Wolfe Ridge Compact Commercial Log Splitter - Jak na to + styl
A small business owner like Chris Wolfe are the backbone of our economy they employ local people maybe the first job a high schooler ever had but something to build their life time foundation for contributing to the economy. Hello Hunter. Thank you for sharing your video with us. Ed
Thanks Ed! We are up to 14 proud craftsmen now and still growing!
My brother purchased this exact model of log splitter after watching your channel. Chris dropped it off when returning from the Paul Bunyan show the next year after you had yours. My wife and I went to visit and helped split 2 chords of wood in an afternoon. This splitter never broke a sweat, never stalled, never got jammed. We did find the same thing with the 6 way wedge. the top wedge actually gets in the way on certain sized wood. if you move the wedge low enough to get nice size out of the bottom, it is just low enough the top 2 wedges come into play and peel kindling off the top. if you raise it high enough to take the top wedges out of the equation, now the wedge is high enough that the pieces out of the bottom are too large.
Watching that splitter at work never gets old. I love seeing you guys working outside together. Can’t wait to see the building get started.
This is probably my favorite of the videos that you made. There's just something about being outside and splitting wood that brings a calmness and a sense of satisfaction. Keep the videos coming! God bless!
Melissa, I love how you keep the pressure on Mike. You work his butt off! You Go Girl!!!
Melissa keeps it real with her stories! Have a day folks!
Morning all. Great splitter. As always Mike and Melissa love watching , Thanks 👍
Good morning all. Yesterday, my daughter, Elizabeth scored well enough to earn a Silver Medal and the KC Area Missouri special olympics. Lawn mowing is on the agenda for me today I hope everyone stays safe and spreads good news with a positive attitude.
Have a day.
That is awesome!
Yea! Elizabeth! You go girl! 👍👍🤗 Good Morning Phil.
Awesome
Way to go Elizabeth!! 🏅
Phil that mist feel good. Good parents that challenge their kids are not lucky, it is hard work but very rewarding
Hey Mike, Wisconsin checking in here. Thank you for the shout out regarding some of the benefits of this great state! I’m very impressed with the Wolfe Ridge splitter. It’s way more machine than I’ll ever need but every time you show it, I can’t help but think, hmmm, I wonder how I could justify the cost to my wife.
Melissa - I almost spit my coffee out at the splitter’s full comment. I got the reference immediately but I still enjoyed you acting it out. Love the channel and I wanted to say hello to Hunter!
Having split firewood all my life, that Wolfe Ridge is one of the best splitters I've seen. I'll bet that you'll be happy to store it in the new building when not in use to get it out of the weather.
I love the backstory of how you helped a local merchant and then how it benefited so many more people.Any company who makes their products in the USA,especially helping a new starter business is the best feeling. Thanks
74 thumbs down? Whiskey tango foxtrot? While this was not the most riveting content I've ever seen, it showcased a very fine machine built by a small business owner. This dude, despite onerous regulations and bales of red tape has employed numerous people to produce a quality product. Thomas Jefferson said it very well: "That government governs best which governs least." Here endeth the sermon.
Thank you Bill! We are up to 14 employees now who love building these machines too! Have a Day!
Thanks Mike for encouragement, now I have to go and do my pick up truck full and split & stack .
Good morning Morgan's.
That is a great splitter.
Love all the features it has.
I pulled the trigger on a new splitter about a month ago.
Looked at a lot of different ones. WolfRidge was one of them. Price was just a bit out of my range.. like you said it's not for everyone. I only do 5 cord a year so I could not justify the money.
So I looked at Rugged Made.
It made more sense.
Just doesn't have the adjustable wedge.
Like Melissa my wife loves to run it.. and it's great we get to work together. ❤With the four-way wedge it is so much faster then what I had for 40 years hahahahah
I have rambled on enough. Hahah
Keep up the great videos.
You have a great Chanel.
Your very Blessed.
Stay safe and always be kind.
