Are the largemouth still up in the reeds in July? Or maybe it’s more of a spring thing?

Thanks for the comment and for watching! You can catch them from early spring until early October in the cattails, phragmites, and reeds along the bay shore! I would say spring, and early fall our my favorite times to go though.

Thank you very much for the support I appreciate it! Usually as summer goes on, finesse fishing is key, fish will be looking to get out of direct sunlight, and tend to hold tighter to cover and shadows. The Texas rig, creature baits, and weightless shad mimics are all key for fishing these types of spots! Also top water frog fishing really picks up 💪
