I once transpoted a toddler up Blaze Hill using a tag-along and it was nearly the end of me so I salute your attempts at moving a canoe with an e-bike. A wider wheel base should do the trick. Btw the toddler had to walk the last 20 meters and wait for me to catch up. Good man. Keep up the wild stuff.

Billy, when pushing the boat by hand (using that trolley) do it so the boat is in front of you (push, don't pull). The wheels will "crab" a lot less and you will have a lot of control. You should also see where the strap comes over the top of the boat and add a "stopper" either side of the strap and on both sides of the boat. The stopper can be anything you like including a small screw. It prevents the strap from slipping which is your main issue and the slipping / loose strap makes the trolley even easier to crab and fall off. One of my vids shows Ram Mounts that act as stoppers on my kayak. Don't tow it, you will get in trouble me thinks if you go onto the roads.
I’ve wanted to do that with a canoe 🛶 & a bicycle 🚲, for ages. I have a 16’ codette fibreglass triple keel with aluminum gunnels & oak hardware, I love it, it’s made in 1973 in Quebec. But it’s heavy heavy heavy 😢. An e-bike would be an ideal way to haul it. One way haul for me would be 25 kilometres.
I don't know anyone who's bought an E-bike, but I know a dozen who have been given one. Not so with BMW's. Have followed you right from the start and love your content. Cheers Billy. !!

Think you need a silicone spatula, shouldn't laugh on first attempt riding with the canoe behind, don't try don't know but I did laugh sorry. Keep the vids coming bud.

I have two ebikes. Had the first one for 5 years and the other (a mountain bike) for 2 years. Regularly ride on forest tracks, logging trails etc.