Have a Day.
Go 603...
Mr. Wolf must love you! What a great and convincing plug for his product.
Great to hear you were a factor in helping a small business expand. A true American story!
"SPLITTER'S FULL!" You're a riot Melissa, lol. I got it immediately. Hope you guys are having a great weekend; I enjoy the new videos in the morning, gets my initiative up to get all my endless projects moving along, currently putting in drainage with my L3901 (the 3901 was the way I discovered your channel about 5 years ago)!
Greg Drusjack I did not see “Cousin Eddie” so I do not have a clue. But I do agree she is a riot, in a humorous way. And her and Mike compliment each other. I little humor in almost any situation is s good thing.
Elaine Greenwood I just read the first reply, and now I get it, and I’m LMAO!!!
@Elaine Greenwood 3 Classics for the Christmas season. Christmas Vacation, Christmas Story, and Scrooged.
Elaine Greenwood I agree with it being disgusting. I have a camper and use a pump with a water hose and send it into a sewer line clean out at my home.

Good morning everybody. Mike and Melissa another great video. I love the smell of fresh cut wood. have a great day.
Good morning Mike and Melissa, great video on the Wolfridge Log Splitter!!👍👍. It’s definitely a great log splitter and will last a lifetime. It’s sure been a great addition to your business! Thanks for sharing with us and keep up the good work and videos, you folks are great to watch. Missed you this morning Hunter 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍👍
That WolfRidge splitter looks perfect. The log lift is a back saver, but I think the real back saver is the height of the splitter. No constant bending over, then picking up the pieces from the ground after being split. Wonderful design. Should feel great after a days work, sitting back looking at the huge job just completed with a frosty mug! Root beer that is.... Great video Morgans.
Thank you!
This is still one of my favorite you guys, Hi from Morgan & Denise, and Matt, in MN
I have a 28 pro. Found it watching you. It really is awesome. Chris was great to work with
Enjoy watching your progress, with lot's of good tips! Also great views you give us MM!
We have only had our wolferidge for a while but WOW is it awesome. I got it after seeing you use yours and I am so glad I did. It was more then I wanted to spend but now that I have it I'm so glad I spent the money. Every time I use it it saves me HOURS of work over using our old "homestore" style splitter. I can easily do a cord an hour. You can tell Chris you for SURE sold me on his splitters and got him another sale!
Thank you Mr. WOLFE!
Love the stars and stripes. Granted you two almost always have it on your ranger. It nice to have it especially since 9/11 was 19 years ago. Nothing says American pride better than how you two honor the flag and our freedom to make your own dreams come forth. It saddens me that people are forgetting that United States of America is such a country that mostly every other countries citizens want to live here. We are fortunate to live in a country that has our freedoms to make change of our personal life. God bless the USA. Say hi to Hunter and family.
I am a patriot as well. I am saddened to inform you that the United States of America is not a country, but a corporation. See the act of 1871.
The United States for America is indeed a country.
God bless
Back to the finer things in life! Great video Mike.
That is an amazing machine !!!! You have worked it pretty good , and Yes , it still looks new !!! Good solid machine !! Hello to Hunter , and Great tunes !!!
I have a 37 ton NorthStar splitter from Northern that I paid $2,000. Does not have the log lift or power 4 way wedge, but it has all the power needed and the powder coat is incredible.
Thank you for showing this log splitter. We are very impressed with what we have seen. We are looking to start up a firewood business in the near future. We as a family follow your family daily after work to catch up with your videos. It would be an honor to meet you all some day and see how things are done in the East Coast compared to here in Southeast Missouri. We are also impressed with the Kubota BX23S. We plan to make out next big purchases to be the log splitter you showed here and then the Kubota BX23S. We have learned a lot from you and look forward to continue learning from you. Thank you.
Really like that log splitter
I had to break down and buy a chin saw. Had wind storm come through and broke off a large limb so that was my project for Saturday. Just got the M170 don't need anything bigger for an occasional job. Hope you keep up the good weather so you can get your project done.
