I used to always feel bad for Jay, cause he was one of the people who got shit constantly. I know you all got a lot of unnecessary shit, but Jay was bullied constantly and always put down whenever he did well in ANY GAME, whether it be on or off stream/video . Always felt mega bad for him. I'm 21 now, and I was about 15 when I was heavily into watching you and that group, so when you said that it impacted you so much because you all grew together I really felt it... As a third party viewer I was so invested and I felt involved with you all at the time, so I can't even imagine how you must feel. It must have taken you so much to work through this, so major props to you for going to therapy and working through this ❤️

For starters, and this goes out to everyone, "worthless" is the absolute worst thing you can call someone. Do not call another person that, like, oh my goodness, you have no clue how much damage that word can do.
Next up, Nexus, I'm not gonna sit here and pretend that I know you. Yeah, I watch your videos fairly consistently and I care about you, but I do not know you as a person. So, I apologize in advance if I sound like I do. I also might sound all over the place, as I'm typing this as I listen to you...so, sorry again.
I started getting anxious when you described the stomach-dropping, the-world-is-ending feeling that you had, feelings that I bet you still have. I'm not about to compare pain, y'know? Last year, something happened to give me the same feeling. I suffered, and I'm still in therapy for it. I'm only mentioning that because I feel less alone, knowing that others understand that pain. Hopefully you're the same in that regard. One of the things I learned in therapy is that there's nothing I could have done to prevent the tragedy from happening. Literally none of what happened is your fault. There's nothing you could have done. It's a terrifying thought, but it's also a freeing one. Terrifying because it can make you feel powerless, but freeing because at the end of the day, you can only control your own thoughts and actions.
You asked what kind of person says and does toxic shit and then blocks you. Do you wanna know what kind of person does that? An emotionally inept person. A person who was either born with something wrong in their head, or was raised by emotionally inept people. I said I didn't really know you, but what I do know is that you feel the way you do because you are a beautiful soul. You're also absolutely wild, to be sure, but a beautiful soul nonetheless.
Anyway, sorry for the wall of text. My anxiety hates it when I leave comments, but I wanted to power through it this time. If you do read this Nexus, you gotta know that you are loved by so many people. Hateful words can hurt, but people who bring others down to pull themselves up are trash. ever since I found your channel man I’ve always felt you were a genuine person, it took a lot of guts to post this video making yourself so vulnerable. You’re an amazing person keep taking care of yourself and keep posting the incredible content
I think that he was very insecure and what you said confirmed it. I remember in many LPs even specifically his let's go one, he said 'I don't care about other people's playthroughs and how they do things' and yet now it's being revealed that he spoke about other peoples LPs that way. So clearly he was sat there saying 'I don't care' trying to convince others and probably himself too.
He unnecessarily shat on people for years. But like you were saying when me and others spoke up, when we said shit his hive mind fanbase would not let you live. Case in point, the Insurgence episode where he spoke Jay into releasing Pokémon and the Uranium episode where he spoke Mo into not using the shiny. He was very clearly insecure and it showed through many things, especially his obsessive need to always be right and think of himself as better. He literally seemed to keep Jay around purely to get his anger out on someone. He knew Jay would just accept it so he was there for that, and it always bothered me because Jay is a genuinely good guy. For example too in the Great Generation debate series. The concept for that series was great but it was completely ruined by him trying to force his opinions upon the group.
He was toxic, insecure and more. But his fans would ignore it even when he was horrible about them. I remember going to his Twitch streams sometimes and he would just straight up be shitting on his youtube viewers.
It's sad but I think everyone made the right decision distancing and removing themselves from him. You, nick, Shady and everyone else even those who no longer do youtube like Mo and Twit all deserve better and I hope things will get better given time

As someone who's had their own mental health struggles, I know how hard this video must have been to make. I'm happy to hear that you and Shady are talking. He seems like the kind of person who will give you the support you need and help you through your struggle. That being said, I understand that there is a lot of healing that still needs to be done by both you and Shady before something like that will happen. I had my own dilemma, but as a viewer last year. I knew what (he) did was terrible, but deep within I wanted to believe he understood his wrongdoing and sought help - alongside the fact that I genuinely viewed him as an entertaining content creator for many years. A year later, things have gotten clearer.
Watching Shady's video, and now this one, made me get emotional. Even for a split second (when he returned) I thought things would progress, but Shady's video slapped me in the face with a cold harsh reality that may never change. Understanding one's flaws is the first step to changing one's mindset or actions. As of right now, his trajectory doesn't seem to have shifted much if at all.
As a person who was an avid fan of him, I pray he gets the help he needs. Unfortunately, that will only happen once he recognizes that it's necessary to begin with. Maybe his past plays a role in his actions now, but other than being an entertainer/content creator, I know absolutely nothing about the person behind the scenes.
All that aside, I wish all the best for you, Shady and all others involved going forward. Stay safe and don't let the opinions of those who're blissfully ignorant to the full story sway your mental state.
I'm only 5 minutes into this video and much love to Nexus for being transparent and real with us on all of this. As an entertainer it must not be an easy thing to open up in that kind of way with your audience and talk about issues like anxiety and depression and those kinds of vulnerabilities, when most content made on here is supposed to be more light hearted and entertaining, it means a lot that you're able to open up and be real with the community. Especially with how polarizing the entire controversy with everything has been.

Nexus I have watched you guys for so long and I never could have imagined the shit that was going down on the sidelines. You have made me smile so many times. It is disgusting what those commenters are doing. They think because they aren’t speaking to you face to face they can say horrible shit. I truly hope that one day you will be able to put all of this behind you. I am currently in my first year of college so I totally understand how you felt at that time.
