. I found some cheap peaches and cream cotton and some cotton from Knit Picks all scrap yarn but trying to put some colors together. So using 4wt yarn.
@@RichTexturesCrochet *UPDATE: I did the 38 chains and it is a bit bigger but it's not too bad* thank you for this tutorial🌼💛🌼
Jamie Renee Did you use the worsted weight yarn and a 4mm hook or the simply soft and a 3.5? I want to try this, but I personally hate using thinner yarn and smaller hooks! 😑 I just don’t want it to turn out too bulky!
Can I use a foundation single crochet stitch to begin this?
Yes you can
Is this the patrons yarn 100 % mercerized cotton #3 size
Yes it is
👍🙏👍🥰
do we have to use three colors or can we just use 2 ??
Feel free to use just two!
@@RichTexturesCrochet Thank you !! Lovely tutorial !! ❤😘
I don't know what I am doing wrong but I am not ending on a single in row 2
same... mine ends with the second triple crochet. i'm so confused
It looks like she is working the stitches on the back of the chain. Maybe that’s what makes the difference? I’m used to working on the top loop of the v but this seems as if the chain is turned around and the stitches are being worked on the back loop of each chain
Sorry but l am a little confused in row 345 actually l am only 11 year old l tried it as many times l can but no not able to make
If you haven’t already, I recommend checking out the written pattern (richtexturescrochet.com/making-waves-bookmark-free-crochet-pattern/), it may help to see it written out :)
@@RichTexturesCrochet ok thanku
I couldn't get the pattern right because your hands were going so fast
There is an option on the CZcams player to slow the video down (or speed it up :) helpful for any tutorial). It’s hard to crochet at a speed that works for everyone and a good reminder for me to slow down a bit :)
Rich Textures Crochet great tutorials!
Triple crochet? Ahhh too fast 🤦🏼♀️