Really like y’all’s videos! God Bless Y’all! Have a Day!👍❤️
Melissa, love the comment "Splitters Full" Great team work Mike and Melissa! Look forward to your next video! Cannot wait to get my Wolferidge Log splitter in November and try it out.
quick work of that pile of wood splitter works well good job have a good day
Great video. Mike you have a great helper or maybe she is the boss. Always enjoy Outdoor With The Morgans.
Good video fella. Lucky I’m old enough that rehashed info feels fresh.
Thank you for sharing
Good Morning Y'all! Hear Mike talking bout the paint on the Splitter and how durable it is.Bless Melissa comes in with "You can't find a Nail Polish like that." This woman is one of a kind - - - gotta love her.....Y'all have a safe and great day up there
Hey Mike and Melissa and family. Long time sub here. Never miss an episode from all three of you. That splitter has turned out to be a real beast, well thought out, and well made. The only thing I might suggest for an improvement is... To save wear and tear on the beam would be to take off base that the ram is attached to, repaint the beam, and while the paint is drying, cut and drill out a piece of teflon plastic. Like they use on sliders on snow machines. Then re-install the base plate on the beam with the teflon between the base and the beam. It should slide on there really well and you won't have to look at all that rust ever again. I'm only talking about a piece around 3/16" to a 1/4" thick. Rick.
Absolutely perfect weather here in SE PA cool in the morning and night.. definitely fall is in the air... everything is green and the acorns are still dropping....love Old Glory in the middle forever waving
It really is a nice splitter. CHRIS: Someday….I may be heading your way to get mine.
Teamwork makes the dream work. 👍
Wonderful Helper you have Mike!!👍👊
Awesome splitter we use an EastonMade 9-16 and love it, I think the EastonMade and Wolf Ridge are the top two splitters going right now.
Hey again, Keith here in NC, just wanted to say that I loaded cables onto flatbeds for twenty couple years and used two forklifts, a big one and a smaller one, both nice Toyota's. I kept a flag on both lifts, one like you have on the side beside and a large one on the big lift. It stayed outside so the tall pole didn't matter. Over the years I got lots of compliments. Was very proud flying old glory on the lifts! Great idea Mike! I enjoyed the splitter sale again. I'm a lifetime subscriber to yours and Melissa's channels. You're the best!
Thanks guys for sharing your video. cheers and stay safe.
That splitter does seem to be doing a great job and holding up nicely. Excellent engineering and craftsmanship Wolfe Ridge!
Thank you!
Love your videos ,and this is very helpful because I'm thinking of getting one of these, I have about 30 acres of woodland to clean up as I'm adding pasture and hay ground
Great video Mike and Melissa, I live in Wisconsin and I actually live only 2 hours away from Wolfe Ridge MFG! They are definitely built like a tank and made in my home state!
I just looked at the map. Wolf Ridges is 5 miles from where I live! Would like to try out their splitters.
Great video. Real nice splitter.
Hello from Eureka Springs Arkansas, first time watching. You guys are great, love the log splitter.
Ha ha shitters full , funny just watched that 4 am could not sleep so first film was that and its that good had to watch it all . love to the family .
Wolfe Ridge are great splitters. Between this channel & Back40Firewood I am saving up for the big commercial splitter.
Good to see you two working together. Amazing equipment and teamwork. Mike I’m sure everyone wants an idea of the price.
the splitter is 15000 Dollar alone
Always love the smell of fresh cut wood - splitting firewood, cutting up trees, turning wood on the lathe, or just putting together some shelves. The smell of fresh wood has always just smelled like good work to me. And at the end of it all, you’re covered in what has become known to be called “man glitter”. Not sure who came up with that, but my little girl likes it a lot, so she loves it when daddy comes in from the wood shop covered in it.
