Everytime I see Daniel driving along the A4 elevated section I feel so old as that used to be my regular commute from Chippenham to Victoria back in the late 80s. Same with the train shots, I was an IT consultant at Foster Yeoman HQ back in the 90s. Small world! Looking forward to 2024 content 👍🏾

At 3:34 When loading the dumper, the roll bar should be up. If it slips off the ramp and tips, the operator would otherwise be crushed.
To the team's credit, they do put it up when they are taking it off at 3:47 mark

I've noticed over the last few months that the hook lift and flat roll off, has really become a significant piece of equipment. I hope there is a plan to get an additional roll off deck and even a second hook lift. Down time for either one right now would have serious repercussions to operations.
I don't really know why I started to follow the Ashville videos as I have no connection with construction but I have seen them all and am a great fan. Good luck for 2024.

Whoever took it or if it somehow blew off while driving, whatever the case, whoevers hands it makes it into, will be giving free advertising for Asheville, or is a huge fan of Asheville. For me im in the US, and i watch and learn the difference in the words used, the way things are done in the construction field being in it myself and just overall like the content.

In the states we use railcar conveyor unloaders. You position them under the railcar and open the bottom. The material drops into a hopper or directly onto the conveyor. The conveyor belt drops it into its storage location, into a truck or a front end loader to be dumped in storage.
We would too if we could buy the land, London is cut throat business.
I rent 1/8 acre for storage @£44k a year
@@Tunsgate123 you don't need more land than he already has for what in talking about. What I'm talking about is significantly smaller than a car. Just Google railcar conveyor unloaders. There's all types and they are moblie. Empty a railcar and drive it to the next one. They are expensive when compared to the equipment and operator he's currently using. He could probably several of them.

For the hidden tv, you could bring it out a letterbox slot and lift it. It would then fit in the void space you have. Engineering would be exciting on it too.
The truck/horse coach could be used as a mobile office for Ashville construction out of town and also to provide accommodation and save costs too!

@ 15:48 Reference the train unloading, what happens to all the full wagons, as if someone else requires a different material, then they would have to be emptied once again & reloaded with that different material.

I just love when people who have probably never even used a shovel to dig a hole to plant something let alone build anything worth while!!!! They always have something negative to say about shit they know nothing about, anything that you do within city limits has it's own separate rules, codes, and every other thing that you could possibly imagine, of course I only see what's on your videos but you really seem to be an honest person and I believe that you definitely do the best you can for your customers, it's very hard to keep a cool head about you when you have a bunch of jealous slugs talking shit about everything that you do, but it really says that your successful young man getting it keep it up brother bih ups

Why do not you use a drop down Italian system like MAIOR FLIP 100 for the TV that is completely hidden within ceiling? It requires around 250 mm of height to hide.

Just a thought mate. You lads probably won’t see this but why don’t you use a van/ pickup for any plant delivery less than 2.5 tons the flat plant trailers would be way faster for dropping gear in central London, also the lads can take the kit to site themselves instead of waiting for drop off, only a thought!
