- The Watercraft Journal visits FuelTech's USA headquarters and gets a personal walkaround of their insane compound turbo Yamaha GP1800R by FT President Anderson Dick. We also compare the current SVHO 1.8L cylinder head vs. the new 1.9L High Output cylinder head. If you've ever wanted to set water on fire, these guys know how to do it.

Anderson is truly changing the game for the yamaha market. I cannot wait for their new oil / fuel pump.
The reason the pistons looked different was because the 1.9 is normally aspirated. The SVHO will use a lower compression piston that will most likely have a dished dome.
Brian Foreacre stopped by Fuel Tech USA facility for the Advanced Dyno Training with his 1200+ Horsepower Twin Turbo wild hot rod powered.
Thankyou boys from Australia.🇦🇺
Cant wait to see your on water review of the 1.9
Great video Kevin, truly enjoyed the content. Fuel Tech has some amazing new products coming out soon from the looks of it. Thanks again for sharing.

Awesome video
Glad you enjoyed it
Now if only we could see some Kawi love from FuelTech
Yes definitely need some more Kawasaki performance parts. I'm wanting to do fueltech on my 22 310lxs.
Great work, amazing people in the motor sports industry. Speaking of loving great engines, Taiga laid off nearly all its staff. Electric PWC and snowmobiles are a long, long way away.
I could geek out there for week 12 hour shifts
Hold on. There's a 1,200hp pwc?
I can only imagine. The new “SVHO” will have a different head. Hopfully bigger exhaust ports and the proper amount of intake bolts. Minimum at least a 6th bolt top and bottom in the middle.
Timing chains valves cams! Welcome to needing 10 grand in tools to work on your jets ski boys and girls!! God I miss 2 stokes skis! Well not really I still own 2 haha😂
What clutch you using sir?...
Just a a NA 1.8 vxho it will run much longer than any svho i bet
🤙👏👏
What brand / model of intake grate was that on the table?
I was wondering the exact same thing. Looks like a billet prototype.
Its at 10:45 into the video, I searched google images a lot and I cant seem to find another like it. Would love to know if that's available somewhere to purchase
@@THEKITPLUG I'm betting its a custom grate someone is making for them. Would love to have some more info on it