Good morning to all the Morgans. Mike I'm glad to see the Wolfe Ridge took you back after your long love affair with the excavator. You truely do have a great helper. Have a great day guys.
As awesome as Mike is, and as fast as the Wolf Ridge splitter is....Melissa is loaded up and waiting. That gives Melissa the win !!!
The Lord tells us not to be envious of others, but I sure would like your lifestyle. Very cool.
nice splitter for sure ..i have a 32 ton wallenstein and i like it just fine ..been running it for 7 years ..not as fast but that's ok too . i usually run it horizontal but i can flip it to vertical too for bigger wood ..no lift on it ..so sometimes have to wrestle the big blocks ...enjoy your channel , just not enough time to watch sometimes. Now it is almost mushroom picking season so i will drop everything and do that ..Much more fun..cheers and take care
Wow luv this log splitter. Def want one
“Can’t get a nail polish like that”! Hahahaaaaaa!
“Splitter’s full.” Melissa, you crack me up!
Mike, it is a good thing you are the straight man of this combo.
After hearing her comment about reading the labels to identify the controls, I suggest, 3 different shapes of knobs, and maybe different colors. Wedge lifter a cross, lifter a T?
👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🗽🙏Enjoyed! I have a Northern 30 ton splitter. It has grease zerks on the hydraulic beam slide which I grease each time I use the splitter, I also smear grease on the beam so no binding, no wear and no rust! Take care/be safe, it has cooled off in NE Texas....mid 80's.
The Wolfe Ridge is a work horse! Had to laugh at the Cousin Eddie comment....just don’t name your next Golden, Snot!
Hey Hunter...hope your having a day!
I've seen others put a light drizzle of hydraulic fluid or lubricant at the start of a splitting operation, but I would think a liquid to provide lube would work just as well. Really liked the music in the background of the splitting also. Great sound and rhythm.
Thank you from Toronto Canada🇨🇦 😍
Mike I hope you don't mind me asking this of your followers but please everyone say a quick prayer for us out here in California the wildfires have burnt over 3 million acres with very little containment. It's a truly heartbreaking sight
Nice shoes Melissa. Y'all have a great day.
Really love that splitter
Hey Mike and Mellisa
Would suggest pulling the cylinder back all the way in to stop contaminants or rust from getting on the shaft. Also when I store stuff outside or in moist condition I spray G96 gun treatment on areas that could rust. Like the way you always look after equipment, usually lasts longer that way with little maintenance.
Enjoy your videos Love Hunter in the background. Keep Safe.
ANOTHER GREAT VID, WATCHING THE LOG SPLITTER AT WORK, JUST A SGGESTION, LOOKS LIKE THE RAM COULD DO WITH GOING A LITTLE CLOSER TO THE SPLITTERS! EXCELLENT REVIEW,. KEEP SAFE AND WELL YOU AND FAMILY.
"Splitter's Full!" hahaha, good one.
Melissa your such a hoot to watch,so funny especially when you impersonate Mike.I would love to be at a party withyou guys You would make it so enjoyable. Thanks Mike for another great video.
Mr. Morgan, You work that Splitter, But Melisa is a working girl. You have a great helper there. That Lady keeps up with you every time I've watched you two. A great team.
Awesome splitter!
My wife and I had a similar story to your paddle boats except it was bicycles in yosemite. We thought we had been out for more than an hour we were winded because we are getting old, out of shape and the bikes had only 1 gear for the extreme ups and down of the road. We had only been gone about 20 mins the guy at the bike rental laughed and wouldn't even charge us.
Good morning from southern Indiana. You are right it is a great splitter but I made the mistake of overlooking the model that includes the hydraulic wedge lift. Because of that it is not nearly as effective. Not the splitters fault but my oversight. Wish I knew then........
Good morning from Yukon. Good morning Hunter. Have a great day.
It’s an incredible machine for sure. I’d be curious to see a side by side comparison with your machine and the Eastonmade that Adam runs on Hometown Acres. Both are solidly built machines with amazing cycle times. Stay safe everyone
Western PA here as well! What an amazing machine!
