I honestly had no idea, until today, that Man Vs. Food was even a thing after Adam. I love it, so I've spent all afternoon watching these videos. Has this guy ever actually won a challenge? I'm being 100% serious.

@@jgs1703 To be honest, I do too. Adam's whole vibe is cringe AF to me. But for selling the show to the masses, he was the perfect guy with all the dramatic movements and over the top corniness of his jokes.

First time seeing the new fella. My kids and I watched Adam all the time when he was on. He was a lot more fun, and had the perfect sense of humor for this extremely niche kind of TV. Still gonna give the new fella a shot, but this show was made for Adam Richman.

78 oz. is 4.875 lbs. But when it was weighed raw the scale said 4.16 lbs. which is only 67 oz. Either way a gigantic piece of meat.

As someone from Montana, I've never heard of most of these places, although I don't go to Billings too often. The only one I knew about was the Ox, which is a chain in the state originating out of the capital city of Helena.
If I've got a limited amount of time to eat a giant steak ,I'm saving time and eating it with my hands ,not a knife and fork

I want a 78 ounce steak right now. Not as a challenge but that could be my meals for the day. At this moment, I could probably down 28-36 ounces immediately as I'm really hungry. Save the rest for the rest of the day whenever I get hungry or peckish.
After 48 hours of fieldwork I bet someone could eat the whole cow lol.

I've never watched the new show....used to watch the old one often. The minute I saw this guy I thought of actor Jack Black. Casey is not bad, he's just different and I think kind of funny.

Casey loses a lot of challenges but he always tries his best, remember casey isn’t a competitive eater he’s jus a regular guy who likes food.
Gotta say I was honestly let down by the Brisket... I've seen moist and juicy Brisket cutting before... but that was dry. Just looked like they over cooked it.

It sucks cuz the majority of his losses is him just barely losing. He has good capacity and potential and could get it done but just not enough speed.
It’s sorta not about him succeeding or not. There’s a reason 2/3rds of each episode is just him doing basically a diner’s drive in and Dives episode. That’s what the show mostly is.
