Congrats on the CanAm Defender….my brother has had the 10 and 8 for several years and they’re impressive. Comfortable and smooth beyond compare and loads of power. They go way way faster than you want to go, that’s for sure. I have an older Bobcat diesel and it’s really nice, but jumping from it into the CanAm is like going from an Impala to a Sedan De Ville! Going over rocks and not spilling your coffee smooth.

Thank you for all you do. After watching your videos and seeing how you used your Kubota tractors I did buy my LX3310 about 2 1/2 years ago for our property. We have used and abused the machine and it keeps on ticking. I did lots of research and enjoyed your content and Neil Messick's channel. Very pleased with my purchase. I liked the green tractor too, but their paint seemed to add a premium to the cost over the comparable Kubotas. Enjoy watching your videos and hoping my retirement in a few years is as enjoyable as all the projects you keep busy with.

Nice Trailer, like the wheel well storage. Loading the tractor on the rear looked like you would have a weight distribution problem. Seeing the rear tire squat would cause a tail wagging the dog syndrome. You could load the tractor in reverse then the front of the Zero-turn front could be tucked into the bucket and shorten the length. As you know the F350 has a 10% of load recommended hitch capacity. Weight distribution is key. Been watching for about 5+ years. have learned a few things. and wife and I enjoy the family grow.

You filled up with diesel fuel, but the delivery truck shows it's hazmat number code of 1203, which is gasoline. Either you got gasoline or the hazmat number is in error.

You should try a kioti next. I have found my DK4220se to be a far superior machine to the 3901 kubota I had previously in every way. Hope to see a new brand.

I really enjoy your videos Mike but I am curious as to why you are using gravel to bed the cross drain. I have installed many as a contractor and years ago for the DOT and always used clay to bed it and compact it and then covered it with base gravel. Maybe you don’t have any suitable clay? That’s the only reason I can see why.

CanAm makes a nice machine. Highly recommend a windshield cover for transporting your side by side because replacement windshields are $$

Mike, I have a Kubota LX2610 and a RTVX1140. Love them both but lik3 you I mainly use the RTV for working around property and picking up mail more than having fun. What interested me more about the Defender was actually the trailer. Do you have a video on it? Are the fenders drive over as well as boxes?

I think the words you were looking for is you're not beholden to anyone. That is a great feeling. About 5 years ago CanAm really stepped up their game. They weren't dependable and the wheelbase was funky on them, people crashed them a lot. They are totally different machines now. Kawasaki really puts out some nice ones that give Polaris a run. The proof of that is Andrew Camarata. He bought one and still has it and he destroys EVERYTHING he touches, so that says something for Kawasaki. Polaris has kind of been the king and innovator for a long time and they are proud of that. If I were in your situation I would get a 35ish hp big frame tractor. They are right in that sweet spot with plenty of power to grad and use a 60" for sure tiller. I have a 25 and it runs a 60" Woods gear drive tiller like nothing. I would stay away from Deere (and I was looking at them) if for no other reason than their "Right to Repair" legal battle they lost. Plus the are like Polaris, proud and every implement is proprietary. Their stuff is not built as well as the South Korean tractors either. More aluminum and pot metal unlike the cast iron of the South Korean tractors. I'm sure whatever you choose will meet your needs. Based on these videos and hints you have been dropping for a few months are all falling in place and making sense now.

Never use a shovel when a backhoe will do.

I would think that with that skid loader and excavator you wouldn't really need a small tractor but everything has a purpose. I bought a small 25hp tractor with backhoe as a compromise, but if i could afford the excavator and skid steer that would make me happy and get all that i need done in a hurry.

Sorry to say I think Kubota is over priced . There are a lot on the market with a great record

I have a 2020 CanAm defender 4 door and your gonna love it. Great ride, plenty of power, lots of cubby holes to carry stuff. In 4 years I have over 7000 miles on it and no problems! Use it pulling trailers, hauling equipment and supplies here on my ranch in SE Oklahoma.

HI Mike - Love your channel and enjoy watching all your episodes. You will love your new CanAm, but the Polaris has a model that is priced equivalent - Ranger XP1000 NorthStar. The new XD1500 is the higher priced new rig and is like your Super Duty in the Polaris Ranger line up. The Defender and Ranger XP1000 are like a F150, I am sure you did your research. Enjoy!
