Get some O'Keefes hand cream for the dry and cracked hands. It is so awesome. I'm from Texas and never heard of it till I started driving a truck and had to go up north. That stuff will repair you hands in 3 days.

Yes. We got to 78 before the day was over. Days 1, and 2 of the tournament had even more catches. I tired to slow down and go for bigger fish day 3. Maybe a mistake???

John, how did you make trails through those reeds? Did you just plow through them with your big motor and then go back through with your trolling motor and fish them?

Thanks, but the hands weren’t dry and cracked. I had caught so many fish over the 3 tournament days that my thumb was cut and sliced from the bass.

what rod were you flipping with? that things heavy duty. on a few of those i thought it was snapping for sure
I use Alpha Angler rods. The two rods I used:
1. Alpha Angler Hitter-7,6” for 3/4 weight
2. Alpha Angler Mag Hitter 7,10” for the 1 ounce weight.
