The entire crew is incredible. Each character has its own uniqueness. I miss Gabby, Casey and Shay. If Saberigh leave the show it will tough to remain a die hard fan. I love the writers and producers content for the Chicago Fire series.
I miss Casey, Gabby, Mills and Otis but if Severide leaves that's it for me with Chicago Fire that will be the straw that breaks the camel's back!!

To be honest it doesn’t feel the same. Part of that is because of where we are as a society. So much innocence has been lost since we had Covid The other part is Gabby and Matt. I loved them together and Shay was a great friend to Severide, but when Gabby and Matt split up it didnt feel right.

I never watched Chicago Fire, so I was introduced to Lauren German as Detective Chloe Decker in Lucifer. She was so terrific in Lucifer, that I have to say, Chicago Fire's loss was the gain of all of the fans of Lucifer who loved her as "Detective." She has such terrific chemistry with her co-star in Lucifer, Tom Ellis, that I can't imagine anyone else playing that part.

Yes I agree. Casey & Gabby really looked like they really LOVED one another. Seeing Casey with Sylvie it was very AWKWARD. You can tell the actor who played Casey looked uncomfortable. I want to believe that's why he really left lol.

CASEY FOREVER! The show will never be the same.
A lot of shows decline when key cast members leave (obviously). But I have to say that Chicago Fire has mostly been doing well despite those departures since they have brought in new and fun characters to enjoy too. A prime example of a relatively boring cast right now is definitely Chicago Med. And somehow Chicago PD has barely lost any of their original cast, which is incredible
Just to share an insight (It's too long but just skim it you'll get the gist):
In the case of Chicago Fire, it's a firehouse with 3 firetrucks and and ambo, with various shifts and other houses, so (yes writing a character off is hard, but "in universe of the show ")it kinda has a possible huge cast that have like 3-7 main peeps, before Casey left it was Casey, Severide, Boden, Brett, Stella, Herrnan, Joe, Mouch who are where most POVS surround, but you have (even previously like otis, Dawson, Shay, Foster, Chili, Jimmy ) other side cast like ritter, Capp and Tony, Violet and etc where plots can be from their POV, so quite easy to re arrange the cast( killed off, too injured to be firefighters, left, fired, transfered to other houses) but keep it interesting as long as the main guys (the 6 left who are mainly the shows MCS) doesn't leave all at once and there will be room for more
With PD since majority are with the intelligence unit(most of them were already at the early seasons but cops like kim, Kevin and etc were promoted)it needs at least a tight cast (since they do lots of shady cop stuff and undercover stuff) Sure they had big names like Erin and Antonio who left, but majority haven't like Voight, Jay, Ruzek, Kim, heck tho rock at first Hailey kinda gels well lately. But the downside since they have a smaller cast( since not every cop can be promoted to intelligence and stay at that district )It is more impactful when someone leaves
The thing with med is that majority of the lead faces (that are not Goodwin doc Charles or Will H.) are gone, Dr. Manning, April and a couple few faces that left a huge mark and central plots are now gone mostly
Don't wanna be devil's advocate but just a quick overview of how probably or signs that one of the franchises might end
CF: If Severide is gone (I bet even if Casey returns, but severide leaves it might not be the same, also if Boden leaves it could also affect heavily)
CPD: Jay halstead, well he is like a pseudo next Man in charge if voight is gone, but having Jay leave before Voight would be a bit more impactful from what I see (sure Voight leaving has a larger impact, but either give halstead the Key or have a "CSI " type of plot that someone transfers to their unit and played by another rugged actor.
For Med well let's just hope Dr Charles or Will doesn't leave

Please don’t let Severide leave the Chicago Fire, and please bring back Gabby and Casey. The show will be so dry if these characters are gone . I believe they’re the best cast together with the Chief. The best.

I love this about Chicago Franchise, keeping Chicago safe for police, fire and even medical staff are dangerous jobs, even Med could have its dangers or have malpractices issues. Anyway, this exits keep the shows fresh

I would love to see. Casey & Gabby show up together in the Stellarides wedding. See them both married to one another & they had babies together like twins. That would be great! Also, I want to see Antonio too. See the brother & sister duo together again.

Chicago Fire...has great actors playing great characters. BUT, getting rid of Shay, Otis, Mackie, Mills, CASEY, GABBY, Foster come on guys. I love the show but when does it end. Do real firehouses have THIS MUCH TURNOVER?? Would have been nice to see Shay in the 6th or 7th season or Mills.

The first charter that left was Shay, she made a difference on the show. Then Otis left. The 8th season after Gabby left. Chicago Fire started going down hill. Lots of people agree with me. Casey claims to love Gabby with all he had, but got with Brett which was suppose to be her best friend. She was always jealous of the relationship that Casey & Gabby had. Now that you think about it Mills would have been a better fit for Gabby. Writers you all need to fix this. Everybody would be at ease if someone new for Casey would have come along. Brett has slept with or tried to sleep with every man on the show. What does people think about her. Hm Hm. Herman is the best, Silverride is not sure of himself, most of the time he is in his own world and Stella is great. They all seems to be poor staying with each other. Makes you think firefighters in real life is not making any money for the dangerous work they do. This is enough of my opinion. Bring Gabby back with a baby of her own and a real Husband that loves her with all he has. Love those Latino actors.

I honestly think Jesse will return, not only to the wedding, but finish out next year’s season with a happy ending with Kara, also the series is only extended till 2022, afterwards I think it will end.
