I live in neighboring Khobar🇸🇦 quite close to Dubai and has the exact same weather and if I don’t take my fish inside before July they’re GONE! Boiled alive! I’m impressed by this koi pond tbh….but I think the shade cloth, trees and depth helps cool the pond during the Summer…Gorgeous setup ❤️❤️🐠🇦🇪

Of the ponds are cooled with airconditioning during the summers. Also a lot of shade. But sometimes water temperatures rise up to 35 degrees Celsius

Good use of green plants, shade and trees to keep that area cool. I can assure him, koi would not enjoy Dubai weather or water without that type of management. They are cold water fish. I have mine overwintering often below zero in the UK.
How sad is that such beautiful koi can make me feel so sad but at the same time in total awe of such beauty. Thank you for making such a stunning video and it was lovely Tony, I was lucky enough to meet him many years ago at the original Koi Water Barn 😊 ❤️

One thing rarely talked about is whether the fish get sick or have any died and how they go about treatment to such a huge pond. Does he have a place for quarantine as well?

Pond is amazing but not sure it does have any chiller as some of the fish beni had lost its color - Tancho. The showa is good but if the motoguru on right hand is there, it will be perfect. Anyhow it is a good sff showa. Kohaku kiwa sharpness is good but pattern wise is old Japanese 3steps. beni shine is there but fish body is not bulk enough. Perhaps owner can increase the feed because a well feed koi, they will not swim to the surface and wait for food. Add some color food in feed. Use PSB to help enhance the color. The hi utsuri body line is not good, it look like a snake and it is not clean with many black dot. This hi utsuri you need to feed more food. It is under feed obviously. Again, no point to have a big fish but it does not have a well big body to support. Else it will look like a thin snake. Even a cheap koi can grow big if you select a good structure fish. Shiro is good with good shiroji and sumi. Again right hand is not nice. You can compare the left and right hand. Summary, you had the budget to select a good top quality fish but you overlook on maintenance part. With your budget, you should keep your fishes at Show grade condition at all time. I do not understand why your kohaku is not feed with color food. No worry of the shiroji yellowish, you can recondition it back later. I will suggest you to keep this mix saki deep red 60%, Growth 20% and balance r 20% for 1 to 2 months. Bring up the fish body and suppose Tony should be able to advise you. Fish condition can goes up or goes down depend on how you groom them. you need to have the mentality of a groomer then your fish will be in tip top condition all year round

@@TheKoiPartner in this case i think feeding duration is too short. Perhaps can increase the duration and bulk up the fish body. His fish and facilities are top class, just feed time and some good bacteria use need to be consider.

Koi can live up to 40 years in captivity, there story’s about a koi that became more then 200 years old

Yes, the original picture was to dark because of the shadows created by the covers. To get the image bright enough I had to do some work on the picture to made it stand out.. 😄 did you like the video?
