I need to get my dad on this show. He combines the two great evils of a guy who can't cook with a person who thinks he can. Eventually, I think he wised up and realized that while we did not outright say it, we really didn't like his food. My brother now cooks for my parents and he does really well.

Boiling a chicken needs at the very least water. You take the boniest parts of the chicken and cook in water for three to four flour hours. Strain out inedible parts, chill overnight scoop out fat.

Boiling chicken isnt always a bad idea, back home we have samgyetang, which is a soup made with a whole chicken stuffed with chapssal (sweet sticky rice), ginseng, jujube and medicinal herbs.
Technically speaking, any process or method of cooking is viable (disregarding things like microwaving) as long as you know how to do it. They did not know how to do it.
In filipino cuisine, we have what we call Tinola. It’s boiled chicken cooked in chicken broth, lots of ginger, sayote, sometimes pechay, salt. It’s a good chicken soup dish especially when it’s rainy season.

I know what I'm getting into when I click on these compilations, yet I still leave surprised and disgusted.
It amazes me that there's enough cooks for each season. This is insane.
At the end of the season "you know anyone else who cooks like you as well? Please contact them for the next season"
12-16 people out of possibly a few million people is selective enough to continue for a few tens season.

Happy to see this show is now on CZcams. One of my best shows on Food Network. It’s very hilarious and humble at the same time. Am a home cook who learn how to cook from the food network chefs themselves.

Just looking at some of these food combinations I can’t help but wonder if these people have ever tasted food
I hope the judges get paid enough for this show, having a risk of food poisoning while tasting
I have used cottage cheese for mac and cheese before (had it in the fridge and needed the food to last until payday). It took so much work to get it to taste right. Made a roux from bacon grease since it has strong flavor. Made a bechamel. Added a strong tasting melting cheese (can't remember which one since it's been awhile) and the cottage cheese. There wasn't much so it didn't ruin the texture. I simmered it on low for longer than usual make it more smooth. Added parsley and bell pepper so that any chunks wouldn't feel do strange. Was it my best mac and cheese? No, far from it but when you're on disability you make it work. It didn't taste bad, just not as good as if I had the proper ingredients.
Being unable to work gave me a long time at home to hone my cooking skills. If I hadn't gotten very good at it over the 2 years since the accident I don't think I would have even tried it. Too many steps and very easy to go wrong. It was... strange. Not terrible, but I won't be repeating that recipe.
This makes me feel so much better about my own skills 😂 thanks for this

My favorite of Worst Cooks of America was the lady who tried to convince Gordan Ramsey and Ann Brielle that Vanella fried chicken was good. Their reaction was priceless. Both mom and I looked at each other and said, "eeww grose" lol.
Actually, I’ve had sprinkles on this sauce on shrimp at a few restaurants before in Asia, it’s really good. The sauce is on the sweet side but savory as well while the shrimp is fried and salty/savory the combination worked really well.
But I doubt the girl with sprinkles would be able to achieve anything close to this level of flavor