Great product and American Made
Helloo from Norway :-))) handling lots of firewood here too, for my own use ... with tractor, chainsaws, cutters and splitters... lots of work and lots of excersise ! Nice videos , love u guys ;-)))
Good morning from Columbus Ohio. Mike, was Melissa saying when you were younger spending minutes with you was like hours 😁. Just kidding you guys are a great couple. Love your channel keep up the great work. Have a day🇺🇸
After being out of work for the last 2 years and on a tight budget, I decided to convert my gas fireplace to a wood burning fireplace. I live in the city but started noticing a lot of free wood. I’ve been looking for something to that’s fast and easy. Lol and the people around me love it and are very lazy. Yes this is to much but like you said, I cut a lot of wood in one afternoon.
splitter works like a charm
Your ol'lady cracks me up she's really funny really dig your video.
MIKE I got a 22 ton husky log splitter and I love mine
Proud of her for women kind .u 2 make it looke easy and almot fun and working together i am shour it is a good time
Look into fluid film to spray on that i-beam to help with the surface rust and help lube.
I use Teflon dry spray. Works well on all friction parts incl conveyor. But don't put it on drive belts! Haha Have a great day! :D
Wranglestar squirts a little used oil on his I beam, on his splitter. It works.
I spray ours down everytime we wash our splitter, Fluid Film is the only way to go. We have a video on Fluid Film and that stuff works great!
Crazy, fluid film is the best product I have seen on OWTM. Looks like a good product for keeping my equipment that I have to wrench on. I am going to order some. Any recommendations for spray applicators.
@@realairplane261 you can buy the aerosol cans, or you can purchase a Woolwax undercoating gun and buy the Fluid Film in gallon cans. That's the most economical way of using it, but it limits you to where your air hose length. I have aerosol can in the workbenche and one in the camper, otherwise, I use it through the Woolwax gun.
Enjoy your videos hope some day to be able to turn my property in to a oasis like yours.
Morning have a great day from VA.
Hello! Love your channel! I hope my comic book, Randy Bamboo, arrived and brings a smile or two. RC
When I see nice wood being split for firewood a tear comes to my eyes. Just thinking what kind of lumber I could mill from the logs
Shes a beaut Clark lol. I bought one myself i live in Illinois about 7 hrs away after talking with Chris we decided my best needs was for a 35 ton . It hasn't failed to split anything yet .
Thank you Ed!! Glad you are loving your splitter. Let me know if you need anything! Thanks Chris

Very nice Machine.
Sweet Melissa😃😍
nice machine!.... thanks 4 video. be kind.
Work always goes easier and smoother when your working with some beautiful people. Dream hobby-job hey. (Although I’d still prefer splitting by hand with a Fiskars Splitter and Fiskars Maul and a Hookaroon).
Melissa, you can't forget the name of the beer!!!! Meister Brau!!
Cheers.👍 mates cool as the place looks good.😆 Nice.😆
It's amazing how often a little tinkering ends up being a serious business!
It's called American ingenuity at work ! That's what made thus country the greatest in the world !
All I can say is you are one VERY LUCKY MAN WOW
As a Wisconsin full blooded native, I'd like to add, were known for our huge well managed forests, plentiful clean waters and our tough hard working citizens as well. Gotta be tough to live in Wi.
Shawn, I was in Alaska a few years ago and while talking to the natives, I told them that I lived in Upper most Wisconsin, they replied, “it is too cold there”.
Good afternoon Morgan's! I hope everyone in the universe is having a great Sunday. There's so much hatred, negativity, and division in this world right now it's mind boggling. We all have our ups and downs in life but we must seek the positives.
Just remember that you don't have to look far to find someone that's worse off then you.
Help someone out today whether it's manual labor, a nice guester, change, compliment or just a smile. Be safe, be nice, and have a blessed Sunday. Be thankful all.
